  1. FSC does not get rage. So you have FSC and Elec fences and ball lightning without rage or Footstomp, elec fences and ball lightning with rage. SS wins.
  2. And so far I am loving the Mind/Energy combo. Even at low levels you have the option for tons of control and damage now. If you get hit with 5 mobs, you can sleep one, hold another, confuse another toss another in the air and kill the last one while the other mez effects wear off.

    Either way, I completely agree. The changes require some reslotting, but there isn't a single combo now that is less viable now than it was before. And a great majority that are far more viable and fun.

  4. Could never get into doms before. I played a few and it just took too damn long to kill anything out of domination. After playing around on test I can hardly wait for I15 to go live so I can try out all the different combos.

    As far as those complaining about a lack of an attack chain, I have to wonder if you know you can put recharge reduction enhancements in your powers. Even at a low level on the Mind/Energy I rolled I almost always have at least 1 attack ready.

    Roll a brute and try to get an attack chain at level 10 without counting brawl. It is a whole lot easier on a dom.

    Now some of those that have had doms for a while will have to get used to the changes in damage and cast time. You will probably have to rethink your slotting and that is anoying. I will probably have to do the same thing if Castle ever gets around to nerfing Footstomp.
  5. Now that is more helpfull with actual numbers instead of just posting your basic idea. Yes that is quite good for S/L def. The regen is a bit low but probably not an issue with decent defense numbers. Without posting a build I would have no way to say how to improve it however.

  7. I would think so. As far as all boss farms yea I would have to put in a toss up between ss/fire and ss/shield. I think I would have to say fire would be the best though if made correctly.
  8. Happens even when there is no real danger to the mobs. As a level 2 in atlas I ran up to a group of level 5s. Before I could use my first attack, one of them took off.

    So, are you suggesting this be done with every power that offers KB now? How about powers that only offer KD now?

    I like the idea but it probably isn't as easy as people might think.

    Probably not every power, just the once that people tend to skip because it has KB. There are those that skip AoE attacks because of the scatter.

    Explosive arrow comes to mind. Crane kick is another. Some love the KB but others would rather see KU like KO Blow instead. I skpped shockwave on my Claws/WP because it is counter productive to RttC. If I could use KD instead of KB I would respec in a heartbeat.

    Those powers that have just KD currently would not change. I would also suggest not changing anything to KD that has a massive KB already built in. The option for Crane Kick to KU makes sence (at least in my little world it does) but most other high KB attacks like TKblast or Power Thrust would stay the same.
  13. Drop rates are terrible. With about the same number of kills I got 1 drop. You are doing everything right. I would say PL a MM as your target since they have the fewest HP and no resistance grant for being in a pvp zone.

    Empower and weaken are pretty much useless. Attack vitals is probably the best combo followed by sweep.
  18. The main complaints I have seen, that can actually be addressed, were that people would take certain powers if they had KD instead of KB. I believe this would fix that issue.

    There will always be people that complain about how others use their powers and that will never change. I would not even pretend to try and offer a solution to that problem.
  19. I posted this in another area but figured it would fit in the suggestion box a bit better.

    There are plenty of people that dislike knockback and would rather see the knockback turned into knockdown instead. There are also plety of people that like their knockback the way it is and would hate to see it changed.

    I have seen several suggestions so far but all of them favor one side or the other. I say why not please both sides.

    The devs have shown us that they can make powers mutually exclusive. Meaning if you have power A you cannot have power B. Example on Widdows you cannot take Follow up and Build Up on the same build.

    The devs have also shown us that you can have more than one power made available at a given level. Take for example any of the patron or epic pools that have 5 powers.

    What I am suggesting is taking powers like Handclap and making another version that has knockdown istead of knockback. The 2 different versions would not be able to be used on the same build.

    This could also be used on powers like shockwave for claws. I know I skipped that great power on my Claws / WP scrapper because I would rather keep mobs close to me to fuel RttC so I would like KD on that. Others who would rather have the better mitigation of KB would still be able to pick that power.

    The main reason I have not played MA is Crane Kick. If I could pick a Crane Kick option that had Knock up (Like KO Blow) instead of Knockback I would actually play one.

    There are plenty of other powers like Explosive arrow, M30 Grenade, Explosive blast and others that could use this as well. This way it would be up to the player to decide what they wanted. You could then make 2 builds, one for solo with KB and one on teams that had KD if you like.

  21. Not common. It is quite expensive to do but really a great challange if you have the time and inf to make a build that can do it.
  22. It has already been proven that the devs can make mutually exclusive attacks by preventing the combo of follow up and BU on widdows. And it has already been proven that you can add more than one power to be open at any given level with the new patron and epic pools that have 5 powers.

    Why not combine those 2 methods and make a KB power for things like handclap for those that wish to keep it or you can pick a handclap that has KD instead.

    Edit to add list of powers I would like to see with this option.

    SS - Handclap
    Claws - Shockwave
    MA - Crane Kick, could be KB or Knock Up
    Elec - Lightning Clap

    Also it would be nice to see similar changes to some blast sets as well. For those with AoE knockback have them either go off at chest level for knockback or foot level for knock up. You really would not have to change the graphic or animation, just the discription.

    Oh and 5 Thunderstrike sets, 5 Maco sets, 3 Blessing of the zypher and the Steadfast unique and CJ 3 slotted with Def IOs will get you to the soft cap for ranged damage.

    To overcome your average even level AV you need about 94 DPS. Granted you want alot more than that to keep the fight as short as possible but any blaster should have the damage to do the job.
