This is what I used for my Light Blast/Control Character. I think it was a perfect fit. Unfortunately you can not tint Kheldian powers (or did that change?)

Like difficulty settings, or merit vendors.

Existing stores in the game, or the trainers, could have handled these merits as well. Or just like we can craft and convert Incarnate stuff within the UI we could have done the same with merits and alignment merits. But no, we get a new npc which we have to go talk to whenever we want to change a setting that could just as well have been reached through the regular options.

Just like the difficulty setting npcs - why not put the difficulty settings right there in the mission menu? Why do we have to do an immersion-breaking runaround and go talk to some impersonal npc to change what is a meta-game setting? I will never understand it and I will probably never stop complaining because it seems like the devs will never stop adding more of these meta-npcs to the game.
I agree. Kind of kills the immersion in the game to talk to a Seagull (or any NPC) to turn off some external buffs.
  3. If I remember correctly, the one in that screenshot is even smaller than the one in the TF.
  4. Ghost Widow used to role-play with people as well. Here is a screenshot from a wedding ceremony I officiated in the Rogue Isles that she crashed.

Sounds like a cool concept. I am a big fan of the Sons of Anarchy series. Too bad we don't have motorcycles in-game.

  6. THE PARAGONIAN KNIGHTS est. January 2005, relaunched May 2011

The Knights are now looking for brave heroes of all levels, archetypes and experience. We are active in all aspects of the game and have been nominated by the players of City of Heroes across all servers as one of the Favorite Supergroups of 2006! The Knights pride themselves with having a mature and fun group with some of the most accomplished players in the game.

    What we have to offer…
    • Teaming at all hours: The Knights are lucky to have a extremely large player base of about 250+ players. Within those numbers are players from around the world and many different time zones. This opens up the opportunity for players to find teams at odd times. Not just any team, but highly effective and fun Knight Teams!
    • Daily Task/Strike Forces and Trials: The Knights have a great staff of leadership that is constantly checking with the membership to see what special task forces need to be posted on the calendar. It is not unusual on a weekend to see a half dozen or more TFs run in a day. If you need a specific task force it is highly likely it will done. Many of the Knights have done these so many times they can be completed in record time and efficiency.
    • Beyond the Game: The Knights are much more than your average super group, they are a network of people from all walks of life…they are a community. To be a Knight is to be a member of a fellowship of people who carry on a virtual friendship that often times extends beyond the confines of the internet. The Knights have banded together to purchase commissioned artwork and produce in-game movies among other things. Many friendships have been built that will only increase well beyond City of Heroes

    How to Apply…

To apply to be a Knight you need to first visit www.paragonianknights.com. Take the time to check out what all the site has to offer. Many of your questions about the Knights can be answered there. After you have decided that you indeed do want to be part of the Knights, click “Join Paragonian Knights” at the top of the screen and answer the couple short questions. This will set you up with a Guild Portal account. Finally, post a application on the forums using the format provided. Be as in-depth as you desire. After that is done one of the officers will post and provide you with contact info..

The Paragonian Knights have an excellent and extremely active website and forums. We have hosted over 1,000 events to date. If our group interests you please visit our site at www.paragonianknights.com or send me a private message here or at graeknight@gmail.com and I can fill you in more.

The Knights are all about fun and getting to know each other better. Alot of the Knights have been together since their early days with CoH and have built long lasting friendships.

  7. Hey LadyP, hit me up in-game or e-mail me. I think I have something that may be mutually beneficial.
  8. Hopefully we will see more backpack options now. Would be nice to have another "back" option.
  9. I am fairly certain you can not put the Admin channel on ignore. Besides, it was only a few hours for one day.

    The Build Thread

Anyone have a current BS/Inv build they can post? I have just returned after an extended break and really need to respec mine. I have billions of inf. to play with so IO sets are not an issue. Thanks for any help!
  13. Now that we are waist deep in Incarnate power, does the same Hamidon strategy apply? Also, are Hami (Hero) Raids still occurring on a regular basis?

I am eager to try Apex after reading about it but I rarely see pick up groups forming for it.

She is doing great. She isn't ready to come back to CoH though. She is into doing P90X on her free time, lol.

It is an old screenshot but the look is the same.
  18. Wow, it has been 7 years? I remember the day the Cape first started. I wonder if we can convince some of the founders to show up for the event one night. Now that would be something.
  19. Hey Lady J! I just came back myself.
  20. Nice to see you are still around Kant! I just started doing Tip missions as well. They are very well done but I have not seen alot of variety with them. It seems like I get the same seven or so missions every time. Of course I am staying Hero so that may affect that.
  21. I was convinced by a friend that I needed to resub and check out the changes to the game and I have to say after a full week of playing my level 50 tank, I love the changes. I left the game right before Going Rogue went live so everything from that point on is brand new to me. I have really enjoyed the two trials and the one new TF I did (Sutter). It has also been great seeing some faces running around that I recognize. I also got to give Weather King my thanks for helping me understand the Lambda Trial on my first run. So much organized chaos.

Anyone else come back after an extended break?
  22. Got to play with Sydreal both in Tempestria and the Paragonian Knights. I am sad to hear this. Thank you for passing along the news Angel.
