Champion has lots of great people; and speaking as a member of Hammers of Justice... there are a few pretty decent supergroups around too. It's just not easy to find everyone in AP these days. BMT of Champion is a great global channel to find people, but it's invite only atm I think. One of the OPs would be glad to send an invite, I'm sure.
I'm sure others will make the offer, but if you want to try out Hammers we'd welcome you with no obligations on your part. Coalition is pretty friendly, though sometimes quirky, and we don't mind questions about the sg, or ourselves. We also are pretty active later in the evening/night so people on the West Coast might like our teaming at times convenient to them.

Welcome to Champion. There are a lot of great players both blue and red side here.

1)Don't get them wet.
2)Don't feed them after midnight unless it's loaded with chocolate.

Like Talon said, you definitely want to get an invite to BMT Champion channel. It's a great way to get in on any TF's and teams that may be forming. You might make some great friends along the way too.

Champion isn't abnormal in that there's plenty of nice and nasty people. Other than Virtue, I've only dipped into other servers so take my observations with a grain of salt. Champion has a couple huge SGs, and a ton of little ones. Champion has the most Tankers built to scrank (or something 'sides tanking). Champion has a lot of server events and enough people hosting TFs from the boards that if you're willing to schedule some CoH time it will be a grand old time.
There used to be an awful, awful SG here on Champion that scared people away in droves. In my fantasy world, you were offended by one of its former members. If you're looking for a big friendly SG that doesn't just farm or PvP I would definitely echo the previous sentiments towards United Heroes Brigade or Hammers of Justice.
You're more than welcome to join us, but our SG isn't anything special. I am though. I'm humble, too. So if you're playing on Champion shoot me a tell @Gilia1. I only play blueside there, though.

Champion is a great server, and although there are many great SGs you can join, don't feel like you have to make a choice right away. Our main global channel 'BMT of Champion' is a great place to start in order to find teams, join TFs, discuss badge opportunities and participate in server events. For example, we've got weekly events such as Task Force Tuesdays, RWZ raids on Thursday evenings, and Hami raids on Sunday evenings. There are other events posted on these forums on a regular basis. So my advice is that if you're looking for an SG, start by joining in on some of these events to gain exposure to what's out there.

tyvm. I'll look for you when I'm next on. Although my computer has been very flakey recently so hopefully it will hold out. Crashed out to a total shut down last night after Taz offered a spot on his team. Took almost 30 minutes to get back on. *sigh* (I really need a new rig. sure, sure. been saying that for over a year. )

I run TFs and mishes daily with members of many great SGs on Champion...UHB, JUSTICE FORCE, AOW and many more plus absolutely love my SG HOJ which I saw you have already been invited to...admittingly they are the only reason I still play the game...we always have a great time and a good bunch of people and have everything u need to make you a better player
This is known as CHAMPION THE COMMUNITY SERVER, there is a reason for that, as the above people mentioned there are tons of great players and sg's here. Just come on and talk to people. Most of the sg's mentioned have people on at all hours and are very willing to help and team with you. Use Request Channel and i am sure you will get lots of responses.
Ask any member of ALL-OUT-WAR for a team and you will usually get one and any member can invite you to the sg if you decide you want to join.

So I've been playing on an east coast server for a long time, my sg kinda faded out, and I've been looking for a new place to hang my hat, especially on a west coast server as I live in one of the five states that touches the pacific ocean. I've heard Champion isn't bad, but I'm thinking I heard wrong - anyone want to show me otherwise? Conflict already occured with me starting a lvl 3, bah. All I asked was what the sg was about, but guess that wasn't cool. Seriously not looking for anything but good, chill people - not a pl'er or way into pvp, though I can handle that. I've got some good chars there. I also have a couple of 50's I can transfer over once I find a good crew. So yep, what else you want to know? Or should I just move on guys?
