  1. If I understand this correctly, out SG will have a problem. We have a wonderful, great and huge base designed by someone that is not online anymore. And I think we have no one in the SG with base designing skills, at least at the same level our beloved designer had. I'll whine for a while, until becoming hysterical.
  2. It was the greatest fun I've had since... can't remember. Photos are incredible, I made some zenital ones where you can see 9 Kronos and 2 Paladin and tiny heroes having fun. Awesome. We can have still fantastic surprises with this game...
  3. I'm interested, add me as reserve. Meanwhile, I'm thinking which one of the team will have an "accident" today so I can join.
  4. I'm sad and disappointed too. Three hours yesterday just waiting for zombies that never came. This is not an event, is a sheer coincidence.
  5. [ QUOTE ]

I remember a couple of years ago, a thread on the US side about a character that spawned on CoV as a giant. The toon must have been 30 feet tall

I can't find the screenies I saved though. Anyone remember this?

    [/ QUOTE ]

ooooo wonderful, I want that and create a Green Giant toon!
  6. Well, this means more than 1 year to farm all them, possibly a couple of years. In my case, a couple of years without dmg farming or heal farming. It's ok, no hurries.
  7. Has Defiant zombie invasion been fixed? I'm at work and can't wait to check it this evening...
  8. Most of my better moments were when I was a newbie:

    - Trying to get into Hospital when my health was low, and I hadn't a proper defeat yet. Even tried to run into elevators when a player run out.
    - Trying to get into train when doors were open. "Clicking with blue hand" not yet discovered by then. Maybe I needed a train ticket?

    Day jobs

Are those 30 days whole days or fractions? I mean, are they er... 24h = 1340 minutes? I think I've rarely been 1 day without playing my main badger... glups...
  10. [ QUOTE ]
TO be honest i think that would be a kinda pointless feature.

I mean, how many goes and think, oooh i have the salvage to make a "Insert expensive recepie IO here" and then goes and buys the recepie for lots and makes it?

If i have a recepie i wanna make, i look for the salvage.
If i have the salvage, i don't look for a recepie i could make.

    [/ QUOTE ]

At some point it is related with what you say. I know what recipies I need, and the salvage needed for them; and I have tons and tons of yellow or orange salvage that I could put in WW to get rid of them. Or I could do some investment for a recipe and craft Set IO that would give me more inf than just selling the salvage - recipe cost.

They could be highlightened in WW, too, like they are in our inventory when we have salvage needed.

The spreadsheet already exists at vidiotmaps.com, you can write your salvage there and you create a list with the possibilities; I used it at first, but abandoned it after seeing that my salvage inventory changes too fast.
  11. [ QUOTE ]

The only thing it will not tell you is the Set IOs you could make with those components. I assume that is by design.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Sorry, I forgot to say that it would be interesting specially for Set IOs.
  12. Well, just the opposite of that. Not only showing recipes I own and/or recipes with enough salvage but also showing recipes I don't own but I have enough salvage to craft if I had the recipe. Like having Nevermelting Ice, Mathematic Proof, Temporal Tracer and Pangean Soil in your inventary (among other salvage) and see at crafting table that you *could* craft Aegis: Resistance if you had the recipe.
  13. Wouldn't be useful to have an option when you go to a crafting table that tells you what could you craft with the salvage in your Inventory? It's easy to see what recipes are you carrying, what it's hard to know what could you do with the salvage you have, even if you need to bid for the recipe after making the consult.

    Dark Control

    [ QUOTE ]
Just something I'd like to see, dark control, a very 'Ghost' like powerset thats Fun and Scary, I tried to come up with a few powers meyself and used some old ones tied in with it, so here goes!

    DARK CONROL
You draw the powers of the netherealm to Control and manipulate your foes with a variety of Haunting Attacks that will hurt and scare your opponents.

    1) Midnight Grasp (negative minor DoT, Immobilise, -Acc)
Mastery over the forces of the Netherworld allows you to create dark tentacles that can Immobilize a foe and continuously drain his life force.

    2) Levitate (Negative/Smashing moderate, Knockup)
you Lift a foe in the air with Dark Telekinetic energy and violently drop them to the Ground, the experience afterwards leaves them damaged by dark energy

    3) Necroplasmic Grasp (negative High DoT, Hold)
You hold your Foe in a grasp of Dark Spirit energy, rendering them unable to move and take negative energy damage over time

    4) Dark Cloud (AoE -Acc, -preception, -ToHit)
You Conjour up a dark cloud from the netherealm and Block your foes Sight, they will not be able to see you but you still can be discovered within Melee Range

    5) Midnight Shroud (AoE Moderate negative DoT, Immobilise, -Acc)
using the powers of the netherworld, you create dark Tentacles around your foes feet and immobilise them and drains thier life force, targets unnafected by the immobilise will still suffer a loss to accuracy

    6) Fearsome Wave (PBAoE fear)
You summon a wave of Dark Spirits to phase through your foes, the experience of which leaves them scared and trembling in place

    7) Necroplasmic Cages (AoE Hold)
You call forth cages of Ghostly energy to trap your enemies, unlike necroplasmic Grasp, this power does no damage to those held

    8) Ghostly Phase (self Intangible, stealth)
You Shift your form into one of a ghost, causing you to become less visable and unable to be attacked, but in this form you cannot touch the mortal world and therefore cannot attack

