    yeh, thanks. Not sure I totally grok all your choices. I might see the Decimation slotting in Life Drain as worth it to pick up some recharge (or Apoc), good idea.

    Isn't intuition a pretty good alpha choice for an Earth dom?

    I'm not in love with Spring Attack but I wanted a 1-2 punch for eating spawns after their controlled -- Engulfing, Spring, Engulfing (1-2-3).

    It's not visible in MIDS that Sleet is worth slotting for damage?

    Here's the updated build. I don't love the 4 KC's in Smite - they hurt its recharge too much, and take away the proccy goodness. Open to ideas on how to maintain softcap S/L without sacrificing much else.

    Took the two damage procs out of Fossilize -- figured I had enough ST damage with the attacks. One went into CJ to reach softcap. Other slotted the KD IO into Sleet - anyone tried that?

    You need AS to recharge in SS's animation time. You can see it in MIDS.

    You might be willing to live with a small gap (0.1 seconds) if it helps DPS by taking Musculature.

    I cranked out this guy a bit over 2xp weekend. I think I will sub out Hoarfrost (make it lvl 49 with 1 slot Health/Recharge) and instead put Frozen Armor in, along with Tough/Weave and Kinetic Combats to softcap S/L. Might be better for melee range survival.

    Anyone have any other tips?

    Will post an updated build later.

    I forget most of my statistics. Isn't the chance of it firing at least once in SB equal to (1-(60%*60%))? Or 64%. Where as the probability of both SB's triggering the proc = 60%*60% = 36%.

    So... let's assume 100 pts proc damage .... I can't quite calc expected value because I don't know how to account for the chance of both occuring ...Someone smarter than me probably can. The following expected values are probably wrong

    EXPECTED VALUES

    SB (2 SB's per attack chain):
    Both procs: 36%*100*2 = 72 pts
    At least one proc: 64%*100 = 64 pts

    CU (1 CUper attack chain):
    90%*100 = 90pts

    Your point is that anim time for in-combat assasin is 1.188? Dang. Not sure how I missed that.

    Well now I'm stumped. The best I can get Ablating down to using Agility is 1.46 ... and like you note with Ageless and musc its not that far off at 1.5-1.55 .... so there is going to be 0.4 sec gap I guess. I don't remember people talking about that gap, maybe it's not so bad.

    I was coming from the Scrapper pov of just getting Ablating to recharge in SS's time .. given Blinding Feint I guess recharged in the chain's time ... forgot AS was different
  8. Speaking of ELA builds I always liked my Staff/ELA ... softcaped S/L def and enough energy resist to not worry about softcapped E haha.

    I may have slotted Panacea in place of DW in Energize. I know I could put a pet and/or Waterspout in it, I just went for extra survivability via Shadow Meld which has been great for trials like DD, MoM, TPN etc.

    Is the only way to get Cap Buster to kill the 330 redcaps? Paragon Wiki not totally clear. I thought you could get it just completing the Snaptooth (DJ Zero) mission one time?

    It's looking like i have to set Snaptooth to +8 and run it several times.

    DB/EA

    - icapped (58%+) to S/L/E
    - chain of Ablating-SS-Ablating-AS
    - Waterspout and pet for MOAR DMG
    - Musculature for MOAR DMG
    - Ageless to handle endurance issues

    Recharge: Hasten will be perma with Ageless. Issue: 1.55 recharge on Ablating vs. 1.452 cast type for Sweeping (i.e., 0.1 sec gap) ... An Agility build avoids the gap (0.008 sec) but loses the damage increase from Musc.

    Placate is there for Empower combo when Ablating misses in the BU-AS-Ablating (sweep combo).

    Cons: Lethal damage is teh suk. Psi hole.

  15. Ricodah has a neat idea of using perma-buildup from CS crits to run a chain including the new i24 Moonbeam. But his latest post suggests he is a bit disappointed in reality meeting the theory.

    The chains I've seen usually start BU-CS (out of hide) so that the crit from CS recharges BU before you launch into your chain.

I hit a wall trying to figure out how you can keep BU up enough to have Moonbeam always ready ... it seemed like there would be one run through of the chain where MB wasn't fast cast, every other go or so? Maybe that is where the new Stalker ATO proc can make a difference.

    Anyway it's a killer idea. Let us know how it goes.
  19. SS is really only considered strong because of the effect Rage has on non-SS powers such as Burn, Blazing Aura, and Gloom. Your "SS chain" consists of 4 attacks, 3 of which are non-SS (Gloom/Burn/Gloom).

    TW's successes on pylons have come primarily from the primary itself (though perhaps some have run TW/Fire and used Burn, and some have run TW/ELA and used lightning field). It's not really a fair comparison primary to primary.

    My TW/SR Brute was getting really great pylon DPS due to stacking -RES, procs, and insane recharge (thank you 20% quickness) -- all from the primary itself. You couldn't do that with SS. You could do it with StJ and/or DB and maybe KM and, of course, if you are Night Widow using Shatter Armor.
  20. Here's the Musculature version.

    By the way Placate is in both builds only for the Empower combo (20% dmg for 20 secs?) if Ablating misses after BU-AS-Ablating (Placate)....

    I put the -RES achilles into waterspout (instead of the anti-KD/KB IO) because I believe come I24 having the Achilles in Ablating will not be as useful due to PPM recharge constraints. Probably sub it out for a damage proc and/or the stalker Build Up proc (if that doesn't go into AS in place of the Mako dmg).

    Anyway, in this build Ablating has 1.55 recharge time (vs. Sweeping's 1.452 activation time), so the 0.1 second lag I mentioned above. With Ageless running at least for 30-40 seconds it should be relatvely gap free. The question is whether the rest of the time it will be super annoying (woop-woop / power not ready) relative to the Agility build above. But Musc probably increases the DPS significantly (also of waterspout/pets/Judgment/Lore).

    FYI, Hasten has 1 slot and appears not to recharge in under 120. But I believe it will with Ageless running.

    Shrug. Any other feedback?

    Mindless Speculation -- remove the 100% recharge of build up on a crit to a % chance to recharge build up. Bearing in mind the upcoming stalker ATO proc that recharges build up as well, and the fact that they may not want KM stalkers to utilize insta-snipe much more than other sets..... discuss!!!

And I really can't tell which will be better for dps and my sanity. (The gap with Musculature will be less during the first 30-60 secods of Ageless, but definitely 0.1 after that).
