No epic powers should stay unique to the side you came from. You start as hero you get Hero epics and vice versa. Thats how it should be.

How we'll unlock the epics is really a small issue when compared to what will happen to the Epic mission contacts.

Will we get a whole new set of contacts for the other side for our AT's? It would make sense, especially for a side switching VEAT. That would be something...

I also think we'll be getting a new Neutral epic, probably from a TF or something though as opposed to getting a lvl 50. Unless getting a lvl 50 neutral character is possible.

I have 2 schools of thought when it comes to getting a character to 50.

Make 2 or 3 toons that you really enjoy playing and force yourself to jump only between them. It helped keep my need for variety satisfied for a very long time.

Then I just forced myself to get a Brute to 50.

I don't see how this turnewd into an argument. Newbies who get PLed to 50 are a problem. I teamed with a Soldier of Arachnos the other day who didn't know what the black market was. That shouldn't happen.

The issue isn't taht newbies are bad, newbies are great when they want to learn the game. The problem is that we're getting more newbies and the number isn't going down, because so few of them are actually learning to play.

I don't think we'll see new melee sets for awhile. Melee AT's don't need new sets, they need proliferation. There are plenty of Melee sets they just need to be rebalanced to suit the other melee AT's. If they can do that the list of what each melee at had available would be rather long.

I jsut want to be able to add back stuff. I need my wings. Actually what I need is an arachnos styled raptor pack but since we're not getting back packs of any kind as costumes I'll have to live with the regualr raptor pack.

/Blades isn't a redraw issue. Pistols/Blades is a redraw issue.

Although a blades secondary for blasters would be cool.

Infact something like that for dominator controls. You know, chains and junk.

What makes you think that swapping side will give access to different powers?

Not saying no, just saying thats a lot of balancing work that is essentially unneeded.

While I'm not a huge fan of the concept of side switching, the way the massively rumor presents it sounds fantastic!

So. Not that i'm doubting this, i've seen enough people talking about this stuff that I'll take it. I'm just curious where the information came from. Is it all word of mouth? I've had a look and can't find where posi outright said we're getting a new primary.

Remove the wooden backing for round shields or give us the power to choose that or metal backing.

I just want the power to change the interior side of my shield. I have a concept for a battle armored Hero who has a shield and the image I have has a round shield. But unfortunately you can't sue that shield without the back having wooden panels. So give me the pwoer to get rid of those. Thanks.
