Jacob leant agaisnt the lamp-post overlooking Independance Port as the sun was setting and crossed his arms, head tilted slightly as he pondered for a while. He had never worked in a city full of super powered people before. Sure, he'd known some. Employed one every so often, too... But this was going to be a lot different. He was 90 now, you wouldn't tell from his body though. No, that was staying exactly how it had been when he first stole the formula for that super-drug from those idiotic Nazis. He allowed himself a chuckle... Yeah, back in the day he was a real james Bond-a-like, British Military Black Ops and at the top of his class. That was a long time ago, though.
Everything had changed after that 'Ubermenschen' Serum. Nothing felt as nice anymore, colours were dull... company was less fulfilling. A Band wrote a song about that once, he remembered. It wasn't just the Drug, it was the wars too. "I see a red door and i want it painted black... no colours anymore i want them to turn black..." he said the Lyrics with a little smirk on his face and made for thd docs, looking at his watch. He looked back out to the sea, a small speedboat making its way to the docks. as he reached the small peir the boat stopped moving, engine still running. "Impeccable timing, Lefty." Jacob pointed out and stepped into the back, the military garbed driver lookd back and grinning "You know me, King. I'm a stickler for turning up on time." Jacob grinned back and nudged open a box in the back of the Speedboat with his foot as he began to undo his shirt. "The boys setting up my office?"
"Allready done, Boss"
"Good man." Jacob smiled again and reached down into the box, pulling out a black beret with an Anvil shaped badge on the front and pulled it onto his head, adjusting it just so... perfect military precision. "Allright Lefty. Rogue Isles, and avoid that... Octopus..." he said, pointing to a tentacle breaching the water ahead of them.
"Lets go paint the town... Black" He grinned, pulling on his shirt.
The Black King was here, and he wasn't about to leave anytime soon.

If you have nothing useful to say, you have two choices: Say something useless or stay quiet.
