    Considering people already can get from 0-50 in 4 hours of an AE farm (using a 2xp booster), are we really worried about "other areas of the game" being broken by this proc?

    In my use case, I run ITFs and itrials and maybe other TFs like STF or Reichsman, and it really isn't making that much of an impact. That's how I play at 50+. So yes, it wouldn't matter that much to me if it is reduced in power as it's not making a big impact on my play. But I am automatically against the "nerf it now" crowd. Precisely because you are not considering the cases where the proc is not "overpowered."

    Just stick a target cap / to-hit check on the thing and be done.

    It's your vehemence to nerf anything new and interesting into oblivion that I decry.

    Hey thanks John I will try to check it out. Ageless is being used now mainly for +recovery as the chain runs me dry. It's not needed much more for the recharge.
    EDIT: quickly looking at your rebuild, it recovers 3.13/sec vs. passive drain (not attacking) of 1.1/sec (toggled off Glacial and Chilling). I don't think that's enough to sustain the chain? Also your rebuild does not seem to softcap E/N def?

    It runs exactly around Build Up, and every fifth rotation would look like this:

    BU > AS > CU > HB > SB > AS > SC > HB > SB > AS > CU > [Hasten] > HB > SB > [Ageless] > SC

    To snag Hasten and Ageless at their "best" recycle points.
    I changed up the slotting in SB to be Hami Acc/Dmg, Hami Acc/Dmg, Dmg IO, Lady Grey Negative, Mako Lethal, -RES Achilles.

    SB does not recharge fast enough to recharge at the end of the chain above (SB > AS > SC > SB). So I swapped HB & SB order in the chain.

    BU - AS - CU - SB - HB - AS - SC - etc.

    That seemed more like the order Ricodah was using. Also note that BU is actually recharging BEFORE the final SB (it recharges after the final SC). So should i hit it before the final SB ... and then still hit SB? Or Skip the final SB?

    Ricodah is running Assault which must be helping him. Best time running hybrid toggled was 2.01 so far. Woop 1.56 but i may have started the stopwatch a second or two late.

    Could the difference to Ricodahs' 1.44 be down to him running Assault and having 1 more damage proc in IS?

    Meh now I'm getting really frustrated -- just had 3 runs with hybrid toggled that took like 3.00 -3.30. WTF. I dont' know why I can't get consistent times.

  6. On first glace at the video, you have Assault (running?) which I don't have. And you also have more procs in Shin Breaker (2 damage procs and -RES) vs. 1 for me (just -RES) as well as 1 more damage proc (at least) in IB vs. my HB.

    I am amazed you +5'd Purples lol. ... I can't stand disabling them like that for selling etc.

    On the kismet issue / whiffing issue -- my combat log constantly shows 95% in last-chance-to-hit (I monitor it) ... I don't think it's an accuracy/to-hit thing, I think it's just RNG on the 5% chance to miss.

    Disagree. My incarnated Plant/Kin troller is a stronger toon. Fulcrum Shifted Carion Creepers proccing Reactive is stronger AOE, and his single-target is stronger due to FS. Even with Fire/Rad running Hot Feet and Choking Cloud and the KB-proc bonfire. Plant/Kin survives better and does more damage AOE and, honestly, seems about as good at control due to Seeds.

    For spits and giggles I did a run with T4 Assault Core Hybrid toggled on and got a time of 1:50 for 476 DPS. Core's damage buff is a pretty consistent +75% on the above chain (+101.5%, including the passive damage bonus and miscellaneous bonuses).
    I don't quite know how you are pwning my times, but maybe it is T4 Assault vs. T3 Assault. I posted an update on the scrapper pylon thread. Would be grateful for input. Going to run a few with Hybrid slotted (T3 Assault) but not toggled, for comparison with you here. Where are you using BU during the chain?

    Times with Hybrid T3 Assault slotted not toggled:

    2.55
    3.22 (lots of misses and bad BU timing)
    2.45 (would have been 2.40 if CU hadn't missed)
    3.40 (lots of misses)
    2.30

    if that's not crazy RNG variability, i can't figure it out.

    OK now I crafted T4 Assault (slotted, not toggled):
    3.06 (lots of misses, esp AS-CU ... man a couple of whiffs and DPS just goes to crap)
    3.00 (more misses, whiffs on AS, missed AS at the start....)
    2.55

    Again, no idea WTF is going on ... how are these times WORSE than T3 Assault?

    And then 2.04 with Hybrid T4 Core Assault toggled, which is 14 secs more than Ricodah's time

    My god this is frustrating. I blew like 3 hours pylon testing tonight

    Off the top of my head, Greater Devoured and Seers (which hover and don't get affected, it seems). Both of which whooped my butt several times on a recent UG. Heck UG has packs of mobs that are *just* Greater Devoureds.

    Again, hyperbole aside, in my experience running itrials this isn't really making that much of a difference on my fire/rad. In part because of all the immobs being thrown around (people keep AOE-immobing groups, which nullifies BF). In part because of the mobs that resist it.

    Gee OK maybe it is helping ppl level up on blasters or whatever but I'm not seeing that.

    Meh, so put a target cap if you are that concerned.

    I have this on my 50 incarnate Fire/Rad troller and seriously in my play it has not really made a big difference. Even on the escapee phase of the BAF -- you still get the Lts running right through it. And on trials like BAF or SLAM, ok maybe it helps you a little avoid the alpha from a group around crates or whatever, but with all the immobs being thrown around, the flopping stops almost immediately. And it does basically nothing to the AVs that didn't happen before.

    I seriously have not seen it be game breaking in any way for me. My Fire/Rad doesn't feel significantly overpowered on trials vs. 3 weeks ago -- even on frakking Mag farms. *shrug*

  12. There had been an idea proposed that for Doms the new snipe mechanics would work under Domination instead of being to-hit based like for other ATs.

    That sounded super cool.

  13. I'm not 100% certain but I believe this is my live build. Up for suggestions on how to tweak it to make it even better.

    Haven't really thought yet about where the new 2nd ATO set could/should go.

  17. It's a great idea. But I am stuck wondering if it is worth it, as it causes you to lose an APP with better AOE damage. I find the Fire APP pool and Fireball to be of far more use to me in standard content than ramping up my s-t damage further. On teams, I almost never find myself wishing I had more s-t damage ....

    I played around in MIDS and one issue may be recharge. I think the PPP snipes have 20 second recharge? So you'll have to have a pretty high recharge build to work them into a chain on a regular basis.

    Is TW/DA Viable?

    I built one to 50 softcapped against S/L and IO'd out. Felt very lacking on +4/+8 -- things like Arachnos and Carnies tore it apart. Rebuilt as TW/SR and felt much better. TW/ELA would be more awesome as well.
  21. I made an StJ/WP who is soft-capped to S/L/E/N and icapped with Shadow Meld.

    The downside is you sacrifice some attack chain dps to reach that survivability.

  22. Powerboosted Farsight and a Kismet +6% should have you above the 22% market on to-hit without having to use Tactics.

    Here's what I'm currently thinking about. Pulled slots out of slowed response as they were only there for Melee/AOE bonuses I can get from the snipe set. Dropped Time's Juncture and it seems really weak and not contributing to fights.

    This build uses T4 clarion to icap.
