Critique: PvP BS/Regen Scrapper
-yer gonna want about 31~41 kb protection. Integration gives 10.
31 should protect you from things like Levitate and Lift.
41 will protect against the different types of Power Push.
45-47 to stop Force Bolts (rarely used)
don't quote me on the numbers.
-You're gonna want HS and Hack.
-I wouldn't go for defense at all. I've heard melee's dont get nerfed as much on defense, but its still pretty terrible (check the numbers while in zone and see what you think).
-I wouldn't attack with any cones or aoe's in pvp as a general rule (poor damage).
-Blaze Mastery is way too good in pvp. Char has base damage of 296!
-Super Jump is pretty much required..you can make anything work, but this pretty important.
I don't use scrapper's in pvp for the most part, but this is what I'm thinking.

I wouldn't recommend BS/Regen in general (or melee ATs in general), but that build just makes it 10x worse.

Man, the PVP folks give this game a bad name... Not that there are too many of them, but I've never seen any other "sub-sect" of this game be as rude and downright unhelpful as the few people who PVP. The min/maxers are nice compared to the PVP crowd, and the RP'ers make them all look like Satan in comparison.

Just read above. The OP clearly is bringing a sword to a gunfight and is going to be a purple puking piƱata in PVP. His build reeks of PVE experiences that have zero...even negative...consequences in PVP. That is what people who don't PVP find shocking. They can't comprehend why the PVP game is so different and get offended when told that their good/great PVE build is crap for PVP. And that's the "fix" the devs have tried to apply to PVP for years, always to the detriment of the PVP game.
"PVP-friendly" is an oxymoron.
To the OP. I have a BS/Regen. Years ago it worked in PVP. It still can work in zone PVP but not competitively. But speaking from experience, you will get grounded/sandboxed by any number of powers, unable to reach your opponent, they will debuff the snot out of you and just hovershoot you repeatedly until dead. And then do it to you repeatedly, calling their friends over to take a turn at you and using you for farm material for drops. Go PVP with your build and use it as a learning experience.

Adding defense to a Regen doesn't help in PvP, especially not S/L defense because very little of the incoming damage you will be facing will be S/L.
(Admittedly I don't recall if defense is made global in PvP like resistance is, I don't think so though)
You want as much recharge as possible.
And I thought melee ATs with solid mez protection didn't need extra KB protection? Seeing as how Integration also includes 10,000% KB resistance I thought it would be a non issue.
Pick up leviathan Mastery for Hibernate and you won't have to burn power picks to get Phase Shift. Trow Fish is a good ranged attack in the pool as well (and you're going to need at least one if you don't want to be completely helpess against a ranged attacker)
Don't bother with Parry for a PvP build, unless it's just a place to mule a LotG. It provides defense to Melee and Lethal only, and you won't be seeing much of those types in zone PvP. If your build is with the intention of fiteklubbing, it may have more value, but even then it's questionable.
Put damage procs in your attacks. It will boost their damage, and damage procs are unresistable in PvP. I recommend putting them in the quickest animation and recharge powers you have. (a possible use for Parry if you choose to keep it)
Your build, as is, will get eaten alive in zone PvP. It will fare a little better in fite club situations, but not much.
I'm not a PvP expert by any means, but even I know better than to set foot in a zone with a build like that.

Everything he just said is true. I actually have two builds for my BS/Regen. The PVP one has only Hack, Disembowl and Headsplitter from the primary but almost 200% global recharge so those three attacks can be cycled quickly. You can throw out MOG from the build entirely for PVP (and Shadowmeld too since so many regen scrappers PVE side take that also)....your defenses won't stop even the weakest of debuffers and everyone has so much TOHIT going that they will just cut through you even without debuffs. Grab ranged attacks from the Epics and APP's. Team up with a partner in PVP that can buff you and you'll fare better even with BS/Regen. Its just not a good PVP set for the current PVP game.
Seriously, listen to these players, they are trying to help you at least not get owned repeatedly in PVP. That's no fun for anyone.
The only way I would keep Parry at all would be with the following slotting:
Hecatomb: Chance for Negative
Touch of Death: Chance for Negative.
Mako's Bite: Chance for Lethal
LotG +Rech
Hecatomb: Acc/Rech
Accuracy IO
The way I'd use it would be to spam it between big hitters if you catch someone standing still for too long. The damage and defense buffs of the power are irrelevant in this case, you would slot it like that to land as many procs as possible.
With the global recharge you should be packing you should be able to fire off a Parry every couple seconds at the slowest. The above slotting is the only way I'd even consider using Parry in PvP. I'd still keep it, but it would either be with this slotting, or as a LotG +Rech mule and removed from my tray.
As one of only 3 actual attacks in your build? Utterly ridiculous.
