    I hope that you will continue to spearhead this project so that all powers (APPs/Power Pools/Granite Armor/etc) can be customized

    Edit: Oh and on a note, if possible when you're working on Granite Armor customization...can you have it so that if your toon is 4 ft tall, when you activate Granite Armor you stay 4 ft tall but in a mini-Granite armor (maybe have an option if people want to 'grow up' to a 7 ft tall Granite Armor person)? I'd love to have a little mini-granite armor dude/dudette

  5. Well the chat changes seem to be working Color stays on the global channel I tested with and there was no "aljsfidaojif2oHI" issues...

    Juggle emotes seem to work while flying...only tested ';juggle' though.

  8. Hmmm...thank you for the link; however, the channel that I'm having issues with is the one I have joined last and the color doesn't seem to stick on certain characters of mine...others are fine.

    Does joining a chat channel (leaving and then re-joining) need to be done on a per char. basis or does it do it based off of the global account (@Energizing Ion)?

    I'd assume the later but....

    Actually, I suspect it would underperform with MMs; it might need some sort of buff or tweaks to be very playable. A /Kin wouldn't have the tools to keep it's minions alive, and most minions are ranged which also doesn't work well with /Kin.

    Well I kept my ninjas alive with my Ninja/DM MM and that was hard because of the short range of DM's heal as well as I had to keep jumping into the fray and trying to heal the ninjas...with Kin I could just 'sit back' and heal from a far. Sure there are some missions it's not even worth having ninjas (in the 20s/low 30s when you fight Scrapyarders/any mob group that has lots of burn patches/AoE attacks) but I would have loved to have Kinetics as a secondary for my MM when I made him.

    Maybe it's just cause my main is Kin/Rad but I love Kinetics so maybe some bias

    Granted if they did port over Kinetics I wouldn't make another MM. I really like but don't like the MM...everything is too easy solo but...now with the diff. slider in I16 and demon summoning via a customizable whip.....I might make another MM....maybe.... >_>

    Hmmm...I thought it was fixed...I didn't have any issues lately (before the patch).

    However, I noticed tonight after playing a mission that my one orange colored global chat channel stayed orange even after zoning....so...something per character that is not right?

So after today's patch (7/16/09) I was playing with a new char that I made (a PB) and loaded all the custom options I do through the options menu and only one of my global chat channels has a specific color to/for it. I changed it to an orange (orange-ish) color and then was playing and finished the tutorial with the new toon and then noticed the global chat channel was back to the default of blue/teal color.

    I tested on a few other chars and they are all the same with the channel being reset to default after zoning (others confirmed this as well). I /bug'ed it but thought I'd post it here as well.

    Mission: Abandoned_Office_60_Layout_14
    Character: Gloomy Ion (lvl 49 Warshade)

    So tonight I was solo'ing my Warshade and got a mission from Harvey Mayler (sp?). It was a "Defeat Ring Mistress & allies" mission (forgot exact name of it; but pretty generic). I zoned into the map and it was an abandoned office map (as noted above). The first floor was one of the ones with the 3 floors and where you can jump/fly/teleport to the top of it and go through the doors and get to the elevators to the next level. So I click my teleport power (Shadow Step) and moved my mouse cursor vertically north towards the top but I notice that when I get about halfway past the screen the cursor/teleport to icon zooms back to right behind of me where I'm standing (the cursor doesn't but the teleport icon status graphic does). It seem to happen at location: -27.6 0.0 254.1 as well as 28.2 0.0 274.0 (and other places but there are 2 coords there ).

    However, if I keep moving the cursor up the teleport to graphic snaps back to the mouse cursor and again if/when I reached the top or near the top of the ceiling/roof/level the teleport to graphic would snap back to behind me.

    I then went up to the top level/stairs and walked to the hallway before the elevators and then clicked on my teleport button and left the teleport to graphic up and then went back down to where I was having the issues and I didn't have the issue. But then I clicked the teleport power again and tried it and again had the issue.

    I /bug'ed it in the game but ran out of typing room so I put at the end of the /bug report "More on the forums."

    I don't know if it's me or just lag/latency tonight but...*shrugs*

    I also noticed that you can't select/copy and paste text from or to the description dialog bug box

    That was me...but in my defense:
    1) I didn't know that the juggle emotes weren't working with flight at the time (technically, they were working, they were just being immediately interrupted by the flight idle animations)
    2) It took about 10 minutes to copy the giant list of FX GEOs from Propel, and then remove the ones that were way too big
    3) It made me giggle like a schoolgirl for a solid couple of hours.

    My lvl 49 WS has been fun and agree with others here. Human form is definitely do-able. My WS is all human (just recently got the Black Dwarf form at 49 just cause I like the form ) and works just fine. Granted he's a little slow in solo'ing (mainly cause he has quite a few empty enhancement slots...I'm lazy!) but is great on teams.

    I picked up Nebulous Form (I think that's the power's name...the one that gives you phase shift and +jump). I thought I'd like the power because, "hey it's phase so it'd be handy" and I thought the +jump would be considerable to Super Jump or IR....boy was I wrong. The jump is noticeable but it's not a travel power per se....and it takes a good 1-2 seconds to get into the 'phase' portion so...uh...yeah...going to respec out of that and get the Gravitic Emanation power (the cone stun) most likely.

    I have all 3 single target ranged blasts, Gravity Well (the Mad 3 Hold, not stun ) which is just an awesome power, Unchain Essence, Dark Extraction and the self-heal power. As far as secondary goes, I have almost everything (except Nebulous Form when I respec out of it). I don't have Eclipse perma (would be nice) so I do have all the shields still.

