Quote:Not really, no.Don't you find it a bit anticlimatic that the Nictus Romulus and Warshade Romulus have NOTHING to do with each other?
Quote:And if you don't, that's fine. None of us are saying, "OMG! The Devs suck 'cause they used the same name twice for two different characters!"
We're saying that we think the story would be better if they were the same guy.
It doesn't change much. -
Quote:Well, if you want to go to your base, SD works just as wellIt's ridiculously easy to hit it when I really want to, say, rest or teleport to my base.
(Assuming your base has medical facilities)
SD will hit enemies that were close to you when the animation started. No matter how far away they are when the animation finishes. -
These are all magical robots:
Front: Thousand-Faceted Nelumbo, made of crystalline adamant. Depicted weilding a crystalburst lance.
Middle (Left): Dreadful Adjudicator of Law, made of soulsteel. Not depicted with a weapon, but he's got an integrated arsenal system including an assault crossbow about as big as he is.
Middle (Center left): Lissome Avid Engineer, made of starmetal. She has a beamklave. Yes. She's a magical robot who uses a lightsaber.
Middle (Center right): Fair-Spoken Rishi, made of orichalcum. He casts ze magic missiles. (... and he's a politician)
Middle (Right): Excessively Righteous Blossom, made of moonsilver. The hilt of his big-*** sword is a crossbow.
Back: Stern Whip of Industry, made of red jade. And yes, he's to-scale with all of the other characters in the image.
Oh, and they all live in Autochthon. They are robots. This makes them, obviously, "Autobots" -
Quote:You can deactivate the Self-Destruct sequence by inputting the password from two authorized personnel, plus their security keys!I wish you could cancel Self-Destruct. I've accidentally activated it on new characters more times than I care to admit.
This post is entirely in jest -

No, I just dislike Vevo in general. (And Ethric shouldn't feel bad for not being able to access Vevo)

And your temporary-but-permanent level 1 power, and whether Blackwand or Nemesis Staff gets bonus damage, and the effects of a few temporary powers. (For example, [Demon Box]. For Magic characters, the power summons a Wailer pet. For all other origins, it summons Tar Patch. IIRC, there's a temporary power like this for all 5 origins)

Quote:That's... not a similar situation at all. It'd be like having a new NPC named Martin Cole show up who has electric/invulnerability powers who favors red and blue and calls Ms. Liberty "Cousin" turn out to be someone totally unrelated to Statesman.
It's more like sticking an non-combat escort into a one-off mission and naming him "Marcus Frekleburger", and having the players claim he's related to Statesman. Or worse, he is Statesman. Which this thread is claiming. -

Particularly since Romulus the Warshade is a very minor character, who appears in two missions from one contact in what is probably the least popular zone redside, who also happens to be completely skippable.

The only real differences between Hydra, Titan, and Hamidon enhancements is the level they're available and their strength (for Schedule A aspects, Hydra and Titan enhancements give 25%, while Hamidon enhancements give 33%; Schedule B is 15% for Hydra/Titan, and 20% for Hamidon, etc.)
tldr: Villains do get something better than Hydra/Titan enhancements: Hamidon enhancements. -
Also, I really liked the idea of that self interrupt reduction power

Time cards for any NCSoft game work on every NCSoft game. Even if the card is for an NCSoft game that is no longer running (Auto Assault, Tabula Rasa).

They get red, just like SO &c. Since they cap out at lv40 (42 if you get them up to ++), it's impossible to use them past level 45.

Got it, KittyKrusader.
Quote:I agree, a sniper set would be interesting but I can't for the life of me think of more than a couple powers to add to it. How do you build an entire powerset around the concept of "one shot, one kill?"
For another thing:Quote:Have you looked in Lady Jade's Power suggestion thread? There are alot of ideas in there.
Fair warning, I am only quoting these too because I'm biased and REALLY want a freaking sniper set.
(Edit: IIRC, I designed the set because I wanted a character where it was possible to stack 5 copies of a Snipe's set bonus) -
It's already free...
Nothing until I saw it. As I said, it would need to be leaps and bounds above Mids' to make me want to pay for it, and letting it save/load builds within the game for expedited respecs is not "leaps and bounds" - file formats are not overly hard to interpret. -
That depends: what's causing the performance problem?
The most likely causes are malware/adware slowing down your computer (in which case, a good antivirus program could get you cleaned up); running too many applications at once (in which case, simply closing things will help); or insufficient hardware (which would mean you need to upgrade your computer in order to upgrade your performance).
Another thing to look at is your graphics settings. If you've got a decent computer, you're probably not going to be able to run this game at maximum prettiness. But you may be able to run at more standard graphics just fine. -
Note that the Numina +Regen/+recov (along with all the other "lasts 120s" IOs) will also last for approximately 2 minutes after you turn the toggle off.
It will also stack with itself for two minutes after you change zones. -
Quote:Access to the Mu helmet means you need to get the code for a preordered CoV, which isn't very likely. Not only does it need to be a preorder code, it MUST be a preorder that was originally ordered from Best Buy. And you can only apply one preorder code, so if you get the wrong one, you can't try again.Anyone knows where can I find the Code for the COV Collector Edition Cape and the Code to access the Mu Helmet?
However, all 4 preorder helmets are unlocked with the 51-month veteran reward. -
Sell them and buy the one you want.
The Streakbreaker only stops streaks of misses. It doesn't stop a streak of hits that you don't think are good enough. -
Also, some powers only have to be activated while on the ground, but you can fly afterward. Hotfeet, for example.
