I made this SS/FA dude and I think I made him very well, but this is my first brute build...

im no 'Pro' but I'd go with SS/SD

Turns out there wasn't a patch. My updater was just being a ******, and wanted to fix and verify things.
Anyway, I clicked an empty slot to make a new character, picked Praetorian -> Brute -> Kinetic Melee, hovered over Burst, and set the slider to 50.
The results were:
31.28 Smashing Damage
20.85 Energy Damage
Plus, while under effect from Power Siphon, it adds +25% strength to Smashing, Lethal, Fire, Cold, Energy, and Negative Energy on self. -
They are making brutes less awesome!
I will complain as much as I want. -
What they're changing Fury!
I can only see more and more nerfs in the future now... -

Since you are a brute, you need to be attacked and to be hitting, but do you build up your fury if you can't recieve oncoming damage?
Or do I have the facts wrong and that you need to be attacked and it does matter if your hit or not?
Please answer this, I'm fairly baffled -
