  3. Thanks for the tip! I bought some enhancements and was fightning a city map at -1/x8 with no bosses, but will definitely try this.

One question, I searched and found the inspcombine macros...I added a $$powexecname jab/punch/haymacker to them, so I can just keep attacking and combining...is there any way to have these macros get the power icon instead of the gray circle?
  4. This is my build, with leadership. Is not extremely expensive if you are willing to grind a few alignement merits. The only thing I miss is Petrifying Gaze, I will try to fit in when new Mids come with ATO sets, probably dropping recall friend

Hami-Os can be changed by any def/end IO

EDIT: Posted wrong build, this one is mine

  5. Yes but all I have found are meant to be played by a level 50. My own brute is level 19 now, ive been playing a city mission that locks you at 1 and has 32 spawns of 1 boss, which seems ok, but wondering if there is something quicker
  6. Hi all,

Im levelling a brute now for the purpose of farming. I´m trying to find a good AE mission for levelling, but couldnt find any.

Can anyone give me a hint here?

Also, out of curiosity, since ive never played AE before, where do you spend your tickets? I guess that while im levelling I should just get rare salvages for selling?

    Thanks!
  7. Welcome to the world of ED
  8. Willing to let it go for 1.9b, need the inf nao >_<
  9. Are there any badges that are only atainable as Hero (not as Vig) or as Villain (not as Rogue)?

I tried checking the wiki, but didnt found anything (granted, I didnt checked every single of the 1300+ badges :P )

    Thanks!

I didnt mean to "chop" anything. I just wanted to answer specifically to those 2 points. Yes, its lazy, I could have quoted those 2 parts.

Still, my point is right. If want to call it rude, be my guest

Look, i'll wont chop anything this time:

It sure does not look like it.

The Devs designed a tool that if no one (or few people) formed pre-set leagues and started a Trial would work okay. But we have been conditioned since the game began to pre-form teams for all content, missions, task forces, monster killing, etc. That is how we always roll. The fact that they seemed shocked that we would pre-form leagues and teams to do the hardest content in the game actually flummoxes me. Sometimes I wonder if they ever play video games, much less this video game.

But in the end this tool has never worked the way it was designed since it was designed for a community conditioned to never form teams of friends, channel mates, and peeps hanging near them. It was designed for peeps raised in Praetoria I think. Walk to the machine, press button, accept outcome.
Sorry, but the tools is working exactly as intended. When people queue, you get a a group. When people pre-form, you dont. Hardly the devs fault that we chose to pre-form, they have no control over that.

They gave us the tool they could: Something that will put people together. If people is already together, the tool is not working because we are not suplying it with whats needed: people to group.

    Happy now?

I plan to do the DA content occassionally late at night when people aren't on to do trials, but the progression rate won't be remotely comparable to how fast you can incarnate out a toon via trials.
This is true. But honestly, I think the problem here is that the iTrials are too rewarding, not that DA is too slow. A T4 per day (even more, at your rate) seem too fast for me
  12. Yes, the problem is that Sals Badgehunters in full, and there is not enough movement in Union Taskforces (at least compared to what Im used to see in Virtue's global channels)

So please, when you advertise something in Sals, make sure yo do it in Union TFs too, a lot of people (me included) would really appreciate it

I slot a full Blood Mandate set and call it a day
  14. Is doable and not that expensive to perma-PA, since you have chronoshift. You have low -regen so GMs may be a problem. /Rad and /Cold will provide much more -regen.

/Rad is more all-purpose, while /Cold is a single target debuffing beast (and you get sleet to help a bit in the AoE). But /Cold will be much more expensive to perma-PA since it lacks a recharge buff

/Time gets you nice buffs/debuffs, a heal, a single target buff for phantom, and a recharge buff with which you can easily perma hasten/pa/chronoshift. But as I said it lacks in the -regen.

EDIT: All of them will solo easily, but slowly, since you lack control on your damage (4 uncontrollable pets) and no aoe outside of APP

I'm 110% sure that the problem there was /Elec :P Try a different secondary, like /Fire or /Ice (or /Dark to keep the theme) and tell us

If you're not in a hurry about it, you can build anything you like without having to do things in the game you don't enjoy.
I wasnt implying that to be some sort of second job :P Most of it (reward merit and alig. merit "farming") can be done during normal play. Im usually like you, I get the hard stuff (lotgs, numina/miracle) with merits and buy cheap the rest. Sometimes I just buy 5 recipes, I keep one, craft and sell the other 4, and my enhance comes free or even at a profit, for 1 min of extra "work" :P

Sadly, those exist. I've seen a few people in DFB, that after explaining all they have to do, the open with fireball/rain of fire/insertAoEHere. And they are not newbies. One time I had that happen to me. The AoE happy guy already had the Badge, so that means that he simply couldnt be bothered to do it again.

I like the idea, you could get for example 1 bar of XP, 1 Incarnate Shard, 1 Astral, whatever, for getting a badge you already have (only in trials/iTrials, ofc). Maybe with a cooldown of 20 hours (or 1 week if the reward is one empyrean)
  20. With an empty insp tray? I can do that in a level 1 Brute. Your point?

Happens in pretty much every game, in City of X is just more notorious because, generally speaking, the pve crowd is much much more friendly. But everytime Im bored at work and check the pvp forums reminds me of games with far worse community like Rift, or heaven forbid, even WoW

    Maybe I'm missing something?
Yesterday (or 2 days ago) I saw a CC with 1bill prize :P

Anyway, if money is such a problem, you can do some of the following:

    - Farm (missions or AE) for drops/tickets
    - Farm alignment merits to buy highly desired recipes and sell them. Or just get random rolls
    - Farm reward merits to convert them to a-merits (or just roll them, too)
    - Play the market

Any of the above will get you steady money. Pick yours
