  1. According to the official character info, there should be at least 25 years between the time Cole fought the Hamidon directly and the present. That would place it at 2020 at the earliest, and the timelines are supposed to be in sync. Even if we consider "the first blow against the Hamidon" to be some unidentified event prior to fighting the Hamidon itself, that would only push the end of the 25 years after 2020.

    Just another story fail our writers pushed out. It's nothing new.

  4. Hi, my name is The Devs. I let marketing and the investors boss me around and set arbitrary deadlines for my work. There's just so much I want to do, but can never find the time. I'd like to keep things like this from happening, but in the grand scheme of things, the majority of the players won't be affected because they're playing with those other things that draw in new customers. We can push this out without testing and never fix it, right? Just like all those text errors, storyline inconsistencies and incorrect power icons?

    With Rage working for you, you'll probably see better damage output with Melt Armor + Fire Ball. Mu is nice because it has three AoE powers in it, all of which drain Endurance. However, Ball Lightning and Electrifying Fences are somewhat small-area, so it can be difficult to make effective use of them. As a Tanker, though, it may not be a problem.

    You might consider using a second build to test out the powers and see how you like them.
  7. Yeah, I've got a lowbie Stalker that has revealed some very nice things about Assassin's Focus:

    1) The attack in and of itself is one of the stronger attacks, even without any Focus whatsoever.

    2) The attack can be used in combat because it has no interrupt while un-hidden. <3 <3 <3

    3) The critical either applies or it doesn't; you don't need 3 stacks to get the full damage. You only need 3 for a guaranteed crit.

    Converters got me the rest of the purples and PvPs I needed on mine. I'll be doing a video of that as well so the whole world can tell me how hard I suck as I quickly dispatch Elite Bosses with it. (-:

    Already got up to Sister Solaris's arc with it. Not looking forward to that last mission.

  15. The buff bar shows a special Assassin's Focus icon and it will indicate how many stacks you have.

    Assassin Strike will critical with even just 1 stack, but it will be stronger with 3.

    Every single one of my characters becomes Rogue until they're stashed in the closet after getting to 50. This is so I can join people on both sides. No amount of Villain Merits is going to stop me from doing that.

    And before anyone asks, no amount of Task Force Commander will ever get me to roll Hero. I always go Villain for the Mayhem Missions. Plus, it's nice talking to Arbiter Rein without any required tips.
