Try to get on an itf thats a great way to get purples, or at least for me all but one of the purples that have dropped for me are from itf's

I did notice the difference when I started to play him.

For my part I love Blizzard after FS... watching all those bad guys falling down and trying to get up while seeing all those numbers roll off their heads is just fun to watch. Now granted its not really the most powerful in the game but it is for me

Black, I have been playing this game since June of 2004, I have more toons than I can name, came to the market about 6 months after Receipts became availalbe and to this day I only have one that "ONE" purple set in one of my 50's.

All my other toons have IO's or Gosh Darn me SO's and I play them just fine. I dont pvp and I have not trouble fighting any mobs of any size. My Tanks, (Which are Stoners) and Brutes (which again are Stoners) all have SO's and maybe a few HO's

All the shineys are nice but you dont need them to really enjoy the game

I have added an extra zero so many times it has now become somewhat of a sport. It sure has slowed down my key strokes, espcially on not so high level items. I do on the rare occasion get an extra zero thrown my way... Thank you Extra Zero Gods!!!

Wanted to say thanks to the build posters as well, I actually made an Ice/fire Blaster by mistake but deicided to keep her and am having some fun in the late teens but was unsure as to how to build her.

with the info provided it will make it a lot easier...

I run an ITF just about every night split between 2 very good brutes who always seem to put great teams together and I have had 2 purple drops in a single ITF about 3 times.

I got another drop last night to the amazement of the leader. To my knowledge he has not gotten a single drop and it drives him crazy lol

Gona say thanks to those that offered up advise to the OP, I also rolled out a firefire blaster and after 5 years was my first blaster of any kind and was sorta lost.

Gona use some of the advise here to keep her rolling
