Hey Everybody,

So a while back I made a post about how EnnVee has made such an impact on my life, which can be found here, well I said then that I had managed to snag someone to do some free art for her. Well that piece was done by none other than the phenomenal Pirate Cashoo. What's more I am eternally grateful that she did this piece for no charge, someday I'll find a way to thank you for this Cashoo.

And now, done just in time for EnnVee's Birthday, a thank you piece to say how much she's meant over the last year.



The female is EnnVee's namesake/main, and the male is my main, (General Knowledge), and I applaud Cashoo for figuring out this great scene with as little guidelines as I gave her.

To Cashoo: Thank you so much for doing this amazing piece without charge. I cannot hope to pay you back but I am gonna try my darndest anyway.

To EnnVee: This piece is hardly enough in my eyes to repay you for all the help in my life you've given me. You are truly a saint of a woman and I hope this art will remind you just how much your friendship has meant to me in these hard times. You are a true friend, happy birthday and I hope this project that's been in the works for a while brings you happiness.

I agree some gold and blue to go along with the egyptian theme. However I would sprinkle in a tiny bit of green. I'm no good with deciding where (EnnVee should know by how my costumes sometimes turn out ) but I'll see if these pictures help at all.





P.S. EnnVee your previous tat looks amazing. maybe someday if something means that much to me I'll get one, but I need some serious thought to put into it.

Hey everybody.

This was inspired by a thread I saw in the Comic Culture forum. The premise is essentially the same though I feel the people around here will get a better response and generally will be kinder than those people (I made the mistake of posting what I'm gonna post here there, though I'm not taking it down because I have a handful of freinds there). What are your thoughts/wishes for the new year? You don't get a blue moon new years often so might as well use it.

I have a few wishes. I am wishing that my move to my college dorm/apartment in two weeks goes well. I hope for good grades an lots of new freinds.

I do have two bigger wishes though. I do wish to find a nice guy to be with and to not be the lone single guy among my freinds anymore. Goign hand in hand with that is my wish for my parents to finally believe and accept the fact that I am homosexual. It's been a long uphill battle and it's hurt me a fair amount so I'm hoping with the new experiences next year I can convince them finally that this is the life I lead.

And of course, I hope for many more pleasant times on the forums with all you guys and here's to good teaming with you all via any sort of artsy forum goodness. You have become a part of my life that has been a lot of help to me in lots of ways. Best wishes to you all.

I just got back from a new years eve ski day, as in get up at 6:30 to drive to the resort and then come back, and since I have no party to go to, I am counting on all of you to keep me up and running until at least midnight.

I is getting uber jealous, and realizing buying a gaming laptop was a stupid waste of my money. Should've just ought a netbook and external hard drive and saved the rest of my money for a nice powerhouse. Time to start saving up so the next thread can be about my machine.

Well I'm still at it, got something a little longer this time. Pyro Nympho asked me to retell the origin of his namesake in my own words. I started working a little harder than my lazy work ethic because I wanted to get his done by Christmas for Pyro. I had a lot of fun with this one and I think while it has its quirks, it is an enjoyable read. I'm still taking any requests but it might take a little longer now that the holidays are right over my head.

Wow, I don't want to call it a speedwrite but I got inspired to write a little something as soon as I was given the opportunity. Starwind, you can find the full text of the origin story here.

I know it's rather rushed but I figured since it was only an origin story and not a full fledged adventure I had a little bit of leeway. If any of you want a longer adventure I'll definitely create something longer.

Good luck with the move Cashoo. If I remember correctly you saiid you're moving here to Colorado. Well here's an early welcome and a happy ChrismaHanuKwanzaakah to you. I know to an extent what your going through (I'm moving in a little less than a month as well) and just how hard it is. Well here's hoping things settle down soon and we can see the awesomesauce that is your art. Take care of yourself Cashoo, in the meantime maybe some Gir, Animaniacs, and Government Ninjas can help you relax.

Uhh EnnVee, That's really hard to read, maybe make it a lighter shade of green or a red.

Hi my freinds in the art commnity,

This may be the wrong place to ask about this, but I decided to talk about this after some encouragement from some freinds. First, let me tell you a story.

I may not be the greatest artist, in fact I make stick figures look like Michelangelo's David by comparison. However, after talking to some people such as EnnVee (I'm sure you guys are sick of me talking about her by now) people have started to say I have a bit of a knack for writing fantasy/science fiction. How do you factor into this? Well let me tell you.

I figure though I might not be skilled with drawing, I am skilled with the art of words, so I am hereby throwing myself upon your judgement/suggestions. Having submitted my application to DeviantArt I am now taking requests for a story to be written about your character/characters. If you think this is a dumb idea and you don't want my work, I won't be offended and things can continue as normal. But if any of you want a story about one of your characters written in my hand (which is still not perfect) I'll be happy to do my best. I am currently accepting requests free of charge until and if I am cemented as a writer here.

Again I apologize if this is the wrong place to make this post but I figured since you guys are the creative lot I hang out with you would be the most open to this. Post in this thread or PM me if you are interested or think this is a bad idea.

Just a suggestion. I know it's second best, but one thing I've done when I've lost a mic is at least turn on vent to listen in, and you can type your responses to whatever shenanigans we have. However if you don't wanna do that it's cool.

That and I think it's about time we spread some holiday cheer and perhaps start a give people microphones fund. I actually know about a really great headset (wish I stil had mine, it lasted me several years of heavy use) for really cheap at Amazon. Find them here.

I had a lot of fun tonight while I was there, definitely enjoyed getting to know you guys.

As for switching to Ventrilo, I'm pretty sure EnnVee and I have a mostly empty server we can let you guys use. Also this way no ones computer suffers from massive overuse due to hosting skype.