    9) Dark Thaughts (PBAoE negative/Psionic High, foe Confuse)
You Tempt the minds of your surronding foes to Stop thier assault upon you and direct the attack on thier allies, The Anger in thier minds makes them feel great pain and will become damaged after the confusion

(note: For Controllers, This set has dark Miasma Proliferated as a Secondary, and Dominators will have a form of 'Dark Assault' as thier secondary)

    [/ QUOTE ]

I wanted something like this for a long time. There is one Dark Controller out there: Malaise. Even with Dark Phantom Army. <drool>

[Thought I replied your threat before, but my reply disappeared...]
  15. Brilliant, and somehow scarier than Rikti Invasion.
  16. [ QUOTE ]
Reason widows cant have unlockable claws is same as why spines doesn't. There are, IIRC, extra claws on the hands/arms while using some powers, and there are also projectile claw throwing attacks, which are uncostomisable. I think the devs think if you can't customise that, then customising the rest is silly, and it wouldn't fit.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Remove possibility from costume window, then. There's no point of having right/left claw at tailors if there's no choice to do.
  17. [ QUOTE ]
Fosca, would you mind explaining to me why it's fine for you to state those who attack you again and again in a PvP zone are only out to make yours/others' gaming experience miserable?

As you stated in your first post to this thread.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Sorry, saw you message right now, couldn't answer sooner. First, like others have said as well, I don't complain about PvP'ing in PvP zones, that's absurd. I'm just saying that I see no point of attacking a non-responsive player. It's Player versus Player, if I'm just staying there, not fighting back, saying I'm not interested, there's no mutual fight, not really a PvP. First time can be understandable, maybe the other player is no reading the chat or whatever. If a second, third, fourth... time same player keeps fighting a non-responsive toon, there's no PvP there, there's no mutual fight. I think that that's PvP about, isn't it? So, if that player is not doing that because the fun of Player *versus* Player fight, what's the reason he/she is doing that? You can give it the name you want, I just used mine.
But, I never said I consider that an abuse, because it's not, it's a legitimate way of play. But it's not sportive playing, either. Then I just leave the zone and return any other time to see if I'm lucky.

I broadcast in zone that I'm in the zone only for pillboxes farming, and I'm not interested in PvP. If any villain attacks me, I don't fight back, hosp and back to pillboxes, if same villain attacks me again immediately, that shows me that that player is not interested in PvP at all (no rewards for defeating me 2 times in less than 1 min) but in making other players game experience miserable and I leave the zone until a better moment.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Not always true.

I often go after the same target in a PvP zone more than once, if I've managed to take them down once already. Not because I want to ruin their gaming experience, but because they agreed to become targets, and I want to have some fun. The rewards mean nothing to me, and unless I've been hugely misled, attacking the same person more than once is not against the rules of PvP.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Exactly, that is what I was talking about. Players having fun attacking other players that don't fight back, once and again and again and again and... So funny, indeed. That's why there are always same faces in PvP zones.

    [/ QUOTE ]

If you don't fight back: your choice, your problem.
If you don't fight back a second time: your choice, your problem.
If you fight back and don't win: your fault.

I'm afraid you cannot blame PvPers for this, but rather sore losers or those who expect to be left alone when entering a PvP zone.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Never said it was wrong attacking not-interested-in-pvp-players, only that you *also* could not doing so. It's up to you. You have lots of fun fighting not-interested-in-pvp-players? Ok, I'll check tomorrow, because, yes, I'm one of those who expect to be left alone in a PvP zone because due to sins in my former life I have things to do there. Of course it's my problem!

  20. I just want to have 3rd pillbox badge and never ever go back to a PvP. PvP doesn't mean that if you see another player from the other side (or even same side at WB) you *have to* attack him/her. You have 3 options in a PvP zone:
    - Fighting other PvP interested people.
    - Fighting not-interested-in-PvP people, that are there for something else (Yes, there are things to do in a PvP apart of fighting other players).
    - And, this is the most unknown one, not fighting non-interested-in-PvP people! Yes, you can choose this without loosing your masculinity/feminity or pub reputation!

  21. Survey or not, the only thing that scares my is the irreversibility issue. You have to choose switching sides or not, if you don't you get rewards, new content an possibly a badge; if you do, you get access to the other side and possibly new badges. A reward for not exploring new contents/the other side? As badge-hunter, that scares me. I'd like to experience the other side, without missing rewards/contents/badges for doing so, and the possibility of coming back to my alignement.
  22. I miss the sexy nude rikties... Which faction were those?
  23. I have a lvl 50 D3 (actually, I have all dark combinations in CoH and CoV) and I'm having lots of fun, but by now it's just IO slotted, maybe some day I'll work in a good IO Set slotting, but I'm not good with that and always ask for the experts help.
  24. [ QUOTE ]
I've had it with this game. GMs are just too darn easy. Nobody evens bothers with them anymore. I can solo them with my FF defender. How about making them a bit of a challenge so that you need to at least get a team together to take one down. And just how many Paladins do I need to defeat to get the badge, I've done like hundred now. Hope it's not like them monkeys as the most you get in a spawn is three!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Never had a so long laugh time like with this post. But it's so freaking real... I've lived this complaint for years...
