We now have the hero side SG created and ready to rock. This is the sister SG to the Gallery of Rogues from the villain side.

For those who wish to join us, you may join the DA SG at cityofheroes.deviant.com. The info regarding the leaders and who is responsible for handling certain aspects of the DA SG can be found there.

You may also join the in game chat channel called Forum 606. Join the chat channel and then ask for an invite to the SG.

The hero SG is called Hero Studios, and has people that can do invites, so just reach out in game on the SG channel, Forum 606.

We will also be using SKYPE and/or VENT for voice chats if anyone cares to put a voice to their game persona. No RP'g is mandatory, but is acceptable for those who like to RP.

A good call on the name! glad someone thought of something an did something.

It wasn't my idea to actually start it, but I was asked to and so I did. The name came from a couple of people, so I thought it would work for the group.

It was nice chattin with you and the others on the SG channel. We finally got to hear the ROO voice that Wassy is all gaga over!

lol yeah, I have just transferred My level 45 blaster, and level 50 scrapper for this group, I also have a level 32 and 2 in the 20's for it.

also moved over another big big guy for the rogues.

I'd personally be more in favor of a unified theme towards uniforms, kind of like I did with the Daybreakers - Uniform colors, uniform emblams and patterns to use and to try to stay close to an overall uniform feel...

While we do have some amazing costume designers here I think everyone has some talent towards it and for those bringing in their more established characters it would be tough to give up their look entirely.

Personal examples:
Alpha needs his armor to have powers... I suppose I could adjust colors and emblems but I couldn't switch him to tights.

Caemgen has a tough time wearing a shirt - Tough to slip one on over his wings and horns.

Fenian is a bit of a clothes horse, enjoying different costumes... But the green and orange is her symbols. She could cut back and only have a couple pieces so colored but I just could not imagine her in a blue bandana!!!


Obviously this would be easier for people using characters less near and dear to their hearts... And I'll adapt somehow to whatever is finally decided... But I just think everyone should have at least some leeway on the outfits.

Uniforms are all well and good.... but I hope there's no strict expectations on how much its going to be worn. I like to keep Neurotika in her leather and fishnets (or less).

Well I don't think Villains are the types to go with a common uniform (super-villains that is). What about just going with the X-Men style of things...you're permitted to wear anything you want so long as the SG's logo is displayed somewhere on your costume?

I'll have to move over some character when I have the chance.

I play on Virtue (And sometimes have been somewhat of a regular poster here... but I constantly lurk this forum... does that count?) and I'd love to hook up with you all and have some fun.

I do role-play and love to all the time, but I have my OOC binds and use them when I am not In-Character and all that jazz. (In case any of that means anything to anyone)


About uniforms:
First off, no harm in raising the idea!
And similar thoughts crossed my mind. However, it seems like the nature of these forums and the group we might have here sort of calls for not having a uniform and instead being completely free with all of our own individual styles of expression.

That being said... Perhaps a themed sub-group of new characters (Plus any pre-existing ones that a player might want to include within it) within the SG...
Like... a group of people that were visiting an art museum and got struck by cosmic beams that granted them new powers (Super simple silly premise there, just as a quick example).
We give them all a uniforms, albeit more like guidelines, colors, things that still can be accessorized and match, but allow for individualization.
Or maybe characters that are art collectors.
Or heroes that all got their powers from some magical pieces of art.
Or characters who are actually creations of some super-powered artist! (And maybe that super-powered artist is actually a super-villain who is now our nemesis)

*shrugs*

I shall stop thinking aloud now and go back to lurking for a bit ;o)

I guess I was lucky...all I saw down was Justice and Champion. Virtue was up for me this whole time - weird.

I double checked last night, I'm wracking up miles

WOW!!! What a fun time tonite!! We had a full team (JKat, Burnt Matchstick, Roo (Eddy), Bayani, Dark Ether, Jophiel, Starwind and moi), and we just tore thru everything like a hot knife thru a stick of butter!

On another note, we have enough prestige for JKat to expand the base a bit, so we should have porters very very soon! Stay tuned!
