    Using the mobs and environment to help get a kill is perfectly fine in PvP zones as people in those zones have agreed to these risks when entering the zone. However, repeated use of mobs by Player A to incur debt on Player B could be seen as harrassment and the harrasser may be punished if petitioned.

    People in PvE zones make no such agreement to partake in activities where other players cause them debt. If someone trails mobs onto another player with the intention of causing death or ruining their fun then they have broken the rules and will face punishment.

    Did the stalker acknowledge your request and say he'd stop killing you only to turn around and then kill you? In that case you can talk about "gentlemanly" behaviour and how it's lacking. It'd still be fine by the game and zone rules though and some people might even consider it intelligent play on the stalker's behalf.
    If the stalker didn't make any agreements with you then being a "gentleman" doesn't even enter the equation.
  4. Group fly can be very handy to have on raids - it's amazing how many Ill/Kins don't have power pool travel powers and lots of other Illusionists pick up the other travel powers. On Defiant raids we usually have 2 or 3 illusionists being carried around on Group fly. It's not essential (I imagine the Union raid won't be short on numbers so you'll be able to afford to have a few people dropping PA from within the mito clearing group ) but it's nice to have the flexibility, especially if Union ever raid regularly and the attendance drops.

    Yeah, I figured that out only recently so I've been leaving out the closing tags in my signature since It'll be nice to be able to stick another few of my rotation of alts in when it's upped.

    The US forums have a 300 character limit. We used to have a 300 character limit on the COV side of the forums and a 200 character limit on the COH side. They upgraded the software (or something) and chose to have a common limit of 200 characters on the EU side.

    The US get 300. We get 200.

    Personally I think we have reason for complaint.

    Edit: I've just sent Bridger an e-mail asking about the difference in signature limits.

  12. Bloody Bay is quite a large map and it's quite possible to spend long periods of time in there without encountering the enemy. When you go in to Bloody Bay do a whoall (/whoall) to see how many unhidden heroes and villains are on the map (I have a macro in my power tray so I can whoall quickly /macro W "whoall") so you don't spend ages wandering an empty map looking for a fight. If you do see a villain on whoall give them a holler over broadcast and ask them if they want to fight. Make sure you have villain chat enabled though so you can hear their response
    Personally for zone PvP I prefer Siren's Call (entry level 20, auto-exemped to 30) as it's a smaller map and you're more likely to find people in there fighting. It can be tough for characters at the low end of the level range though as they might be using TO or DO enhancements while their oponents could be fully slotted up on SO's.

    In place of Brawl Index, read Damage Modifier and then the initial statement is true (for melee attacks anyway).

    My understanding is that the taunt aura aspect of Mudpots is auto-hit and it's only the damage part that has an accuracy check so slotting it for damage over accuracy has no impact on a tanker's ability to hold aggro.

There's no such thing as "spare" controllers during the holding phase As a theoretical argument I'm not sure how many would be needed to confuse a GM and I'm not sure we'd even want to risk trying it - what if the confused GM made a beeline for Hami and caused a lagfest at exactly the wrong time? A taunting tanker (or scrapper) is the easiest and best solution to rampaging GM's - all we would need is for people to not attack the GM until it's heading back out of the jelly after being taunted, thus reducing the lag effect on the holding group.

    Personally I'd prefer to see the controllers actually taking part in the holding phase instead of patrolling for monsters

  24. I never really had a need for acrobatics on my ill/kin. For holds I kept 6 break frees in my tray at all times (If I recall correctly I never had to use more than two of those in any mission and most of the time I didn't need to use any - I really only kept so many on me so I wouldn't have to keep running back to my contacts for more). Knockback never caused me any deaths, and this is from someone who used to stand in the middle of the groups of bad guys to fulcrum shift and fireball at the start of fights. I did get knocked about a bit at times but generally I was able to use a transfusion or two to keep me going. I can see the benefit of having acrobatics but there's no way I could have fit it into my build without dropping some very useful powers.
  25. Twice a month is about as often as I'd want to raid Hami. I wouldn't mind doing two raids in two weeks or even two days if it was a once off but regular weekly raiding would become too much of a chore.

    I'm pretty much available for raiding any night of the week. Regarding raid times I can do weekend raids at any time of the day/evening. It's harder for me to say what times would be good for me on weekday nights - due to other commitments some weeks a 7pm start might be fine but the next week an 8pm start would be better.
