Either way it seems that updating the NCSoft Password and City of Heroes Password, making sure they are both the same when updated, does seem to do the trick.

Aren't there only 2 "Collector's Edition" capes? One from the CoH CE (Cape of the Four Winds) and one from the CoV CE (cape w/ Arachnos symbol)?
They're both showing up for me on male characters. They're not selectable from level 1 like the capes purchased as part of special packs, but they're definitely there for me on male characters who have capes unlocked. -

I didn't have this problem with the NCSoft Launcher, but today I started having a new one...the Launcher won't come up when I try to start it after the first time I minimize it...once it gets into this "mode", the only way to get it to come back up is to pull up the Task Manager, kill the process, and start it up. It only started doing this today.

Actually, I'd advise against that. We're close enough to CoH:F now that I'd give it a few few days and see if it's available on the Paragon Store. The problem with getting it off of eBay is that you run the serious risk of being scammed--buying a copy of the game that has a code that's already used. I'm almost 100% sure that they'll provide some way to obtain the various "goody packs" that have in the past been available in the packaged editions on the Paragon Store.
I do a lot of shopping (and selling) on eBay, including games and other software, and I've never once been scammed by someone with a good and high feedback rating. If it's listed as new and sealed by a seller with a high feedback rating, it should be fine.

They've learned not to do a release on a Thursday before a holiday weekend. The last one was bad, so very bad. I'd guess two more weeks at the very least.
Issue 6's launch went relatively smoothly. The horrible one was Issue 2, and there was no associated holiday weekend involved, just an ordinary one. :P
And, as others have noted, all evidence points to today (a Thursday) being the original planned launch date of Freedom. Obviously, that's not going to be the case now. -

I've been noticing today that the Justice server has been really lagging all day. I've also noticed too that the buff bar below your HP/Endo has been disappearing/reappearing off and on all day. At one point I was farming with my tanker on the castle wall in cimerora and was noticing I had perma hasten (which i don't have normally) and the enemies I noticed were jumping all around and powers that I used would continue to have the line rotating around them even after i used them. I have also noticed too when going from one zone to the next that the loading times were a lot longer than usual and I never really have that problem at all.
Has anyone else been having the same issues? -

However, the beauty of the Freedom system is that if you only want a few pieces from a particular Super Booster, you can just buy those pieces. So if you don't think you're going to end up using most of a particular Super Booster, you'd be better off buying things a la carte. -
