I have done many CC's and your time frame is possible but cutting it close. I have to organize the AE Challenge so i cannot attend but i will put it up on the website and message boards so other members can decide to attend, good luck with your Ball.

Champion i heard is the 4th most populated server. But i have noticed many regulars have moved elsewhere and some have brought friends from other servers here.

The others are correct, you need to be open minded about what type of team you are looking for and get in with the regular players.

UC your teams are all hammer teams and if he is not one of your regulars, that really doesnt help the OP (that message is meant for all sg's and not meant as a slight against UC, he is a very good sg leader).

Many large sg's run teams everyday and most of the day. Use the other channels such as Request. If you stand in Atlas you will see the same sg's represented, talk to them, ask them if they would like to run anything.

ALL-OUT-WAR almost always has a few people on and run many teams. We invite new people constantly to the teams no matter how many members are on, that's how we find new members, by observing who has a good attitude and is fun to team with.

BTW you better listen to my advice, i am one of those dreaded....CANADIANS!

Unless your going to hold this at 7 pm instead of 8 count all of AOW out because your event is going to run into the 8 Billion AE Challenge which we are hosting as part of our 2nd yr anniversary. We have a thread with a list of events running the whole day. We are having a break between 7-9 pm est as a courtesy so people can go to the Hamidon Raid that Amygdala normally runs.

I would accommodate your event but we have advertised this event scheduled for 9pm est for 2 months now and i cannot change it to be fair to everyone.

There seems to be some confusion.

The schedule was made so you can pick and choose which events you want to attend.

We tried to include a variety of events so there is a little of something for everyone.

We brought out the schedule way in advance so you can prepare for your favorite event(s) and plan your day around it.

If you read all of the first post you would know, only the very last event requires you to be from the same sg. The early morning event is for PuG teams.

The PvP and Gladiator events are for everyone, so be prepared to face the vets, i will not have time to host 2 events, one for vets and one for noobs, so be prepared to face anyone who shows up.

Anyone wanting to be a CC Judge must show up at least 15 minutes before the event and let me know and i will talk you through the procedures, it is really easy. There will be one judge from AOW and 1 Judge from another sg.

I know i was being overly sarcastic, but the point is simple. PvPers "say" they want more people to pvp with, then show how little they care about anyone else. Then when no one wants anything to do with them they are surprised.

Most of us come here to have fun. Fun is not spending months building a decent PvE build then converting or making a PvP build just so some juveniles can show off how good they are.

That's not even the major issue, which is, most of these so called expert PvPers only go after people they know they can beat then proceed to do so like a pitbull with a chihuahua in it's mouth. The attitude of almost all pvp'ers is to take advantage of others, which is why i do not respect most of you or team with you.

I actually managed to get on a sewer team, i didnt know they were uncommon (i avoid dozens a day on Champion server).

There was about 50 people under Atlas Statue and someone (get ready for it....) EXPLODED! BOOM! 48 people said "How did you do that?". So....like the Noob that i am.....answered "Buy the Cyborg Pack!". 48 voices rang out "How do you do that?". OMG!

I had to log, i couldnt stop laughing.

All AOW events have been fair to everyone involved!

PvP and AE Challenges are based on team skill and it's not possible to judge them unfairly.

Costume Contests have always been run with an AOW rep AND a rep from another sg and will continue to be. This ensures that no preferential treatment will be given to any one sg. No CC has been won by an AOW member (in a way this has worked against our members in an effort to be more fair). We have done 23 CC's already and they have always been fair.

If your so concerned about how the events will be run just contact me and get involved. We need judges for the CC's.

As long as your switching take PoN, LES, and EXILES with you and maybe PvP will grow on this server.

Elf'er did PvE? Who knew?

Met with EXILES for a pvp match the other day and had to cancel it. You guys never learn, you dont challenge a 2 WEEK old pvp sg then show up with 7-8 Uber-Purple lvl 50's with no intention of making the teams fair and expect others to compete.
PvP never became popular because of this attitude. You are bullies and PvP is not dead, it never was alive to begin with.

