Fire/time. Possible to softcap with perma chrono shift?
You can softcap positionals but it's expensive. With Clarion Radial T4 * PBU * FS you can increase your defense even further. I'm hitting 80 defense MRA on the Radial version of my defender build, so it should be possible for a corruptor version to hit at least near 60. The conversion to Fire Blast shouldn't hurt the build overly much. However, I don't have an i22 version for Fire, nor for a Corruptor.
Given the debuffs available, it's less critical to get the last few percent as you can debuff that instead of defend it, so long as the targets are inside your debuffs.
Search farther into the forums, there have been multiple disscussions. Also check the Defender Boards, you can adapt those builds to corruptor.

I'm also working on a fire/time. Here's the build I went with. It's got softcapped positionals and perma-hasten and Chrono Shift. It only uses one purple set too.

I have some unfortunate news firespray. The build you posted isn't actually softcapped. The issue comes up because of powerboost. PB is great and I would recommend it to any /Time or Time/. However when planning a build with it in mids you have to be careful. When you have PB toggled on, it will impact all of your defensive powers. This is fine for Farsight since as long as you cast it before PB wears off you keep the boosted defense. The problem comes up when it boosts the rest of your defenses, like combat jumping and weave. The build isn't a lot short of softcap, but it's a bit short. When using PB what you have to do is turn on PB, and look at Farsight to get it's Power Boosted value. Then you have to turn both PB and Farsight off.
For example the build you posted, without PB or Farsight, has 18.4/19.7/16.5 M/R/A defense. Then you take the PB value of Farsight, 22.14 and add it to those numbers, giving a final value of 40.54 melee, 41.84 ranged, and 38.64 AoE defense. It's close, but not quite softcapped. I know it's possible to have perma chronoshift and softcap, I thought I had a build I could post, but reviewing it, I realized that it's just a tad bit short of softcap as well. I think I had planned to come back to touch it up and forgot.

This is my build I think on live. I built up to T4 Clarion and I think I took Vigor over Musculature -- to get the endo reduction and heal boost. However i may have gone Cardiac. I found Fire burns endo even with the boosts in /Time. I didn't think musc was worth it given lower base damage on Corrs.
Lin's def has way higher resists but I hope a Corr makes up for it with Scourge and a higher damage Rain of Fire.
I went Soul for Power Boost plus Soul Drain.

I came back from a couple months away from the game and was kind of surprised to see this still on the first page, but I guess the corr forum moves a bit slow. The builds posted here gave me a great starting point and I tinkered something together for myself that should sit around 48% M/R/A with powerboosted farsight as well as having perma chronoshift and hasten.
With the upcoming changes to snipe shots I will likely change it around and take things at slightly different levels to end up with Fire Blast, Blaze and Blazing Bolt as my single target attacks since the build will easily hit the 22% needed for uninterruptable fast cast sniper shots. Currently I am at level 41 and climbing. The corr ATO set would be catalyzed eventually, but since I dont have the catalysts on the character now I wanted to see what it looked like without them. I also like the build since I have almost everything I need for it already, I think I might need to shop for a couple of touch of death pieces and two shield breaker pieces and maybe a couple of lotg 7.5s. I'm not sure how the end usage will be though. Running Maneuvers, Tactics, Weave and combat jumping it sits on a usage of .78/s with recovery of 3.21 (4.17 for 30 sec every click of chronoshift). With the hefty recharge in the build I think it could suck itself dry with blaze and blazing bolt, even with both having 60%+ end redux, and the fast rechaging aoes will be hard on the blue bar, but I'm not overly worried about it as it should have solid end coming back even solo, and on teams I'll have some support abilities to give me a bit of rest from the end burn of full attacking.
Thoughts? Critique? Will probably do a revamp soon to post the sniper build for the intended upcoming change, but the slotting should be identical (moving flare slotting to blazing bolt) to keep my set bonuses the same for defenses, so that shouldn't make any functional difference.
Incarnate abilities? Undecided. Likely intuition radial (Hold, Damage, Slow, Def debuff, Tohit debuff, Range), Ion judgement, Something Lore... and destiny I am just not sure. Clarion would be nice for some mez protection on things that might get through but Barrier would give a nice little boost for incarnate content. Hybrid... looks to just be a mess. I REALLY hate the way the implemented it and it will probably be a far far afterthought that I will only pick up for the 10% end redux passive or something.

Clarion + powerboost + farsight = icap levels of Defense. It's absurd on teams with more sources of +Def, and great solo.
Ok, Here's what I came up with for the sniper respec, pretty much the same just tinkered around with stuff. I could probably clean up the levels on things and such, but this gives me the framework. I thought about going with Sting of the Manticore in the snipe but I really don't need the recharge from it and the defenses are a little more well rounded by using Thunderstrike and it gives a very nice set of Acc, Dam, Rech and End redux.

Powerboosted Farsight and a Kismet +6% should have you above the 22% market on to-hit without having to use Tactics.
Here's what I'm currently thinking about. Pulled slots out of slowed response as they were only there for Melee/AOE bonuses I can get from the snipe set. Dropped Time's Juncture and it seems really weak and not contributing to fights.

So I started working on a fire/time over 2x xp weekend and I've not really seen much in teh way of discussion on this. So far at 34 I really like it a lot. I'm a huge fan of /time on MMs and liking it so far on the corruptor as well. I'm heading to villain side to grab the scorpion patron pool for powerboost and scorpion shield.
With powerboosted farsight and scorp shield I should be pretty close on s/l along with having a nice - to hit aura of course. I am not sure if I would be better off trying to softcap positionals, or just stick with s/l for the most part. If possible I would love to be able to build for perma chronoshift and softcapped positionals, but I'm just not familiar enough with the build yet to know if that's reasonable. I haven't seen a whole lot of discussion around on it and would love to know if someone has one, or a build I could peruse or anything of the sort.
