NO. As every one else said it's far to easy to level and you blow past so much content. I actually disable xp at times so I don't out level contacts.

Quote:Kheldian Well? I don't remember that being mentioned.I'm just assuming he is Incarnate through the Kheldian Well, and not Humanity's.
If not, it raises some interesting questions vis a vis Requiem's Nictus powers, Twilight's Son, Prometheus' comments about the Kheldian Well and the Battalion, and the prospect of Requiem having access to two Wells (humanity's and the kheldian's).
So now Reichs has lost his connection to the well? I didn't quite understand why he was weakend. -
Quote:Excellent ideas. Just don't do perma night/rain. While it might be visually appealing it would make no sense. The new Atlas Park content actually sets up Kings Row even better than before - meetign Icedrone halfway through the Atlas storyline, then ending with Aaron Thiery is a perfect lead in to a zone that explores the vigilante style of crimefighting, with Blue Steel and the history of the Clockwork as an ideal story focus - plus, it also gives a great chance to explore the PPD a bit more - like how do normal beat cops feel about working in the city of heroes? Do they feel like they're always being overshadowed by superpowered crimefighters? Do they ever feel inadequate and undervalued because of it? Do they ever resent it, and would any of them ever be openly hostile to or uncooperative with heroes?

Quote:I've no problem with a high rez version of King's just none of this perma night/rain crap. I think rain is pretty much out as we all know where War Witch stands on that.I disagree. Kings Row is great and all, but visually it has 2004 graphics. It could definitely use some touching up with higher res textures. Higher res doesn't necessarily mean pretty and pristine like new AP. But if it gets new content in the form of vigilante/street level stuff, which I'd absolutely love, the zone really needs to be touched up here or there.
Plus PPD HQ NEEDS an interior. Turn that into a bustling police headquarters with officers working desks, processing gang members, interrogations in back rooms, etc. Introduce us to the chief of police, who can hand out possibly the finale story arc or a low level TF.
It needs arc revamp and zone level adjustments. In fact with the rate we level now days every zone should get a level adjustment if such a thing is possible. -

Quote:Oh HELL NO!I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but another idea the devs suggested to the audience which seemed to get quite a positive response was making any revamp of Kings Row include turining it into a perma-night zone.
Kings is just fine, graphically as it is. It's just so easy to blow past its content, which frankly I don't find all that great. Heck this is where all the Street Level heroes would hang out if we had that kind of game mechanic. Its home to Blue Steel and the PPD. Its arcs should reflect that more and the arcs dealing with the gangs need.... to be better?
Heck instead of a giant graphic revamp of the zone how about we just scrub most of the arcs and put in new modern ones. Ill tell you, in my opinion the last couple of issues new arcs have been pretty killer. It makes some of the older arc look really bad. -
Quote:This! That's if she isn't ret-conned to have always been Positron's life-long friend instead of the Statesman's.
Honestly, I wouldn't want to see something too much more bombastic than the Cyrus Thompson statue in Kings' Row. As others have said, the Statesman probably wouldn't have wanted a parade. I'm not even sure I want an actual statue of the guy, more a memorial monument of some sort, something dedicated to all the good he has done and all the lives he has touched. Even as wretched as him "giving up with a smile" was, that can still be used for a decent memorial - consider it not a memorial to himself, but more to the future heroes who will take up his mantle and the people they will fight to protect.
What I'm saying is I want to see the man treated with a shred of dignity in death. -
Well that was interesting. Everything went okish until BAF. We failed the 1st as we went for badges and just couldn't pull it off. The 2nd one was successful I just wasn't there to see it as my system crashed.
What We've Learned.
I don't like leading I Trials. TF's and teams but that's it. -
So with statues of minor heroes all over Paragon will issue 23 have any note of the WORLDS GREATEST HERO having passed? Will his statue tower over some part of the city? Will there be a memorial site where people can go to mourn or later generations can learn about him?
-
What I'd like to know is where the Statesman memorial is going to be and wheres his gigantic statue. I mean he was the worlds greatest hero, there should be something to note his passing.
Also I'm unclear. They fixed the badge thing but are they leaving the arcs and mentions of States in game? Sounded like they were scrubbing everything about him out of the game. -
Quote:Sorry. Didn't mean to seem like I was criticizing you. Those are good point but I'm not locking any one in for the full ride. It's more like "I'm doing this and if you think its fun come along. No commitments." It may not happen. We'll see. Although the 1st 3 should be easy enough, heck even the BAF but after that people get a little picky about what Trials they run. Or so it seems. It's not a strange concept at all. It is just that I wondered how you were going to organize going from 8 to 16 to 24 to 16, etc. Or if you had plans if more than 8 people wants to run Apex/Tin. Just trying to be helpful in case you didn't think of it.
As to the rushing aspect. I haven't been on a team running missions or trials that hasn't been in a rush for years. -
Quote:Question if I may... is the goal to get 16 people? 2 teams for each Apex, Tin, Sutter, then have 16 for the itrials? (since Lam/MoM only take up to 16 and the others are all 24). Or are you just going to advertise for each and go with the flow? My OCD brain wants to know
Very much go with the flow. This is for fun. If it's easy to max rewards on the TF/Trial we'll do it but this is light and breezy no pressure other then to get to the end. I know that's a strange concept for a lot of you but you might enjoy it. -
Join me Saturday, April 28th beginning at 1pm EST as we run all the TF/Trials that compose the Praetorian War in the order they occur. Apex gets us started. Then Tin Mage, Admiral Sutter, BAF, Lambda, Keys, UGT, TPN and MoM.
-
Say hello to your new favorite horror movie.
-
Just Trials and TFs. So my order is correct? I can never remember if it's Apex then Tin Mage or the other way around.
-
Correct me if I have any of these out of order but the various TFs and Incarnate Trails should be as follows. Admiral Sutter, Tin Mage II, Apex, BAF, Lambda, Keys, UGT, TPN, MoM, Danger Diabolique. Did I get that right? Did I miss anything?

Tried it twice yesterday and couldn't even get past the 1st boss. 1st time most of the team bought it at the same time and Mona died shortly there after. 2nd time we were doing ok and then Mona died again.
How about a basic strategy brake down? -
Jesus... The Goons might come back. I hadn't thought of that.

Be there. Aloha.
Nice work tonight. Had 5 teams by the end. Still haven't gotten a team a second plant yet.
