You know, that is an absolutely fantastic build.

I mean, except for Eye of the Magus being selected, 53% of your next end gain being used by your toggles, your pet which can be multiple-summoned only having 70% recharge, the +regen unique in a character with low base hp and +28% from bonuses, Shadow Step costing the full base 13 endurance and not having its range enhanced, a purple set with no significant endurance reduction in a toggle that eats just under .6 a second, a main ranged blast with only 26% accuracy and the rercharge on Eclipse not maxed out.

Other than that, its a great build!

Congrats.

turn 'em off
replace all the def/rech lotgs with 7.5%

realize eclipse is perma with at lest 4 seconds up before it wears off
mire is 5 sec off perma
2-3 pets
2 nukes with 1:30 downtime each

as for teleport
+stealth is nice
why even bother trolling that one?

did you really just question absolute amazement in inky aspect?
+tohit debuff is reallllly nice.

Why not troll for the weaknesses?
Like?
Ummm?
Oh yeah. doctored wounds is stupid
it should be prof shifter
Yeah...
That IS an absolutely fantastic build.

Actually, for the sake of figuring out what the build could do I already turned off the Eye of the Magus accolade.

Replacing the def/rech IOs with 7.5s brings you from 80% to 102.5%. Very nice, except the pet still only has under 70% rech enh and you only take it at 47 despite it being opened at 32 (where you prioritize boxing, tough and weave).

Eclipse is perma, that is definitely true. I'm not sure which power you mean as a second nuke with 1:30 recharge but I'm guessing you mean Unchain Essence. Which in order to do what you say it does, requires a team mate to die every 83 seconds, right in the middle of a spawn. Okay.

Also I wasn't even talking about Inky Aspect, I actually think your slotting in that is fine, if unnecessarily expensive for little gains. I was actually talking about Orbiting Death, which in your build eats .6 end a second (2/3rds of all your other toggles combined).

+Stealth is very nice indeed, but not at the cost of underslotting your main travel power, especially since you take Hasten and have a +stealth power in your secondary.

If it works for you and you do great things, awesome. I would, however, hesitate to call it a fantastic build.

first: unchain essence works on a mob. yes a mob has to die every 83 seconds for me to nuke. wow. tough.

second: orbiting death has a chance to proc damage. it is a fantastic power.

third: stygian circle. end is not a problem

fourth: yes it sucks to have 1 slotted tp and no ss. I live with it to be powerful.

fifth: why the heck would i ever take ss when I already HAVE a travelpower?

as for pet slotting...
2-3 pets is quite nice. moar would be better yes, but have yah ever seen one of those in action?

Please at least know the powers of an archetype before you "critique" a build.

Ahhh, my bad, you're totally right about Unchain Essence. My bad, sorry

However, I would still argue that a purple damage proc could be much better used in a power that you use yourself, rather than a toggle. I think this because in a click power you control when it checks for the proc to a go off, whereas in a toggle it checks every 10s regardless of if any/how many enemies are in range. For this reason, I prefer to have purple procs in click powers.

As for Stygian Circle, it is true that it's a great +end power and should not be discounted, dead bodies are not always available and in terms of hp/end necessary for my build to function, I'd rather build on the side of caution.

As for the travel power, I'm not 100% on saying you should take SS as that is obviously a personal preference deal. However, I would say that TP can be an awkward travel power and that if you want to use it as your main way to get around, a slot or two to get great values would be well placed (especially for stuff like speed TFs, if you never do speed TFs you can disregard this however )

Hope that helps to clarify.

I would recommend taking eclipse as soon as it is available.

Also, if you can afford it, the panacea set is better than doctored wounds.

And I agree with Silas about proc placement.

again read disclaimer please

as for the proc placement i'd rather it have a permanent chance to go off 16 times every 10 seconds rather than when i click.

I thought it was referring to slot placement level. Didn't realize it was about power choice level as well. It can be hard to give advice on a build without knowing what levels powers were taken at.

