Nothing stops the free and premium players from RP. That's what keeps me here, and I'm VIP anyway...
-
I subscribe to the Terry Pratchett school of sexy clothes - leave too little to the imagination and it stops being intriguing.
-
Never happened to me, but then, I've never had to hold a name in my head for more than an hour or two, so I generally don't lose the excitement over it being awesome before I get to the game again.

Quote:Well, the acolytes spawn in different places... and Flower Knight only shows up blueside...I would love a combined Orbourous. I've always thought it was silly that they weren't combined. It's not like anything is different about the two different instances other than where you can teleport.
...yes, I am only illustrating a point. -
-
Bases aren't like zones - they have to have additional code so players can edit them. The added complication of the way they work means they can't have as much detail as zones.

Something to pair with Gravity that matches the visual theme? Sign me up!

Is his identity ever revealed? Answer "yes" or "no;" if I'm going to find out who he is, I want to find out on my own.
-
You still said it "plays like 4e," which is what we were going off of.
I don't like how 4e plays. -
Also liking Mother Raven and Lady Arcane here.
-
Eww, 4E? If I wanted to play an MMO based off of City of Heroes, I would play City of Heroes.
-
Psh, that's nothing. Kadabra Kill has FOUR: Gravity, Kinetics, Empathy, and Psychic Blast.
-
...That's not quite the point, is it? You have it backwards. Yes, we can fire our blasts at point blank, presently, but that means that Defender secondaries that continue to follow this pattern mean that Defenders can't have attacks that only make sense in melee, like for instance punching someone in the face. Presently, we are only able to punch enemies in the gut, and then only if we take the Fighting pool.
-
I have a Time/Sonic defender who pretty much never dies (softcapped positional and psi defense, and 69% smashing/lethal resist). I have been musing on finding ways to help him hold more aggro, seeing if I might be able to make him into a sort of MacGyvered tank, but he's already got four pools which means Presence is probably a no-go... however, how good are damage procs at drawing aggro? If I put the damage proc from Impeded Swiftness into Time's Juncture, would that help a little at keeping things mad at me?
If I drop Hasten I could take Provoke... but then I would be dropping Hasten. -
I have a Time/Sonic that I love - the guy's practically a tank; easily softcaps his own positional defenses, and has Temp Invulnerability from Power Mastery so he's not in a great deal of danger even when he does get hit. One thing I noticed about Time/Sonic though is that it sucks endurance like delicious candy, and looking at your endurance use and recovery numbers I would be worried about that.
In case you're interested, here's what I run - I know I have Power instead of Leviathan but there might be something useful in here anyway:
EDIT: On closer examination, this build looks a lot like Garent's anyway, so I apologize for redundancy.

Quote:In the King Garment Works neighborhood for blueside, or Hell Forge neighborhood for red, of course.Manufacturing worker: not sure where you would log out.
decreases cost to build enhancments.
My own suggestion: Make the Smuggler's Ships in Talos and IP, and Janus's submarine in both of its instances, locations for the Smuggler/Gunrunner day job badge. -
So can I - it could be very useful to have that option to use with, say, the Ascension Radiance chest piece.

I hope to god that if/when we get to customize pool/epic/patron powers, it's either included with VIP or given to everyone, as it should be. Charging for it would be an act of incredible horribleness... but I would pay. It is a feature for which I have yearned my entire time playing this game. I would seethe with rage as I clicked the "check out" button and curse the marketing people's birth for it, but I would pay.
And then I would complain loudly and indefinitely about not having the points for the optional things I wanted, because look what you made me spend my monthly stipend on. -
At least give us a new two or three mannequins that cycle through every time a new costume set comes out.
C'mon, devs! Use those mannequins for their intended purpose: Enticing people to buy things! -

Quote:I speak not only from my observations of other kins, but my own experiences playing them in the way I find most enjoyable. I have two, one controller and one defender. I'm not suggesting "charging into melee," but with a set like Kinetics where you are frequently close to melee even if not in it, or a set like Time where you're often perfectly safe in melee, an Assault set would not be a bad thing at all. It works for Dominators, and they're squishy too when enemies aren't neutralized. All ranged attacks can hit things that are in melee with the target. Kinetics are supposed to use Fulcrum Shift, Transference, and Transfusion to stay out of melee themselves while staying close enough to allies for them to receive the benefits of the buffs. Sure Kins can charge into melee but they'll die a lot more frequently.

So, just curious... what would a Midnighter toon get? The ability to sit down while drinking tea?
No, really, they all are built of player costume parts except the one Cabal witch and the Mu and Legacy Chain guards for the Cimerora crystal...
