Can't snatch the pebble if it's been reduced to dust, Alpha.

I am a bit disappointed by the lack of bear parts. Part of me was looking forward to making a super strength character and actually having a reason to take Hand Clap.

With several sites getting info about the upcoming animal booster, as well as a trailer for the pack being released on youtube, I thought it'd be opportune to see if there'd be any support for this QoL feature. I mean, are all our animal characters supposed to just either wear knee-length tight shorts if we want animal legs and feet, or very human-looking shoes if we want to wear something other than knee-length tight shorts?
I admit that I don't know if there are clipping issues with skirts/kilts and the animal/monstrous legs that have kept this from happening, or if it's just been a matter of required development resources exceeding the need for this feature. But with all the work that's apparently gone into the animal booster, I for one feels that the time is right to give those players who wish to create animal/monstrous characters something else to wear other than knee-length, tight shorts while retaining the appropriate animal/monstrous legs and feet. -
I'd LOVE to use the minotaur parts to make a Scottish Angus minotaur, but only humanoid lower bodies get an option for kilts.
*Sigh* -
Quote:Unfortunately, this. There's really no place in the interface where you can see your own (+1). Go to Peregrine Island and check if the level 50 minions con blue, that's how you'll know it's working.
Either check level 50 mobs, or summon pets if you have any; their level should also include a "+1". -
To add a contrasting experience, I ran and completed an LRSF with no problems and crafted a Cardiac rare. Bopped around for a bit, ran a +0/x8 paper mission, then spent some time at the market. No mapservers, no lagging, no crashing.
So if something related to the Alpha rares IS causing problems, it's certainly not a universal issue. -
Maintenance to turn off double XP and the holiday event.

Quote:Not entirely true. You can't do anything though. You can do your side's content or go to the other side and try to find someone to tag along with because you're still locked out of doing any content yourself.
If you're a "tourist", you can get the radio/newspaper contacts for the side you visit and run those missions plus Safeguard or Mayhem missions, whichever is applicable. you can also earn contacts by doing those, though you won't be able to speak to them until you fully switch sides. Also, many of the tip missions for Vigilantes in the Isles and Rogues in Paragon are now more fitting thematically for the two gray alignments.
That said, Vigilantes and Rogues are designed to really just be middle points on a player's way to fully switching the alignment of a character. For most in-game systems where alignment still matters, they're considered to be their starting alignments. They have, more or less, just been given extended travel capabilities. As such, I don't think there SHOULD be parity between them and the two original alignments in terms of rewards and contacts. And I say this as someone who's main character is and will likely always be a Rogue. -
It's been stated almost from the start that the person in the suit will be a Spider-Man supporting character. The two most likely candidates are Flash Thompson and Jon Jameson.

Because I haven't seen it mentioned in this thread, I'd like to point out that each of Trapdoor's bifurcations also grants him 10% damage resistance. So if you get up to four or five simultaneous bifurcations, then it becomes a very steep uphill battle.

Maybe they've finally found a way to make the furry shoulders from CoV beta not clip so badly. >.>

A popular theory is that Flash Thompson is the guy in the suit. It wouldn't be entirely inappropriate, as Flash is a long-time Spidey character, and is now written as an Iraq war veteran that can't walk. Gaining the symbiote would (I guess) give him back use of his legs, and allow him to continue to serve his country. Plus, as much as I dig Venom - and I really dig Venom - it would be interesting to see the character as something other than just a hulking black mass of teeth and drool that eats brains.

Quote:Since I'm not in the US and therefore cannot watch Hulu, is that the biopic with Michael Chiklis as Curly? If it is, then it's vastly superior to whatever else Hollywood could brew up, even if it altered some of the events.

That's it, I'm flying to Mountain View and duct taping every door, window, and exterior vent shut to keep any more of you from escaping!
Eric/Ocho, it's been great having you as one of our community reps. I know that community folks tend to frequently move onward or upward in the video game industry; I sincerely hope it's the latter in your case. Hell, I hope you're moving upward even if it's not in the video game industry. -
I say FEH to all this Statesman/Tremblor slash yaoi!
