Levelling a SS/Fire Brute: AE?

Hi all,

Im levelling a brute now for the purpose of farming. I´m trying to find a good AE mission for levelling, but couldnt find any.

Can anyone give me a hint here?

Also, out of curiosity, since ive never played AE before, where do you spend your tickets? I guess that while im levelling I should just get rare salvages for selling?

Just search fire farm in AE, there should be a million of them.

Yes but all I have found are meant to be played by a level 50. My own brute is level 19 now, ive been playing a city mission that locks you at 1 and has 32 spawns of 1 boss, which seems ok, but wondering if there is something quicker

Search CEBR in AE. There are a bunch of farms set to level one, and if you keep popping purples and reds, you stay damage capped and defense softcapped, while your blazing aura kills them all. See, at level one, brutes still have their outrageous damage cap, while other AT's don't get to hit their cap until ~lvl20. So the amount of damage your aura does is enough to take out a minion with only one or two pulses, while LTs and bosses take 3-4 pulses. Keep using ST on the bosses, and they'll go down a few seconds faster. Just be sure to pop at least 4 purples and a few reds BEFORE attacking the enemies, or you'lll go down pretty fast. Set to x8 and enjoy.

Thanks for the tip! I bought some enhancements and was fightning a city map at -1/x8 with no bosses, but will definitely try this.

One question, I searched and found the inspcombine macros...I added a $$powexecname jab/punch/haymacker to them, so I can just keep attacking and combining...is there any way to have these macros get the power icon instead of the gray circle?

No not that im aware. Also please do get rare salvage WW is running dangerously low and the prices are consequently rocketing

I find that the popular "Fire!" map is an adequate fire map for ss/fire brutes.

Another thing you might want to do is invest in the hand grenades temp power, it'll make it go that much faster. But yeah, like Little Whorn said, the Fire! map is good for self PLing. I would CEBR with hand grenades until you get Foot Stomp and some slots to devote to it, and then switch to Fire!

My little brute is already level 32, amazing the speed of self PLing. Thanks all for your advices Mind having a look at my build, please? I know there are a lot around, and I got a few ideas of them, so I think this one should be okish

Strip out the def just stick to 20% fire def. If you cannot kill enemies fast enough to drop 2 lucks in a minute then probs need to go back to the drawing board.

Also more rech > more def (for farming AE fire maps anyway)

Eh, I dunno. I like building fire defense to the 30's on my SS/Fire because it means I can turn everything into reds and never need purples. My current build has ~35% fire defense and foot stomp is still up every 6 seconds before FF/Frenzy/Ageless are even considered. Good enough for me.

Ive been playing that FIRE! map (the one that says its updated for 21.5), but I cant seem to hit the ticket cap even at 54x8 (I only clear the first bit, with the 2 breakable objects). I usually get between 400-600 tickets (double with finish bonus). What Im doing wrong?
