Morgans plan sounds good.
i assume your planing to add res as the description says its so powefull it can aborb some damage. the damage absorbed increased hit points like dull pain it wont up res or take those enhancements.
i have 3 recharge as its nice to know its ready and waiting though i could probably survive with less. i have 1 def as im close enough to the cap for me to feel safe (never been killed with overload on), and 2 heals for psi/tox EB/av's as all i have to keep me alive against those damage types is a big HP bar at lvl 50 my brute gains about 1100 hp -
LOL! one shot statesman cant belive recluse hasnt though of that one. So i will hopefully see a hoard of eger villains about 7:00 bst by the statue of recluse in GV ( i will check RV incase any1 is waiting there without arena on)where we can sort teams if nesersay. if we get multiple teams I could set up a tempory chat chanel for leaders and any1 with room for one.

I would just like to add i made a rookie error RV is open to every1 40/41+. if you can get in your welcom on the team/s.

Any 45+ villains interested in hunting Statesman and his pals. if we get enough we could grab some pill boxes and hopefully get the whole Phalanx.
I was thinking tuesday 29th mabey around 6-7 to give people a chance to get back from work. if any1 is interested could u post here, and sugest a new time if nessersary. we can hopefuly get a day and tiem good for every1.
Hopefully we could get a bit of co-operation from the heroes in the zone at the time, but it cant be guaranteed.
any one likley to be playing a hero in RV when we do this could u please give us an hour, could be fun watching the face plants as statesman sumons up the insane lightning storm of his.

I don pvp that much, though i really enjoy it, aid self allows me to compete though if im out-clased it will only prolong the inevitable. in pve its a fairly major part of my build, its my bigest way of dealing with psi atacks. its also nesersary for AV's and fury building as i use it for recovering from a major blow from an AV or when im knee deep in enemies/after defeating a group to reduce down time. I could adapt using end drains taking stun etc but i would rather not as i dont think the heal is overpowers, plus other at's and powersets dont have enough tools without taking aid self.
P.s power build up i dont nesersaraly think is overpowered on defenders or controlers, as it increases there capability to do their job just as build up does on blasters scrappers and brutes imho -
Although some people have reported feeling a diffenece between 3 and 6 slotting hasten even after ED i would leave it at 3 slots. would possibly be worth sticking a recharge in Aid other. i wouldnt slot hurdle and sprint.
Sprint with one SO is 19.9 mph 3 sloted is 21.49
Hurdle is with one so 33.96 mph 3 slotted 43.9
(according to hero builder)
not enough to make a difference id take one from each and add them to power sink, loved energy drain and i think there basicly the same. but all in all it looks pretty good -
I know its not the same, but with my NRG/NRG brute i took the fitness pool for obvios reasons
, Medicin for survivability as NRG and Elec could use a heal, Fly for my travel power as Air Sup really ups my survivabiliy and helps me to fire off Aid self (not that i normaly need that with my slotting) and hasten from speeed.
I know thats leaning alot on pool powers but i thought them all very usful to the way i play. As an elec you may be able to skip hasten as you have a mini one (apoximatly 1/3rd strength according to hero builder) you wond need acrobatics aslong as you dont leap in the air too much, hovering knockback wont affect you and on the ground 'grounded' should keep you safe think its been buffed a few times since test.
if you can i would take sprint/hurdle, health stamina, air sup, fly and hasten if you can fit it all in.

Hello, my ageing empath has reached another free respec, having gone though many forms and never being totaly happy i though i would see if i could get some help.
i have taken more travel powers that i normaly would, but i think they serve a purpose. Wanted recal friend early, so needed teleport, hover and air sup is to keep me relatively safe in PvP zones, they also deal with knockback and imobalisation, super speed was taken as its handy in pvp (i think) and didnt need much slotting (cant give much to whatever 49 power u pick)
any help with power choices whould be great and help with enhancements would be even better as i think ive over slotted some powers as i couldnt think where they would do best.

Ive been thinking about trying out a scrapper, wanted spines regen for concept reasons for quite a while but i got so bored of seeing them in RV i couldnt bring my self to do it.
I think i have decided on Katana or Broad Swoad/Invulnerabilty, just have a few questions
I will have 23% melee defence and 10.9% typed defence (with unyeiding) just wanted to check that the incoming attacks would use the higest defence e.g all melee atacks against my 23% and all ranged agaist the 10.9%.
my second question is are Katana and broadsword very different? they seem to have very simmilar attacks even down to the secondary effect? Im leaning towards broad sword as its got the look i want, and ive heard good things about head splitter.
Any Input would be greatly appreciated. -
Only had one give me any problems and im on the on the second from toughest difficulty, it was the 45+ snake EB, thats because it liked its toxic damage and a fair bit of DoT and me being energy diddnt
. plus the first time i sprinted into the room and about 10 bosses hatched
. Had to do it on heroic (still spawned as bosses) and take it slow. balistas are no problem i took 2 at once with a few ins
, Not boasting could have just been luck and overload

My Ice/Cold although only 10 (i think ahead) is to reduce incoming damage though slow efects, debuff defence and resistance so they fall faster to, while doing some nice damage, especialy with scourges. Quite an offensive support toon.
I7 if those AV changes go through corrupter debuffs will be invaluable especialy -regen ones. Plus we can buff powers like ice storm and sleet. which will be jolly nice
p.s i dont pvp often but if you build specificly for it or some pve build you can do very nicely -
I know when i was fighting 40+ longbow, i was being stunned alot (they had some insane mag on their grenades). For less than a second but it still ripped my toggles down

You shouldnt worry, Like alot of people have said u can hold most agro with gauntlet and your aura, a team would be crazy to kick a tank from the team just cos a few straggler get past you, the rest of the team should take the responsibility if they cant handle a few minions or a boss.
I did worse anyway, diddnt take mudpots till 22cos i diddnt think i could handle the end cost. held agro but it was alot more effort.

I can keep most agro with my aura and punch voke. so it can be done, and im sure there are tanks doing a great job without it. I love it though, as stone/ it helps deal with any mobility problems, and normaly i dont want to chase things anyway as the mobs can start to scater a bit. Its auto hit so in a tight spot u can rely on it. i want every posible tool to help me keep my team mates alive.
