    And as you said I am a regen - no downtime for me, I can just toggle up and continue fighting.

    I would say that being able to get back up *if* you faceplant is better. What do you do when your MoG runs out and you're still surrounded?
    Besides, being put down only to get straight back up seems more tenatious imho.

    MoG is fine if you time it right, either not engaging a group if it's about to run out or watching to see when it does run out and then fleeing.

    I assume the regen didn't have MoG then - a power which is pretty much required to tank AVs. Hammertime can easily tank them with MoG as long as they don't get lucky.
  4. People always say that, but I don't see what the problem is. With IR and SJ, I have never fallen into a mob - people do realise you can steer when jumping, yeah?

    That's just dumb then. What's the point of a Psi defence power if it isn't good enough to help against AV's.

    I enjoyed my attempts to tank the Psi clockwork king, however I did stock up on Luck inspirations and pop them like candy, relying on Dull Pain and a healer to keep me alive. However I was under the impression that a stone tank or DA scrapper didn't have to got to the extreme lengths I did to do it.

    I wouldn't change it for the world, it's a really fun set!
  12. I am not a fan of AoE immobs, although now I have got Fire Mastery the containment boost could be good.

    Wormhole was horrible in PvE - if they sorted out the knockback it would be an excellent power but I found I couldn't reliably reposition mobs without the knockback scattering them everywhere (even against walls etc).

    The slots in Health and Hover? Well, I had too many and I had no where else to really put them

    I don't really use Lift that much at all so I do think the slots in Health will be best. Probably.
  13. PvP isn't my cup of tea - at the moment anyway. We'll see what happens with CoV.

    I considered getting Conserve Power but to be honest I'm not sure I'll need it - with 6-slotted Stamina and 6-slotted QR I could run my toggles without any EndReds and my end was fine. With the endurance discount, EndReds and Claws' low-end attacks I should still be fine. I've got Focus as a ranged attack so Laser Beam Eyes is pretty pointless.

    Energy Torrent? Maybe, but (ignoring the fact I'd need another Epic Power to get it) I have a perfect chain in Strike, Focus, Strike, Eviscerate and I use Shockwave when opening fights and then whenever it is recharged - I honestly don't think I'd need it - remember Claws is less of an AoE fighter than Spines, most of my time is spent killing single targets.

    Edit: Not entirely sure why there aren't any EndReds in Tough, take the slots out of Boxing and put them into Tough instead.

  15. After the wonderful ED changes were announced, I posted the following build on the Player Guides forum. Sadly, it was lost so here it is again in all it's diversified glory. I had about 10 to many slots which is always nice, so I was forced to 4-slot Hasten, slot Swift, put far too many heals in Dull Pain and slot Boxing, an attack I never use. Excellent!

  16. Well! After working out a respec for one character I don't intend to play again (my defender) I shall now respec this one - one I used to love.

    Most slotting is left unchanged. Super Mike will really suffer from the loss of perma-Hasten though, although the 'diversification' of adding 2xRecRed will hopefully help - although not in powers that already had RecReds slotted like Fulcrum and GDF. I also changed my Epic from Psi Mastery to Fire - the perma Mez Protection was the only reason I had that pool and without it I'm going to be forced to completely change my playstyle - no more sitting next to the tank in the middle of mobs. Thanks for taking the fun out of my build, devs!

    This is my proposed build with added diversification. Yes really - I did chose to slot one disorient duration! The main problem was that I had too many slots - hence slotting of Swift and Health.
