    A new PvP zone? Just what this game needs, another zone 95% of the player base never uses, and another zone that will further thin out the few remaining PvP players which will make it even harder for them to find opponents.

    I think a player using a concept similar to Ben 10 could have multiple characters with the same name but different powers. In fact people have used spelling tricks to do that since this game launched by swapping "I" for "l" which look identical in game.

    Let's do it a leeeeeeeeeeeettle differently. Let's go ahead and have the Vet Reward for capes and auras at the 2.5 year mark to auto-unlock them at levels 10 and 20 respectively. Then make the 5 year vet reward unlock capes at level 1 and auras at level 10, and then at the 7.5 year vet reward: Capes and auras from level 1.
    While my zillion alts applaud you... I know this would totally cheese some new members off. LOL. I myself have great new concepts that feel a bit lacking without the right costume enhancement (wings or aura or cape). I hate the idea of having to GRIND to earn something cosmetic that does not grant me combat bonuses or abilities. The idea of forcing play to earn that is a real downer and not in the spirit of fun.

    I went thru those emotions when the ITF was added. I had a character concept I wanted to use but I was very unhappy that I had to level thru half of his career in order to get the proper costume. So I actually waited almost a year and created the character during the Valentines Day event so he could unlock the Toga set and have a costume that actually fit the concept while he leveled up to do the ITF.

    They should have picked one of the variations of the roman armor and gave it to everyone as a basic costume set.

    Apparently you do need some helpful assistance on how things work at both NCSoft and how the forums work. As Obsidian_Farmer has pointed out to you above, this is the Player Questions section of the forums. If you had bothered to read the entire title of this section you would have seen that it reads

    Feel free to ask as often as you like but it's pretty obvious what path the devs have chosen to take on this issue.

    When they first implemented respecs they gave us very strict limitations.

    Trial Respecs - earned, up to 3 possible

    Then they started giving us one for free when they made significant changes to a powerset.

    As time went on instead of allowing us to pull more enhancements off of a build during a respec they chose to give us access to more respecs.
    • Veteran Respecs - earned, up to 5 possible (at 69 months)
    • Respec Recipes - free (These cannot be crafted if the character already has a free respec available)
    • Purchased Respec - earned, theoretically unlimited
    • Holiday Respec - free (These cannot be purchased at the Candy Keeper if the character already has a free respec available)

    The message is clear. If we want to pull more than 10 enhancements off of a build we have to burn a respec.


    If for some strange reason they decided to change their position on this I see them either reducing the number of respecs we now have available or making IO's soulbound to a character in order to prevent people from constantly doing exactly what the OP wants to do.
  8. It's more likely they'll simply keep ignoring it like they've been doing. And we know at least one dev has no problem putting forum members on his ignore list.

    I think it was Castle that said he did that to a group of people that were annoying him.

    As IanTheM1 has pointed out the devs have already said they were being generous when they decided to let us keep 10 and they repeated it after the market went online.

    No it means that they aren't working on weekends. They don't need to keep people on staff 24/7 to keep an eye on the online store. If it crashes over the weekend work can get started on it the following week.

    Automated responses are there to handle minor or routine issues that don't require human interaction to let you know they are aware of the problem.

    Sending 6 petitions means you don't know how to act like a mature adult and follow up on a petition like you are supposed to do. All you did was create 6 documents that probably got closed automatically because you failed to escalate any of them up to the next level of customer service.

    The online store goes down from time to time. Just be patient and try again later. It will go thru when it's fixed. Sending 6 petitions isn't going to get it fixed any faster and only makes you look like an impatient <censored>. No one has sympathy for people that act like that,

    .... hmm, getting to be quite a list already. And I can keep going quite easily. Yeah, gee, I can see just *everyone* swarming to that. Then again, from the "read un-nerfed" comment, I didn't really expect any better.
    Just to continue the list.
    • There was no Tailor/Icon store when the game was released
    • There were no respecs
    • There were no badges
    • There were no Capes
    • There were no Auras
    • There was no Pocket D. There wasn't even a Paragon Dance Party at launch
    • The Inf Trade limit wasn't raised to 99,999 until Issue 2
    • There were no Global Chat channels
    • There was no mission difficulty slider of any type
    • There were no Supergroup Bases

    I forget if players had to go thru each zone when they used the train to get where they wanted to go at launch or if that was only in beta.

    Geez just take a look at the stuff that was added with each issue ti see how much the game has drastically changed since launch.

    Unless the devs make a new epic archetype based on an animal skeleton you will never see them create a new skeleton that doesn't have access to all powersets.
  18. I think the closest we might get would be if the devs implemented new stances like CO has. The one I'm thinking of allows the character to run on all fours like an animal.

    Being that the bases A_A is talking about are on the test server it isn't hard to get.

    Step 1: Copy your wealthiest character over to test multiple times. (As many as necessary to get the amount of prestige you want.)

    Step 2: Use one character to form an SG.

    Step 3: Email your wealth to the SG leader.

    Step 4: Trade the inf in for prestige at the SG Registrar.

    Step 5: Delete the extra characters and repeat the process as often as necessary.

    I didn't say anything but my first impression was that the OP's post had a slightly demanding quality to it. My perception may be colored because in posts made by others that are similar to the OP's it turns out that had the questioner made the tiniest effort to do a search or look in paragonwiki they would have found their answer.

    I'm not a techie myself, but I know my own graphics card needs adjustment to handle UM from time to time. Most of the time it works without a hitch but around large groups of players using their powers I get laggy and rubberbandy.

    I see you were able to get in so it isn't the department I was thinking of that isn't in on weekends. Certain departments have weekends off. That's just the way the company has always been.