    Power pools I have are as follows: Fitness for Stamina of course, Speed for Hasten (no SuperSpeed...I can live with teleport for traveling) and that's it I think.

    Amen...I'd love to have a power that showed me where the glowies/hostages are located. Although I'd like to add, I'd love for it to show where the last mob is at in a "defeat all" mission...trying to find that 1 mob (or that last mob group) is really annoying!

    Electric Armor
    Gravity Control

    Electric Armor is cool, great and fun, no worries from Sappers! However, any mob/mob group that does Smashing and/or Lethal damage...and well...you're going to want Aid Self...from my experience at least (my Elec/Elec Brute is lvl 50). I'm not sure what I'd like to drop from the powerset...maybe Conserve Power (although I have it on my brute just cause)...a heal that's in the set would be nice.

    Gravity Control just because it seems 'meh' to me. I 'love' Propel and the animation for it but...it doesn't seem that great in either controlling or damage from my experience. Granted I haven't touched it in ages and it might be better now with Wormhole is actually used but...*shrugs*

    The other powersets that I say are "underperforming" is pretty much anything that does primarily Smashing/Lethal damage (ie. Dual Blades, Broadsword, Katana, etc...).

    I say that even though I know all sets are good/great in their own ways but I made a Fire/Fire Scrapper and really enjoyed playing him because fire isn't resisted like Lethal dmg is; when I went to play my BS/Shield Scrapper it was painful at times... If there was some way that we could have temp powers or IOs or something that allowed lethal/smashing dmg powersets to do different types of damage (whether in a given amount of time or in only one power/something) than I'd like them more. Others have suggested it before but if there was a temp power that lasted maybe 5 minutes but it allowed all attacks to do a portion/some fire damage...or energy or whatever (could have multiple temp powers, one for each damage type); heck even have one that adds even more lethal or smashing damage... I have a dual blade brute that I didn't care for at all (he's 50 now )...he just seemed to not be doing a lot of damage when on teams and by the time my fury bar got up and I was doing good damage, the mobs were dead. Then again, Longbow is resistant to lethal and with villains usually fighting Longbow...that doesn't help

    Anyways.....

    Edit: Oh and looking at the person who posted above me reminded me of another set I dislike.

    Dark Blast...ugh....pathetic damage and the self-heal isn't worth it (to me at least). Oh and then you have Dark Pit...weak...man I remember taking that power a LONG time ago (when I first started to play the game) and was playing on my Storm/Dark Defender. I got Dark Pit because, "hey it's a targetted AoE disorient!" My friend/teammate and I go to Perez Park (ah those were the days!) and get a few more people to join us and we just start killing mobs and I use Dark Pit and notice...wow...it hit maybe 2 out of the 10 mobs that I threw it at....oh and look the mobs have already 'snapped out of it' before Dark Pit recharged...Granted I didn't have any TOs/DOs in it but I hated that power ever since...it never seemed to get more than 4 mobs and didn't last more than like 5 seconds it seemed.

    I don't have a PB but I do have a WS. I really enjoy playing my WS on a good medium to large team. Get on a team with him with a Kin/* or */Kin and some sort of other buffer (thermal or FF or Sonic) and it's aaaahhh yeahh... I love using my "EBB" power (Explodey Body Boom; ie Unchain Essence) on a huge group of mobs Mmm...a nuke without the end drain on me!

    My 'Shade is lvl 49 atm and recently respec'ed him into Inky Aspect (the PBAoE disorient)...that's very nice especially on teams!

    I'm probably going to make a PB...but we'll see.

  22. I still remember a loooong time ago (3+ years ago?) when my main (EI Kin/Rad Def) did my first Freakshow respec (the one that starts in FF/has freakshow in the reactor) and we had a full team and one of those toons that was in our team was an Earth/FF controller.

    We got to the reactor room and I remember being in other respec TFs and being swarmed by mobs so I was curious how this would go (and how much damage the reactor would take). To my surprise the 'troller had pretty much all the mobs locked down (except for the stragglers that were by the doors/running around) and the reactor barely got touched. This is also the same time/run where I found out you could buff the reactor core (he was bubbling the core heh). I was so surprised at how awesome his toon was at controlling and keeping all of our team safe (and the reactor) with the bubbles....it made me want to make an Earth/FF!

    I have an Earth/Storm that's a lvl 32 on a 2nd account....she's fun too I always liked the combo of Earth/Storm....good stuff!

    It will be interesting to see if the devs ever announce/detail "how fast is too fast" for two reasons.

    1. To see their measurements/metrics for it/what not

    2. See the reactions of people complaining that they are too high

    If the devs ever did come out and detail it, which I doubt they will, I'll take a stab at it and say that it should take a person about 70-100 hours to get from lvl 1 to 50. The fastest I've gotten to lvl 50 was when the VEATs were released and my sgmates and I did a full VEAT team and just ran through normal content and I got him to lvl 50 with around 77/78 hours. But that is with a full team knowing what to do/etc...so some new player not knowing what to do/where to go/where the best xp is/etc would take longer.

    Granted the time for getting to lvl 50 could definitely go by faster because you could do "normal" (non-farmy) missions in the AE and have no travel time needed at all. I would be very surprised if the devs said anything less than 40 hours for getting to lvl 50.

    To me after level 4 (or so) it gets 'boring' until about lvl 22/27/32 (somewhere around there)...I love leveling up after 1 mission (or 1 mission and a mob or two there while running back to the contact), getting new powers and using those new powers.

    Once it takes more than 1-2 missions to level up and get new powers, it's 'boring'/tedious

    Especially before you get Stamina and SOs/IOs at 22 (and 25 for the oro portal).
