I haven't been teaming much (or even playing much) lately because my lousy adapter keeps me rubberbanding like a [thing that rubberbands a lot] and that gets old real quick. Especially when you're fighting, then it pasuses, then you see the cascade of red numbers over your head as the mobs have been slapping you about for the last ten seconds.
However, last night I got sick of it and ordered 100 ft of CAT5e cable and informed my wife that I shall be poking a couple holes in the walls and running it through the attic. Hopefully a wired connection will solve my woes and, anyway, $16 worth of cable and an hour of my time is a cheaper solution than buying and trying more wireless adapters.

Just curious if there is a Vent server the 606's is using. The first few nights alot of us seemed to be on Skype when this all came about, but it seems I been hearing about a Vent group too lately - is that something that can be posted here? Thanks!

Hi. I'm thinking of applying to Hero Studios, since I'm already hanging with you guys some nights and lurking in the channel. Is there anyone in particular I need to ask?
Are there any particular archtypes you need? Or can I just choose a toon from my stable (yes, I have horrible altitis). I'd probably wind up being part time, due to me belonging to two guilds run by an old friend from the bad old Atlanta days. But when I have the time, I would be willing to help you guys.
Don't have vent or skype currently installed. Would be willing to on request, as long as it doesn't lag me out..
Any special place or can I just snag an officer?

I wouldn't worry about it as it's a pretty casual arrangement. Some nights it's adecent hanful on, some nights it's just me on (although usually a few souls in the 606 channel). So if you expect to be "part time", you won't be cramping anyone's style because of it.

Yep, Like Joph said, bring in whoever you want. This group is just about chatting, having fun, and rampaging around when there's enough on, we don't worry about AT's or the like... We're a pretty eclectic batch so just bring whoever is fun

I like to play dress up with my toons, too. Until recently (when I accidentally reinstalled CoH over the old version,) Ryouko had one of the most extensive costume collection I had seen in an MMO in a long time...
Fortunately her current costume survived, but the rest, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to rebuild.

Unless you use system restore (built into most flavors of Windows) to roll the system back to a time before you did the accidental reinstall. 
Fortunately, I have screenies of some of the old costumes for my characters. If need be, I can rebuild/recreate from there, like I am for the current Ryouko story I am writing...(no you can't see it yet.)
This way, I'm guessing I've saved the best and gotten rid of the chaff, and can reorganize costumes/power designs as well.
In the case of Ryouko, her current costume stays in at least one slot out of five, so all she needs are new nonsuper clothing, and for me to save her current costume model with a bathing suit for summer