I talked with Pingu the other day and he said they had challenged Stryke-Force to Base Raids and PvP but Stryker always said not interested. I asked Stryker 2 yrs ago why we did not PvP or Base Raid, he said "There is no point to it". Hate to say it but Stryker is right! There are no benefits, it is boring, and the players who do it are way to often juvenile.

This is known as CHAMPION THE COMMUNITY SERVER, there is a reason for that, as the above people mentioned there are tons of great players and sg's here. Just come on and talk to people. Most of the sg's mentioned have people on at all hours and are very willing to help and team with you. Use Request Channel and i am sure you will get lots of responses.

Ask any member of ALL-OUT-WAR for a team and you will usually get one and any member can invite you to the sg if you decide you want to join.

There are soooo many good sg's big and small - Hammers Of Justice, United Heroes Brigade, Pheonix Phalanx, Guardian Wolf Pack, Life Of Glory, Justice Force, Confusion, High Society Order, Basement Storage, IIIIIIIII, Vengeful Pharoahs, and more.

I have never kicked anyone from team, it is against my policy, unless the person is disruptive to the team and refuses to take a warning or two.

3rd part of your paragraph is wronge Cat, your title itself is directed at new pvp'ers.

How to detect vets? Not necessary! What you should be concerned about is the competitors themselves. When they arrive right click them and check INFO to see if they have tons of set bonuses, if they do then they should be in a different category from those who don't. Really simple to do.

2 competitions - vet (with set bonuses) and new (those without set bonuses), simple.

Sorry you never learn, your event still pits 5 yr vets purpled out against 3 month vets with no bonuses. Your still convinced someone with set bonuses giving them 100-500% damage bonus, 90% defence, and 20-30% more health and stamina is on equal ground with a new person? The only way to make it fair for new people is to have 2 seperate classes.

You have lots of great ideas for vets but your still in the dark about new people.

ALL-OUT-WAR-RAIDERS (our 9th division) has just begun and already has 23 PvPers in it. The community will grow, it will just take some time.

You probably came on early on in the morning, it is kind of dead for a couple of hours if your in Atlas. Click TEAM, then FIND on top of your chatbox and you will see a list of who is on and in what zone. Many of us were probably in another zone.

Yes Angel you can enter all the events during the day and even compete in all categories of the CC as well, so plz keep your heroes and villz handy in RWZ so you can switch fast!

This maybe a topic for another thread but yes Targus ALL-OUT-WAR-RAIDERS (our 9th division) is our official PvP sg and we already have 16 members (we will accept more but you have to work well with a team before we will consider you for membership).
I am sure Targus you would be pleased to know Habachiz has challenged RAIDERS to a match of 8vs8 against EXILES for a soon to be announced Saturday. I will be contacting 7 Raiders for our team then let Hibachiz know when we will be available. We will have 2 teams ready for Dec.13th but i dont think you guys want to wait that long.

There are many ways to do a build and since there are 3 types of warshades - Human, Squid, and Lobster a person has to find thier favorite type and build around it. I prefer SQUID. Snixnix wanted to know about other builds so here is Lunatik Frenzy just to show you another possible AND viable type.

Before you say this is a terrible build remember i am not a pro but for me this works. I have been defeated 3 times in PvE and 0 times in PvP, yes this is my undefeated PvP Warshade and i have been in arena and RV a few times

Yes i decked this build out to allow me to fly high, blast everything, have increased health and stamina, while having a wide range of resistance and defence (low defence and resist but still enough to keep me going), also little to no endurance problems.
Remember i made this for SQUIDFORM. Dwarfform is my backup against scrappers and to help when we dont have a tank on the team. I am also still primarily a PvE person who occasionally PvP's. Humanform is not important to my playstyle since all my other charcters are human, squid and dwarf is something different i can enjoy.

