Quote:I think that would be more suitable as a game set during, or right after, the Hamidon WarsSuper powered folks in a time where the world has been completely demolished by heroes and villains manipulating forces bebyond their control, eventually destroying everything we know.
The world would be dark, depressive wastes with old Paragon building just being a sheltered husk of what it was once.
Trading houses would be replaced with bartering, and survival aspects would be the key.
Player drawn and governed shanty towns would littler the maps, each trying to fend for themselves.
Mutants, Giant Robots who survived the cluncky gritty new world would rampage. Villains would abound trying to hoard resources for survival, and heroes and villains would have the chance to PVP in deginated war zones, not for points, but to keep their little shanty towns from crumbling and their people from starving...or villain side to gain a threshold of power.

It could be both - like the Lambda Trial has us outside and inside, so we might have to go into the control area of the reactors to shut them down, or even fight Anti-Matter inside, once we've fought through his Clockwork on the outside.

Quote:The Anti-Matter Trial will use the reactors on the island in Neutropolis - but you might fund the Hamidon Trial more to your likingSetting goes along way in setting the tone of an encounter, I wish the devs would realize this and go back to the days of old when designing some of the new trials.

Quote:What about people who don't find it any of those things?I've said it before and I'll say it again. It was deliberately made confusing, slow and tedious.

I hadn't heard they'd scrapped the Anti-Matter and Hamidon Trials?Quote:The devs in one fell swoop (or swell foop) have managed to create end game content that will result in never needing to create end game content again. -

I like the cutscenes - seeing villains moustache twirling before a massive beat down is always funny

It would be pretty weird havng the little info windows as you enter a mission use the word "I" instead of "you" - it's just meant to set the scene, not be an actual conversation, like when we talk to NPCs

The minimum time for a shower is 10 minutes

But up until I20, it was only morality that changed, rather than gender - so this opens up loads of funny possibilities in the future

I'm not sure there's going to be an I20.5 - I19:5 was just done to launch the WSTs and add the last 2 tiers of the Alpha slot - I20's already given us 4 complete slots, so there's not really anything left over that needs finishing off, unlike I19 that gave us only half the Alpha slot.

There's going to be some downtime tomorrow for a hotfix of some kind.
