Elvis IS alive... ON THE MOON!

I haven't watched the 4th one starring Harrison Ford yet.

Quote:See Here.PS: the fact that these days the forums seem to have the memory of Leonard Shelby is starting to get annoying. Seriously, the "remember me" checkbox is becoming a sad joke.
Carry on. -

So, my questions to you are;
1. Do you favour the idea of being able to solo EBs/AVs/GMs, if so/not, why?
2. Have you ever soloed an EB/AV/GM, and if so how did you feel afterward?
3. Do you think the dynamic will change after the implementation of the Incarnate system?
4. Whatever else you wish to add.
1. EBs, yes. AVs/GMs - if someone can solo AVs/GMs, great, but I don't feel any pressing need to attempt it.
2. I've soloed plenty of EBs. I'm working my electric/ice tanker through the Maria Jenkins arc right now (between checking the forums).Just soloed Black Swan, Battle Maiden, Neuron, Nightstar, uh... Bobcat, uh... I forget. Siege, though - bah! Even with a boatload of reds, even set at -1/x1, even with the help of Amy Jonsson, couldn't do it. Can't out-damage his <bleeping!> heal.
3. I don't know.
4. I managed to recreate my aunt's broccoli casserole, and I've gotten close on the meatloaf, but I doubt that I'll ever figure out how she made that wonderful chili. -
Quote:Okay. If he bought a month of game time every time a issue was released, and only when issues were released, he'd get all the same content as the rest of us paying all year. What he'd lose would be access to the game in-between issue releases.
That fact alone proves that we're not paying for content and development, because the only thing we lose out on by not paying all year is access to the game.
If everyone did the same thing - only paid for a month whenever a new issue was released - what would happen? -

I hate what this crappy forum software has done to the community.

Quote:I believe BaBs said it, some time ago - here it is:That's why I asked for a link in the first place - the suggestion that someone at NCSoft might have actually said that seemed pretty ridiculous, and I wanted to see it for myself.

Hope that works. -
Quote:Yeah! Take that, stupid pre-orders!Because it makes more sense to sell something you have in stock than to sell something you won't have done for months. Duh.
Anyway. Before all that wedding pack stuff could be 'in stock' and sensibly sold it had to be created. Which means someone had to take the time and put forth the effort create it. Artists. Animators. Whoever else. Time and effort = $$, so the before the wedding pack could pay for anything else it had to pay for itself. Which, evidently, it did.
I bought it. So I helped pay for VEATS and all you people with VEATS - you owe me, big time! -
I searched but didn't see this posted here, so...
I was logging out the other day and while the timer was counting down I was rearranging my character's inspirations. Well, the timer ran out just as I was moving a small red inspiration - then, at the log in screen, the cursor was a blue hand holding a small red inspiration.
I tried to log back in, but couldn't get the Account Password field to become (don't know the proper term) 'active' by clicking with the blue hand holding the inspiration. Using the Tab key got me into the Account Password field, so I typed my password and pressed Enter, which logged me in. But then couldn't select a server. I tried pressing the 'Back To Login' button, but it wouldn't work, either. I had to use ctrl-alt-del to shut down the game and restart.
All the while, the cursor remained a blue fist holding a small red inspiration.
I've done it twice more (on purpose) to make sure it wasn't just a temporary hiccup, and it happened again both times.
So... I guess the moral of the story is, don't pick up an inspiration while you're logging out. -
Quote:The phrase 'server access' is not found in the EULA. See for yourself:Read the EULA. You agree to it each time you log in to play. The only thing the promise is server access, and they allow the loophole that access can be denied under certain circumstances.
http://us.ncsoft.com/en/legal/user-a...agreement.html
If you're using Windows, you should be able to use ctrl+F to bring up the Find function. Type 'server access' in the window. It's not there. 'Phrase not found.'
Now, if by 'server access' you are talking about the 'service' we are paying to access, there are lots of details about that, starting with:
Quote:DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE; NCCOIN

Quote:Boo to 0!HOWEVER. I give power customization a 0 on Kheldians. They don't choose their powers, that's a specific species more than an AT. I think they should stay as they are.
Give them *alternate forms* to change into. Instead of lobster and squid, something like giant space hamster and bat. -
I can now see myself cruising around in the Flarmobile (brilliantly disguised as a dark green '71 Pontiac Catalina or maybe a powder blue '76 AMC Pacer) saying things like "I'm the <bleep! bloop!> Flarstux."
