Question about my slots
Try asking this in the Dominator Forum. I'm sure you will get lots of good answers.
Enjoy your day please.
I agree with Banshee about asking in the dom forum, but my guess is slot for damage, Acc, and recharge. I know on controllers the power already lasts long enough without slotting immob duration.

The 'Trap of the Hunter' Set for Immobolize has good set bonuses. With 4 pieces, you'll get +5% immob resist, +1.88% health increase, and +9% accuracy. The Recipes are usually dirt cheap and plentiful. The most expensive thing about them is the rare salvage needed.
So that leaves 2 slots for either straight Damage common IOs or Ranged Damage Set IOs like 'Devastation' (12% regen), 'Entropic Chaos' (10%) regen, or 'Thunder Strike' (2% recovery).
Or you can go the other way, with 4 'Thunderstrikes' or 'Devastations', then add in 1 or 2 common Immobolize IOs. But this will probably be much more expensive.
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.

My City Was Gone
Cycle time is 9 seconds. Base Immobilize duration is 22 seconds. There's absolutely no need to slot it to immobilize for longer. Slot it for damage.
Goodbye and thanks for all the fish.
I've moved on to Diablo 3, TopDoc-1304
Positron's Blast works alright in AoE immobs. If you need more rech, use the 6th slot for a recharge IO. My guess is by the time you finish with your set IOs, you won't need it, hence 5 slotting with posi (everything but dmg/range) is a good option.
Damage is my vote.. more Damage!!!
Unless you're going for set bonuses, damage procs are worth more damage (on average) than slotting plain damage enhancement. Each damage enhancement adds about 4 points of damage per target while the procs add an average of 14 points per. If you were aiming for the set of 5 Positron's Blasts, I'd throw in an Acc/End from one of the Immob sets, because Positron doesn't enhance these well enough.
If six-slotting, I'd slot the acc/dmg/end from Detonation and Positron's, the procs from Positron's and Trap of the Hunter, an Acc/End from Trap, and either a Acc/Dmg or a Dmg/End, depending on your global accuracy bonus.
I am a level 50 fire domminator. I am planning to purchase a slot for Fire Cages. Should i slot it for damage or Immobilize?