The supergroup ALL-OUT-WAR was founded Dec. 15th 2007.

Our celebration will be held on Dec. 13th (Sunday) since it is the closest weekend date.

Dayplanner: it is in EST, you will have to figure out your timezone. Australia, Brisbane is 14 hours difference and Glasgow is 4 hours diff.

9 AM EST - 800 MILLION AE CHALLENGE: Mission will be announced at start of event - This will be held in ATLAS AE Building, lvl 50's recommended.

This event will run approximately 1 hour, there will be prizes for top 10 fastest teams through the mission. Grand prize will net each member of the winning team 100 Million. This means even if your on the 10th place team you will get 5 Million.

You do not have to be from the same sg for this event, this is an open event.

***VILLIANS have been excluded from this days events, AOW is a SG. Not one villian has helped me get Infamy (EVER!) so villians will not be included in our events!***

9 PM EST - MAIN EVENT - AOW 8 BILLION AE CHALLENGE - Atlas Park AE Building. Prepare for lag! Register your team prior to 10 minutes before the event! This is soloable but is better with a team.
All teammates must be from the same sg, yes you can mix divisions, so UHB and ULB can team, same with DarkGuard and DarkGuard-Apocalypse as an example.
Event will run 30-75 minutes.
Top 10 teams through the mission listed below will win prizes. Winners on the 1st place team will get 1 Billion Infl. each (8 people = 8 Billion in prize money, that's how we determined the name for the event). So even if you solo and come in 10th you will still recieve 100 Million for your trouble

Mission #343709 - The Army Of Dragons (This mission will be tweaked just before the start to add a password and a few surprises such as a GM or couple of AV's switched to add more excitement but will run almost exactly as it is now)

I have been thinking about what many of you have said, so i have included an event that i hope satisfies most of you. You are right - it is not fair to force people to work together and get into each others sg. I saw lots of events for individuals and none for large sg's which is why i made this event the way it is. In the 2nd yr anniversary thread i am about to post there will be an ae challenge for individuals, friends, and Villz

BTW: if you would simply send me a curteous message such as...."Fel could you please add .....event.....i think it would be more fair to everyone", then i would not be so snarky and would probably honour your request.

Oh i forgot to mention Silas, you will find Americans drop the u from most words such as Colour (Color) and Honour (Honor). They pronounce names of cities the same way - Dubois, NY is pronounced Dew Boys instead of Dew-bwa

Or if you read any of my early threads, convince 7 friends to join your sg. One of the points to this event was to convince people it is worthwhile to have an (1) alt in another sg to help each other build it up and your friendship.

The same people are online and work together consistantly, so it should not be that difficult for you guys to help each other.

We all want the same things ingame, we just want them at different times.

As for practicing what you preach, i am currently in 5 different sg's (and active within 10 days in each), but my primary one is AOW.

There has been alot of good teamwork lately by villians and i know who they are. They are from Untouchables, Exiles, DarkGuard, Hammers of Justice, and Protecters of Neverland, so yes the best villians lately do have sg affiliates.

Just ask Targus and Elf-Stalker since they run many very well trained groups. The same names keep coming up, that is not by coincedence, they simply have had a lot of time to perfect their tactics and have made the most of it.

Hmmm maybe i have it backwards? Many villians have come heroside? Have to ask the pro's themselves. Targus and Elf did you guys start Redside or Blueside or do you feel you tried to be good at both at the same time? I picked these guys because i see them more than others.

Just an update, i will be starting a new thread next weekend with details of all the events and times for the AOW Anniversary.

As for the 8 billion ae challenge i published it as #343709 - The Army Of Dragons. The final version will be pretty close to what it is now. I am looking for feedback so any suggestions for it you can use in the feedback section at missions end or leave a post in this thread.

Why so many allies? So it can be solo'd! GM's are tough! I am trying to balance how long the event is, i hope it runs 30-60 minutes.
