To help you, I need to interrogate you. This shouldn't hurt much.
... do you know how to craft? Do you know how to frankenslot? Do you know how to figure out which sets are going to be cheap and which aren't? -
You can potentially get:
5x5%
5x6.25% (Decimation, Positron's Blast, some others)
5x7.5% (the only one I can think of is Manticore)
5x "Luck of the Gambler" 7.5% (same bonus, different name)
And many purple sets give 10% each, for another 5x10% possible.
By the way, if I remember you need about 90% for perma-hasten. Before ED, you used to be able to do it with five "+2" SOs, I think, which is 167% x 1.1 or 183%. -
I think that people's self-definitions as casual have SOME effect on the definition of the term. Obviously people don't 100% get to choose their own definitions (what is it, 75% of drivers consider themselves in the top 50%?) but I think there should be some correlation .

More from the list:
Decimation A/E/R, Devastation D/R, Impervium +Psi, Lockdown quad, LoTG D/E/R, Mako A/E/R, Posi A/D/E, Scirocco A/D/E.
I have to say I'm very pleased with the new set weighting.
NOTE: Posi instasold for 5.1 million; all others are for sale at 5.1 million, recipe, level 33. -

That's a good objective standard. As far as subjective, I had a character who was suddenly down to 5 million and I felt poor. Not "food vs. medicine" poor, or "SO's or Insps" poor, but a startling narrowing of opportunities.
-
listed blueside:
L33 LoTG 7.5% crafted, 165-ish million
two L33 Oblit quads, recipe, a little under 50 million.
I have about ten more recipes but I'm going to leave 'em for the morning. -
I didn't do much marketing in preparation... I'm going to see how much I can get done at the last minute.

It's also not his playground, as I learned when I bugged him about it.
*shrug* -
I need to get the "Fulmens' Acc Weenie Club" shirts made up on CafePress or something. I already have two customers lined up... I think I just found a third.
(I slot for about +50-60%. I always have a chunk ton of yellows lying around in my tray anyway. I don't miss much and neither will you.)
Edited to add something sort of constructive:
Elude-style Parapros? Captain Mako? If Parapros hit MoG it doesn't matter if you hit them, because you do dribble-all damage. -
People are talking like this is binary: "there is PL" or "there is no PL."
I think the term for that is a "false dichotomy".
It's a float: "10% of people are farming" vs "80% of people are farming" .
The better the farm, the more people will do it: meows and bubbles got big enough fast enough that you could say "Everyone was doing it" and be pretty close to right. This sploit was on the lower end of appalling- I did see someone redside get pulled into a henchman farm on their first or second day in game and get spat out twelve levels later. I warned them it would happen and offered to help them play in the real [sic] world if they wanted. That's all I could do, really. -
I know my ignorance does not disprove your statement, but I never heard anyone say it was definitely a bug.
If I was the devs I would relabel it a feature, but that may be just me. -
There are about four explanations of varying levels of complexity and accuracy, with ever-weirder exceptions being accounted for.
The simplest thing: You have Accuracy (from slotting) and To Hit(per character.) To Hit is modified based on a few things, like enemy level and any current debuffs , but is generally 75% for a typical power, being used on an even-level enemy. Accuracy is modified by your Acc Enhancements and any global set bonuses (from, say, four Thunderstrikes.) You multiply those two together to find your Final To Hit. Your Final To Hit can't go over 95%.
SIMPLEST CASE: You have a single 16.7% Acc DO in Fire Bolt, and you shoot an even-con Clockwork with it. Your Accuracy term is 116.7% because of the enhancement and your To Hit is 75% (shooting an even-con with a regular power) so your Final To Hit is 75% * 1.167 or 87.5% .
EXAMPLE OF A STUPIDLY COMPLEX CASE: You've got 40% Acc slotted in Hack, a 28% global Acc Bonus, you're attacking a +2 Spectral Knight, and you've been To Hit debuffed by 20% from various ghost attacks.
ACC TERM: 100% +40% +28% = 168%.
TO HIT TERM: 59% (base vs. a +2) + 5% (Hack has a 5% To Hit Bonus) -20% (To Hit debuffs) =44%.
FINAL TO HIT: 44% * 1.68 = 74% . -
Quote:... those are underpriced. The wentworth's one anyway.
Wentworths interface for supergroups
Cost: 10,000,000inf.
Permanent base item, purchased at a fixed price from wentworths / black market.
What it does: works just like the auction house, but from a panel/object placed in your supergroup base.

Mission architect editor Interface for supergroups
Cost: 10,000,000inf.
Permanent base item, purchased at a fixed price from the ticket vendor at the Architect Building.
What it does: works just like the architect editor, but from a panel/object placed in your supergroup base.
What if they required 36 pieces of rare salvage as well (one of each type)?
Quote:Topless mode for females costs 16b, only visible to user and others who have bought it. -
Closed beta may not be quite as fun as you think.

well, given how ugly it was when they had 2XP with the RWZ loophole, I'm glad they crushed this sploit now.
-
There's also this in the meantime. There are pitfalls, you could lose your money and you DEFINITELY lose 10% in market fees. But it works, if done right. I've done it dozens of times and lost no money ever.
EDIT: Never lost 100% of the money. Always lost 10% in wentfeees. *handwaves, helpfully* -
I'd avoid the Dark Armor brute. It just seems like a bad idea for furycrafting.
Fire/Rad corrs would be good. The Fire/Sonic duo sounds interesting as well. I don't know if capped-at-75% resist is enough to keep you alive, but it'd be fun finding out. -
OK, when Issue 9 came out some level 50 firetanks spent an incalculable amount of inf to get their dream build RIGHT NAO. It was, like, 300 million inf. Maybe 350 million counting the Draconic Wings.
What would today's cost for that same build be?
* No purples
* No PVP IO's
* No Blessing of the Zephyrs
* No Eradication, Obliteration, Accurate Healing, Taunt, Knockback... I'm missing a few sets.
It would definitely have the three Heal uniques in Health, and it would probably have Impervium Armor and a lot of Crushing Impacts. (Psi resist! Oooh!)
Nobody had figured out perma-Hasten or defense-capped builds yet, and typed defense was a pathetic fallacy (and the "typed -> 1/2 positional" wasn't in place.) So Kin Combat, Aegis and Thunderstrike for three were a lot less interesting.
I'm too lazy to do the work... anyone interested? -
You can't operate two powers with one bind. You can't have two powers on "auto."
There may be clever workarounds, but the game was designed to make botting hard and this is a side effect. -
I've had a bad experience or two with CafePress quality. Maybe it's just "Random is random", though.

If you're going off-market we have to know what server. (Where "we" means people reading the thread. I don't have one of those things.)