I obviously can't speak for Kahlan, but I was looking at it as an end result build and making my suggestions from there >.>

Edit: my experience of Kahlan says p.sure he would have been looking at it the same way (as an end goal build)

End of all hope used mids for me as I fed him powers and slots.
This is a progression of the same build.
It has changed again.
Ninja run has been added
combat jumping dropped
picked up maneuvers

costs a lot more end so i changed penumbral shield's aegis to steadfast protection for the +1.5% end recovery

added something like 1.5% end recovery and +2%def to all

end heavy toon. no pun intended.

There are many ways to do a build and since there are 3 types of warshades - Human, Squid, and Lobster a person has to find thier favorite type and build around it. I prefer SQUID. Snixnix wanted to know about other builds so here is Lunatik Frenzy just to show you another possible AND viable type.

Before you say this is a terrible build remember i am not a pro but for me this works. I have been defeated 3 times in PvE and 0 times in PvP, yes this is my undefeated PvP Warshade and i have been in arena and RV a few times
For all you negative people out there i got my levels in missions and streetsweeping only. No PL, Farms, or TF's.

LUNATIK FRENZY: All IO's and Specials slot for lvl 50 unless otherwise noted.

Ebon Eye: Accuracy
Absorption: 3 Karma (lvl 30)
Gravimetric Snare: Accuracy
Gravity Shield: 6 Impervium Armor
Dark Nova: 6 Gaussian's Synchronized Fire Control
Swift: Flight Speed
Shadowblast: Accuracy
Penumbral Shield: Resist Damage
Shadowcloak: Defence Buff
Health: 6 Numina's Convalescence
Gravity Well: Accuracy
Stamina: 6 Performance Shifter
Black Dwarf: 6 Efficacy Adaptor
Dark Detonation: Accuracy
Hasten: Recharge Reduction
Essence Drain: Accuracy
Stygian Cycle: Heal
Nebulous Form: Recharge Reduction
Gravitic Emination: Accuracy
Unchain Essence: Accuracy
Dark Extraction: Accuracy
Quasar: Damage
Stygian Return: Heal
Twilight Shield: Resist Damage

---------------------------------------------

NOVA FORM:

Shadow Step: Endurance Reduction
Shadow Recall: Interrupt Reduction
Dark Nova Bolt: 6 Devistation
Dark Nova Blast: 6 Apocalypse
Dark Nova Emination: Accuracy
Dark Nova Detonation: 6 Force Feedback

----------------------------------------------

DWARF FORM:

Black Dwarf Strike: 6 Mako's Bite
Black Dwarf Smite: 6 Touch Of Death (lvl 40)
Black Dwarf Mire: 6 Obliteration (lvl 30)
Black Dwarf Drain: 6 Theft Of Essence (lvl30)
Black Dwar Step: Endurance Reduction (you could add range but it has such good range i went with end. red.)
Black Dwarf Antagonize: 6 Perfect Zinger

Yes i decked this build out to allow me to fly high, blast everything, have increased health and stamina, while having a wide range of resistance and defence (low defence and resist but still enough to keep me going), also little to no endurance problems.
Remember i made this for SQUIDFORM. Dwarfform is my backup against scrappers and to help when we dont have a tank on the team. I am also still primarily a PvE person who occasionally PvP's. Humanform is not important to my playstyle since all my other charcters are human, squid and dwarf is something different i can enjoy.

With a tri-form WS you really don't need health and stamina since you should be changing forms a lot to be effective, but hey that's just my experience with a WS.

I'll post my Warshade build later.

It isn't Human Form, and I personally think it is silly to be Human Form only.

You miss out on the double Mire and the inherent damage boost of the squid form.

The screams from the haters, it's got a nice ring to it.

tweaked more with ninja run

gained 3% rech, 4%or so def, +6%tohit, and got my kb prot up to -16 kb
lost health and regen
a little resists and i mean little

Many things are viable.

I wouldn't argue your build's use and utility (I did not really look at it at all).

I would only argue if it's the best you can get out of the archetype.

I agree with bronx. the build you are currently using is very strong but I feel that making it tri-form would be better. Double mire, eclipse, and nova all at once? Pure sexxeh

But do whatever is the most fun for you
