Unless I hear otherwise by monday, it'll be set for saturday
(so there'll be less "I need to log because of work in the morning" things to worry about, and more time for fun!) -
Noooo!!!!
Hide your villains guys and girls, Reb's come to town!
*runing to hide my villains* -
heh, Even I am plotting to rui.. I mean making that party

I'm afraid I can't go on the 18th I think, I'll be in Wales visiting my grandparents. Would love to go though, I have a few costume ideas. ^.^
[/ QUOTE ]
Sorry to hear that, how about the 17th, or the 19th? (or other day?) -
There are plans bubbling around to make a "club night" at PD
It's just not that fleshed out yet: is it every week, or every two weeks?
It'll probably be friday, but then again, it might not be...
As to what RPers are looking for...
My character would go for friends and fun. That's it...
And as a whole, I think it's fairly safe to say that we look to having a night without someone showing up and display an excesive amount of graphical emotes (ussually involving the dreaded BB and a lot of slapping) and we do get lucky like that every now and then, but it seems it's too much to ask some nights... *sigh* -
I've been planning a party in the Cirque base, as a result of a temp disco, might as well be used.
Then I thought it might be fun to have the party in costumes, like on halloween.
I've set it to the 18th of Februari, but as has been pointed out to me, that's the saturday after valentine... people might have other plans. (I know I wish I had *sob*)
* If anyone would like to attend but has other plans that day, please post here (preferably with an alternate day)
The party is planned for inside the Cirque base. This will present a few difficulties. The entry, which is easily amended by the door men. Or if costume alts are being made, we could add them to a SG that has a coalition (like the alts SG: The Chess Club)
But those that don't have CoV, won't be able to enter.
* If you don't have CoV but would like to come, please post here, and we could probably pick an other location.
* If you are going to make an alt just for the costume, contact me (ShadowGhost) , FloatingFatMan, CatKeeper or Molok for an invite to the Chess Club
Then there's one last thing... it's a Masquerade Ball (well, less formal than a ball) so it would be nice if people would disable the floating names. Just to make it more fun.(I suggest seting it to appear only when you select someone)
Those are the points so far. Please discuss, and add points you feel should be adressed aswell. -

You use two Global Channels for your SG? Why not use the SG Channel instead?
[/ QUOTE ]
With the Cirque we have two channels, the normal SG channel, and the global channel, both are IC ((though is used for OOC aswell)) -

XIV Temperance - Grav Mistress

Having read up on the card, (thanks to Leif_Roar's link) I find this a good match. -
I'll definatly be a regular reader, and may even contribute every now and then... just not on a regular bases, I think...
-
Nice, as good if not better than the rest

He was now the man with no fear and he had work to do.
[/ QUOTE ]Yeah, right! -

Seconded. I am also Dutch, and agree it is not an excuse.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm also Dutch, and might I comment that I've heard a lot of comments that us Dutch (in general) use better English than most English people?
(keep in mind that people say this to me, mostly ingame) -
Which zones have beacons?
For CoH I know only hazard zones have them
I know these exist:
Hollows
Perez Park
Boomtown
Faultline
Dark Astoria
Striga
Going to the badges in Eden and the Rikti Crash Site didn't give the beacon.
Is this a bug, or aren't these supposed to have beacons?
The only 2 zones I didn't test are The Hive and Terra Volta, but may do so some time soon. -

It's part skill, part observation, part talent.
[/ QUOTE ]
and part intent? -
Jess would probably try and get Lyn to dance, atleast ask 2 or 3 times.
As for sleeping arangements...
there's a spare bed in the bedroom.
Lyn is apperantly passed out on the sofa, Yoko is but a door away from home (nifty, no? Magical doors?) Which leaves Jo... -
Hmmm... seeing as how Lyn is occupying the sofa, and the girls can direct their tumble, the sofa would be a fair bet as to whom they'd fall on
-
[ QUOTE ]
Grav's fast, shouldn't be much of a delay.
[/ QUOTE ]
And so's Crow... can't imagine there'll be a long show :/ -
About Jess and Ellie waltzing, that would be a bit funny seeing as they both got thought how to follow, and not lead.
Clumsy start to say the least! -
I'll start...
Jess would consume moderate amounts of pizza, and limit herself to 2 glasses of wine, though probably consume 4 in the spirit of the party.
She'll also try to hint (subtly at first) to Ellie not to drink too much
There was talk of dancing, so the coffee table and armchair could easily be moved to make space.
If asked, Jess wouldn't mind demonstrating the results of the dance lessons she and Ellie take every friday.
This would mean a waltz.
Otherwise she'd join in with the 'normal' disco/club dancing. -
Last night, Ellie got back from her 'rehabilitation', her powers no longer supressed and more or less free to do as she pleases again.
This was cause for a party!
Pizza was ordered and alcohol stockpiled.
Party goers:
Yoko, Quantum Seraphim, Lyn, Jessica and Ellie. (forgive me if I missed anyone)
Parties have always had memorable moments, but as this party was held offscreen, so none of us can say for sure what happened.
That's where this thread comes in
The setting:
A cosy, somewhat small appartment with a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, one bedroom and a broomcloset.
Kitchen: room to cook, and a table with seeting for four, a chair easily added to make 5.
Living room: a 3 seeter sofa and 2 comfortable chairs surrounding a low coffee table. The sofa facing a tv with dvd system.
And the rest is none of your business(when needed, I'll divulge more information)
Now it's time to discuss what happened! -

Police were astonished today to find the severed bodies of many local citizens and even more astounded to find the killer nowhere in sight or in the immediate vacinity.
[/ QUOTE ]
So they expect a killer to hang around, and point out "Hey, I did that!"
[ QUOTE ]
The murders have been confined to the Galaxy city area, and locals have being quoted on mentioning a woman who calls herself "Dancing With Swords"
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm sure the locals can be quotes on mentionin a woman who calls herself Grav-Mistress, or Fluffy Kitten for that matter... it does not say how this relates.
ie. did they notice her acting creepy aound the time and in the vacinity of the murders?
[ QUOTE ]
,we'll keep you updated as soon as news comes throught to us.
[/ QUOTE ]
This sounds to me more like it belongs in a TV news report, rather than an article in the news paper. -
Nice sequel!
It's a nice read, easy to get and I didn't see any points that might be improved (not that I'm an expert).
Not to mention, great humor and a nice way to make fun of game mechanics! -
[ QUOTE ]
This is funny, not least because I've -seen- heroes in outfits that bad on the streets of Paragon City.
[/ QUOTE ]
What's worse... I was one of those heroes that actually WORE those colors (it was the SG, honest!)
Great and funny story, Innigo -
For Grav it would be... "It's a kind of magic" (by Queen?), or "I've put a spell on you" (by Joe Cocker?)... but when activating the Personal Forcefield... it's "Can't touch this" (by MC Hammer?)
(Yes, I'm not sure who performs those songs, so sue me) -
[ QUOTE ]
Wasn't getting at anyone.
[/ QUOTE ]
Neither was I, I was just bringing up a situation, which I view as a IC joke
Sorry if it came across as such
