Yeah, I was there this evening - AP33 is alive and kicking.

Quote:That's not a fact until it happens - NCSoft made a statement that they intend to close the game down by Novemebr 30th - the players have made statements that they intend to stop the shut down - so we don't know which statement will turn out to be true yet.
-
Quote:Which is why we also need to maintain the pressure - it's quite possible that NCSoft were expecting only a few days of nerdraging that would soon die down - so we need to make sure that any plans they had for just toughing out the player response to the closure are wrecked by constant pressure on them from all angles. That's why TonyV has been busting his *** to get the word out quickly. That kind of publicity puts pressure on the NCSoft execs to make a definitive statement on whether or not the IP can be sold. Like you said, the longer we wait, the more likely we will lose Paragon Studios to diaspora.

Quote:They're just aiming for a certain type of customer.I can summon a cute cat to beat the snot out of my opponents but to do so I have to roll as an all-female race of bunnycatgirls that are supposedly over 18 but look like they're 6 years old and wearing little more than some dentalfloss and a few bits of lace.
I am all for sending kittens to slaughter my foes but this game is crap. -
95%, in fact - but, like every other MMO publisher, they're looking at Blizzard and wondering how they manage to have large market shares in the West and the East.
-
Don't give up just yet - and no matter what happens, the CoH community will continue in some way, even if it means attempting to create a player-run and developed online sueprhero experience.

There's nothing wrong with being emotional about something that you love.

There must be at least 1 dev lurking in AP 33 - maybe more, if this hapepned over a longer period of time.

I'm questioning their design sense if they tie open world PvP flagging to your costumes.

We're not at the war stage yet - players should continue doing what they've been doing so far to get NCSoft to listen to our reasonable request that they sell off the game rather than close it.
Doing anything else right now could be quite damaging. -
I don't do demo editing, but I'll listen to this for the voice.

I've been spreading this on Facebook.
