Desdemona's reaction to the valentine from the Dark Watcher is also amusing

Welcome home
As you've been awy for 2 years, you might have missed the new Incanrate endgame system that's been added to the game - it allows palyers to progress past 50 with the use of level shifts - currently, there are 3 available level shifts, which make players close to 53. -

Quote:I'd like to see Steel Canyon remade as a kind of "science city" - like it'd be the heart of the research and tech industy in Paragon City, and all the major science based corporations and institutes would have their main offices there.Atlas looks much better, beautiful work. Perhaps though after the work that has been the DA redux we could turn our attention back to Steel Canyon for a comprehensive street-plan redesign?, get some of that Times Square ambience going on that has been requested for so long?
The architecture would have a bit of futuristic feel to it, like the area around Neuron's Tower in Neutropolis, with all the neon stuff. -
He does - after the Underground Trial, there's a text option to tell him that we're planning to use TPN to broadcast the truth about Tyrant to Praetoria - but he just says that it'll be a waste of time, without actually telling us that he knows what Mother Mayhem is planning.

Quote:An alternative would be single player housing - maybe free to VIPs, with various upgrades that would be purchasbale from the market.Thats cool, I wish you guys could find a magic bullet for the bases though. While I like messing with the base editor, I wouldn't mind if you guys scrapped it all together and came up with something completely new that allowed bases to be intergal to the game.
these would become the new base system, while the old base system could remain for larger SGs.
Personal player housing would give moremplayers a chance to invest in their own living space, rather than being part of an SG that has only 1 or 2 of its memebrs who design the base.
It'd also open up a new cash stream from cosmetic items to enhance the basic player living spaces, and give non-VIPs a purchasable alternative to SGs.
The only major downside could be the drain on server resources, as it'd create a lot of extra instances. -
Related to this, I like the way that they've started using some base items on missions maps, like in the new Atlas content and the SSAs - I think that it's a good way to integrate the look of bases into the wider game world.

Quote:If they get power from Wells, and Wells get their power from each species, why wouldn't they consume the species along with the Well? Now I know little of how things get developed behind the scenes but from the descriptions I read compared to what the Coming Storm is now being built up into, the Battalion doesn't sound anywhere near as interesting. I think the threat of being utterly consumed just sounds more thrilling than "Oh no, they're going to eat our Well!"

Quote:Rularuu is involved in the coming storm, but the Battalion are the main threat - the new DA arcs will tell you moreNah... it's Rularuu. Stormwatcher badge confirms it.

I think that's because of the way the high heels work in this game - they don't actually lift our heels, they just remove the bottom the the shin and replace it with a foot with a heel, so the extra long shins are probably meant to allow for losing the end to heels.

Also, I don't get what the problem is here - what's wrong with personal contact from a GM?

The thread title seems to have changed

Quote:It's the Skyway City part that he didn't like - there's nothing in the Apex TF that he'd object too.Hm, good point. I suppose it probably was a fault on Tyrant's part. After all, he still does see Primal Earth as a lawless world in need of order.
Though, I will dispute that the invasion in the Apex Taskforce, as is the methodology of a lot of what has happened wasn't intended by Tyrant, as explained here
Really, while Tyrant's decision to invade wasn't the best of plans, I think it was his employment policy that did him in. Seriously, who would hire half the people he put in power?
And it's not so much his employment policy that's at fault - it's his enslaving the multiverse policy that's gotten him into trouble. -
There's an exploration badge in the Shadow Shard that mentions a coming storm - and the new DA content also contains some more info on Rularuu, who's involved with the coming storm, but isn't the actual storm itself.

Quote:So the army of War Walkers Tyrant is building in the 1-20 GR content to crush all superpowered opposition on Primal Earth as well as the Resistance are just diplomatic envoys? Is the whole invasion shown in the Admoral Sutter, Apex and Tin Mage TFs all just a big misunderstanding on our part about the loyalists' peaceful intentions?I started to think, then, that the War with Praetoria wasn't exactly the best of things. Given most circumstances, the entire situation could have been solved diplomatically if it had the chance. Really, the only reason why we were going to war is because Prometheus flat out told us that Cole was evil and had to be stopped, only telling us the 'true' story when we were too far into the conflict to stop and make negotiations.

The Maria Jenkins arc will have to be updated in I23 to reflect the new post-Statesman world - so they could add some Praetorian text options then.

Isn't this in the wrong section?
