People use some toggles as part of their character in RP. A spirit for example may use Hover/Stealth to look suitably ghost-like. If a change as the one you were suggesting were to go through, then such a character would be unable to utilize Pocket D for RP.

Soooo you can skip the cut screen...great....then what...oh right yer...you have to wait for your team before doing anything cos they want to see the screen...errr so, whats the difference.

I'd prefer all powers to be banned really. greyed out like darkgob says.
Though powers like sprint, walk, ouro are fine, just everything else include ss, sj, tp mish tp, etc to be greyed out -

Nottingham could be a 2012. Maybe we could a poll for next year (tho the poll will be in 2011 so we have time to book etc) and see where people would love to have a meet n greet, idealy those who vote a place have to also inform us the place in that location in which we can meet up, then vote the fav out of the ones mentioned? -
It takes alot of time to revamp a zone and it takes alot of time to revamp a TF/SF, while they are looking at getting these done, sadly it is going to take time.

I say yes to this. contacts say the same, but the ability to do these any level would be nice for badge hunting on villain side

Thanks for the links folks, really helping a lot. the advice you've given is helping me plot some sort of ideal build atm, Hasten was definitely a power i was gonna take from the pool powers. think i tried making one in mids before but gave up as i didn't know where to start lol.

Hey. After years of playing this game, i've decided ill look into making a WS as it looks cool in concept and is the only villain like epic i haven't played lol
I'm not looking for build help exactly yet..But is there any powers that best to avoid / take? i'm looking to be human mostly though I'll have Dark nova (not yet sure if its to attack or just as a travel means.) I wont be taking dwarf though -

Given that it should be Vanguard co-ordinating these attacks in the first place, why not just open up the huge garage in the Vanguard base and hand everyone a free teleporter to it? Or make it part of the soon to be issued Vanguard pack or purchaseable with Vanguard merits.
Makes more sense than launching our offensive from a nightclub. -
We soo need a new war zone, just for these trials and future events, like another vanguard base..just a base nothing more

And as we don't know what's the currently situation of the future unlocks of the incarnate, thats a very big statement to make really...besides when this coming storm comes and future wars..what he thinks him and 7 mt8s can stop it..sorry (once again no offense meant here) but that's up him self a bit. Heroes and villains always team up (either villains together, heroes together or heroes and villains together when a greater evil is coming) This game is still story based (Ok be it, there's no comic about this now) but story non the less..We're not all Omega level yet and at times the powers of others are needed...Why yes i can see why he thinks it still, but what has he done then over all the years when new stuff comes out..i guess he never does a CoP raid or Hami cos that needs other people involved 2.
Either way i hope your friend finds reasoning, either through a short break(s) or some other method.
I on the other hand, while can be annoyed with PUG's just go about working for myself in the team and blaming the heroes for any and all failures.... -
While i can understand where your friend is coming from, i do however have to say..tough it up... As you said, you don't know why he gets so assy with PUG's.yer they can be terrible but also lots of fun..
Be it that, The new content is 50+ and designed to test the character a lot and from that evolve higher. the story is even a focal point in it... In time TF's/SF's will be brought out, trials like Lambda and BAF aren't going to replace anything in the future..but this is war and more people are needed then the already max 8 (so some of the team must be bug if you can fill with 4-6 as good friends.) This game cannot evolve if it's going to stick to 8 man teams forever.
No offense to the friend of yours, but lambda is only 16 players and BAF is only 24 players...your telling me he doesn't even have 16 friends after soo many years of playing that he can't even make a lambda out of it?? (no insulting him or anything it's just somewhat shocking, that and he can't even handle another 8-12 other players for whats not even over an hours work. -
wow didnt know it changed so if we do have a conflict our last toons name will become our global..better make sure i pick a toon just in case xd

Oh lord yes please...so many times people either don't listen. don't have league in their chat or for some reason- don't want to use them..naming those who have them will help out so many people...or at least give someone the glow like shivs (as mentioned above)
FYI...in my mind if people refuse to use them..kick..their not helping the team.. they might as well not be there -
the recipes actually have a link to the salvage needed to make that recipe..thats what i use all the time..does me just fine.

currently we have 3 zones- Cim, RWZ and Poc D thats co-op- so their fine..really..their intention isn't to do leagues..tho i find people gathering in poc d to go to war is funny as its a place to chill
i say..create a zone that's build to fight this war, and any threats to both sides in the future...including the rularuu and this coming storm (if it isn't already the rularuu that's coming)
a zone that's full out army like would be awesome..doesn't need anything but a store and maybe several war rooms/tables- big screens etc make it co-op ofc and i bet people would love it..ofc this zone could have an increased player to zone allowance..as this is war...we have up to omega at least to fight this war..we need something that's better then a rikti zone and a nightclub- chill out zone.
besides..with this war..more can be done with it as well..after the prat war i don't think that's it..hell even villains can then use it to plot against statesman again. -
i say leave the crash. but make it so it only kills half of your end or at least 75% of it. as nukes can be buffed etc they do need a downside tbh and killing 50-75% sounds fine, you can still continue on.
