meh ... That's $10 I'll be keeping in my wallet.
-
Think I'll make a catgirl with the name D0ct0r Ch33t4 D4rk that is a Martial Arts scrapper, goes off alone and is suicidal of course, hollering for "SB plz!!1!!1" and see how many BINGOs I can get from teammates in a day.
Or maybe a peacebringer with that one healing power they get...
or a blaster that uses snipe (but I do love snipe!) as much as possible...
.. say, was there one that had "blaster with Medicine Pool powers"? -
So that's what happened. I thought maybe you had finally grown up, unlike the rest of us. Silly me.
Action figures? Pfft. Virtual dolls is correct. You're only foolin' yourself. -
I rarely have seen PLing for cash on Virtue. On Freedom the broadcast is filled with such offerings, both in AP (using AE) and PI.
I recently levelled up a new character to mid-teens on Virtue when joining an AE farm (instead of the done-it-way-too-often-already sewer run), but I didn't have to pay one blue INF. -

Elvis hasn't been dead for 2000 years.back at ya.
Elvis still lives? -
Thanks for the link. I thought it was JUST storage bins. Time to delete some work tables in my solo SGs as I can always edit them back in when I want to use them.
-
Quote:Yes they do. That IS what the rent fee is based on: number of storage bins.. Hell a storage SG doesn't even have any rent because storage bins don't incur a rent fee.
But, an old SG probably has a lot of prestige to spare. If anything, sell off things that are no longer going to be used, like most of the medical equipment or even the medical room itself. Remove the teleporters or cut down on the number of them. This will also allow the amount of energy and control devices to be cut.
I've inherited a few SGs. I would like a name change option for SGs, but I can see the problems with that and won't mind if such an option is never implemented. I suggest making it cost prestige to change the name, even if 1,000,000 to make it a very serious thing to do for a group to decide (enough with real money costs).

Wouldn't this record be broken every year at DragonCon? Or maybe they don't count catgirls, although those could be Catwoman?

egad.. 5000+ hours?
My main, though seldom played these days, has 1243.
But, something odd happened just now. Logged into another character, talked to an M-named person and she said I had 224 patrol hours. I checked salvage inventory in my base, went and got the new explore badges, and before logging out I checked on another M-named person. He said I had 241 patrol hours; and this within an (realtime) hour of checking previously.
edit:
Ah, N-named is "gone on patrol x times", M-named is patrol hours. I think I talked to Ngac, not Mgac (where do they get these names?) the first time. -
what the...
"You have now been logged into the game for over 25,000 hours. We appreciate your patronage but feel you need to get a life. We shall suspend your account for one week. - Paragon Studios"
.........
Yes, I'm joking. Really.I thought of this when I was logging in today, just after getting up from a night's sleep, and then I went to get breakfast.
Btw, 6 years * 12 months * 30 days (average) * 24 hours = 51,000+ hours. -

Quote:Leave Beanbag alone!Never going to happen, but I'd just replace Beanbag with a ranged version of Follow Up and name it 'Draw a Bead'.
You don't like stunning an enemy so he's not shooting back at you, especially any specialists like Sappers or anyone that can mez?
Do not spread Auto Fire's cone AoE but instead extend it's range of effect. Bullets just don't stop and drop at 80' (or whereever the effects stops).
I like Slug. Automatic rifles do have single shot settings. Decrease it's reactivation time. -
I disagree. I like hunts. I like doing them in the open world. To some degree I can pick where I hunt. I can stop any time, say to join a team or check the market, and continue later at my leisure. An instance will make it like any other mission.
It is annoying if the hunted are in large groups, I'm at the very minimum of the level of the area they are in, or, especially, both of those conditions exist. But I'll make do. People clamor for a challenge yet run away screaming for change when this mission occurs. I wouldn't mind the number required be decreased, or, as I've suggested before, make it variable by having every defeat having a chance to provide the objective of the mission, with 100% chance of success at the maximum number the missions are set to now. -

Man, I can hardly wait for "things".

I pretty much agree with Liquid's assessment, except I'll repeat part of his comment as my main issue with AE in general:
"As someone who likes the AE for the story aspect, the setting breaks my immersion. I want my characters to be fighting or perpetrating crime, not playing video games. I actually want to travel to another area of the zone to get to the next mission; it makes me feel like the story is actually taking place in the world."
If I wanted my character(s) to play some sort of game, I'd rather have the pinball machines in the game actually work, even if simply (or would like an emote to sort of look like it is, '/e type' is close) *. Or he would shoot baskets at any one of the numerous basketball courts (hm, never thought about punting, read: knockback, street criminals into a basket.. hmmm..).
(note: When I'm more involved in chatting than playing and a pinball machine is nearby I'll have the character stand at it and do the '/e type' emote. Yeah, I'm a role-player, why do you ask?)
* I guess I could play CoX in window mode (first I'll have to figure out how to do that), shrink it down to half the screen size, and bring up any pinball game into the other half and pretend my character is playing the game.. but that just doesn't seem right, either.
Not that I really want the devs spending effort and resources to make pinball machines work in the game. Although, I'd like to have a couple to put in my SG/VG bases, along with a billiard table or dartboard, but that's another topic for other discussions. -
Quote:He said it.. mega XP.To be honest, I don't like to bring up veteran reward status for anything, but I still feel I'm within my right to cite veteran status as defence for why I don't want "mega xp"
I mean, seriously. After 69 months, what am I gonna' get for powerlevelling a level 28 Mastermind OF A SET I HAVEN'T PLAYED BEFORE?
I prefer to get mega fun, myself. -
COH won't ever have:
vehicles,
swinging travel power,
four-legged (or more) animals,
underwater zone or even an underwater area/map,
although COH2 may never have some of these, either.
Anything else the devs have said that won't be in COH? -

I approve of this suggestion.
It so ruins the immersion when my barefoot jungle girl walks across some surface that make it sound like she's wearing heels. -
