Thanks! I just assumed the First Ward missions were not in Ouroboros. I think I got my holiday weekend planned now.

Are the Praetoria ones there as well? I would check myself but at work right now.

I was trying to figure out what was giving me such a hard time. I have 50% Psi resistance and 17.6% Psi defense. I carry lots of medium Purple inspirations, and use them generously. That puts me at 43.85% Psi defense (and ranged/melee are both over 45% then, for any attacks so typed).

I'd still get toasted. So, I dropped down to +2x2 and got through the missions.

Now, I finally know what caused me the issues. It's a buff cast by one of the Lieutenants (Conduit) called Psychic Battery. Here's it's info on City of Data:

    http://tomax.cohtitan.com/data/power...sychic_Battery

Notice it has a damage buff (approx. +25%), but that's not the issue. It has +40% To-Hit. The AoE is 40 feet. It buffs everything in the spawn by +40% To-Hit, possibly even adjacent spawns. Oh, and in a decent sized spawn, you can have 2 Conduits.

There are also Confuse and Fear effects in the group, which is annoying but Break Frees work wonders (for those of us without fear/confuse protection).

So, if you have issues with these, remember that the Conduit(s) must die, die, die!
Sorry for being off subject, but you can do the First Ward arcs on a level 50?
  3. Lose the fog, you can do better to give a "spooky" vibe like we saw with the Haunted House mission. The Fog effect was cheap. Perhaps use the Fog as a zone event in any zone. Some sort of super powered serial killer.

Total agreement. There needs to be more level 50 material.
  5. I hope it is very hard. Should also require Alpha Slot like the Tin Mage and Apex TFs.

No reason, I thought his last video was DA/DM but I guess I was incorrect.

I expect it to be based around Praetoria yet again, a place I couldn't care less about if it got wiped out by a Shivan meteor strike.

I expect it to use a new currency of Loner Merits which will need to be exchanged for Incarnate components for an exorbitant fee as punishment for us daring to dislike the Devs' new obsession with Trials.

I expect absolutely no plot progression apart from further railroading of my characters and their motives.

EDIT: (And of course, forgot about this one) I expect it to be entirely alignment neutral i.e. 'heroic' so that villains once again have to pretend to be heroes in order to use the system. Contacts will cite the usual 'greater threat' baloney that's been way overused as of late.

I wish I could have a more positive expectation but the fact this path wasn't considered from the outset and the ridiculous currencies, conversions and grind that is the Incarnate 'path' lead me to believe that the Devs barely grasp the desires of their playerbase anymore or any of the things that makes this MMO a success. If I'm wrong, I will happily eat my hat.
    Sounds all positive to me.
  8. I don't like DA. I suppose it is thematic, but I will not argue that is can be quite powerful. I may have missed it but why did you go claws over DM? If I recall correctly, your tanker was DA/DM.
  9. Just give us back Base Raids!!
  10. Is there anyone to put a ranged attack in? Please correct me if I am wrong, but all the MM pets now have at least one range attack. I suppose the wolves could have a Spring Attack/Shield Charge type power?
  11. If they made these cosmetic pets rewards for doing certain things in-game (badges or task forces) instead of purchases I think people would find them alot more valuable.
  12. I like it but don't care for the boomerang idea. I would think a Hunting Rifle would be more appropriate and easier to port over some of the Assault Rifle attacks for it.
  13. Citadel or Numina because I hate their boring Task Forces and it would make it easy to rework them with those tow dead. Numina TF could become the Infernal TF.

Edit: My mistake, the question is who I don't want to die. I would go with Positron. I really like Positron.
  14. I was a little disappointed to lose but Automobile's macros were just great so good job. Represent us well against the other servers.
  15. Resilent Alpha could potentially help with Will Power tankers who have a pretty weak taunt aura. The +resist would be nice for WP tankers who are already at or near the defense soft cap. Outside of that I can see any real uses.
  16. I liked it alot. It recharges quick enough that is pretty easy to make permanent. It also has a pretty good sized radius that it effects.

I'm back! (Sort of....my life is crazy, but I can at least log on again!)

You may all remember me leaving due to my computer blowing up and the recession punching me square in the face sometime around February 2009....I had to leave due to dire financial strains....due in part from the recession and in part from being in college.

Well, i've somewhat recovered. Graduated from college....working full time....and, while I don't have a computer of my own yet....I'm able to use my roommate's. (Which it seriously chugs along at the lowest settings >.< )

So, i'm back.....and since I've been gone....I see we now have incarnates, a holodeck, VIP status, morality choices....another world to start and explore in....re-vamped character creations....villians on hero side, heroes on villian side and cats sleeping with dogs! I LEAVE THIS GAME FOR 2.5 YEARS AND Y'ALL LET OUR WORLD TURN UPSIDE DOWN??! =D

(Are the weekly MoSTFs still going on? Have they turned into weekly "Masters of" runs for any and all TFs? (As I predicted when I heard the news?) )

Oh my, so much to process....I've been taking it slow. I'm still woozy over the fact that I need to respec all my characters to get the fitness line to become innate =D New powers for True Shot.....mmmmm.

Well, at least I can roll up a new guy and start in Galaxy City and get my head wrapped around the new world order.....

    Mr. True Shot.
Welcome back! I remember you. Pretty much the weekly MoSTF have been replaced with Incarnate Trials. MoSTF is trivial now with Incarnate powers.
  18. Darn, I came here thinking this was a support group for players that have all the Lore Pets unlocked.

In Paragon City I have many contacts and can do many various things from TF's to normal arcs. In Praetoria I can do one thing - missions chosen for me.

The entire Zone is completely developed wrong. It should have been the Incarnate playground where you can enter and find that in this dimension the Powers of the Well are possible to acquire.

Then you run the Trials to unlock each aspect,.
Then you follow my earlier rules on how to progress with Incarnates.
Then if you return to Paragon you have no extra powers. This makes people WANT to head to Praetoria and start basically a new game.

It is not too late - it would be very easy to revamp Praetoria to become exactly this - look Galaxy City was destroyed and now you could say Cole's use of the Well's power has altered the balance of the Planes. Now you not only fight to save the planet but to save the very fabric of time.

Thiis would be fairly straight forward to convert and in a word - FUN.
That sounds great but do you realize the amount of ******** and moaning that would go on from many of the same people in this thread about an entire zone's worth of content that they can not access because they choose not to take part in the Incarnate Trials? It would be beyond epic. Then if you make it accessible to non-incarnates then what would be the point of the zone?

So pretty much, the developers have to make all content accessible to everyone.
  20. I did the villain version last night on my Vigilante and it is by far my favorite of the 3 so far. Great job! Now I need to do the Hero version.

    Convert a DFBer!

DFB offers more XP per time invested than Posi and Synapse. Other than that great story.
  22. I don't know what game some of you were playing, but long before incarnate system was introduced people have been steamrolling through all the content. This is nothing new it is just easier to obtain with the casual player. In the past you had to be hard core about IOs and making your toon the best it could be.
