I can't rule out one of the cat powers, as Zwill does have a cat in his avatar, but it doesn't seem quite like something that'd be pretty much his favorite. Although, darting and leaping around as a panther is pretty cool.
The Sci-Fi pack would have been my guess (as a favorite of Zwill's), but I really don't expect it to be ready for release yet... Who knows... Oh, right... They do.

Huh, I am truly surprised that this set hasn't been mentioned, as I thought this was likely a fairly commonly repeated choice, but Super Strength is the one set that I seem to keep kicking out character concepts with.
I mean, it is the one set I have 3 separate characters currently using (SD/SS Tank and two Brutes - SS/SR and SS/Inv).
And I have a few more characters that would fit SS.
One other character was going to be SS, but ended up getting MA with the alternate animations (and that worked out much better for the character).
I still have another character that will use MA too...
Still, nothing is more addictive than my E3 Blaster... but I only have one so far.
Three Super Strengths though... so far... -

I had a bearded lady costume as well - Madame Beard.
I received a lot of compliments about it, but I kept telling everyone that I didn't expect to be chosen at all.
When they announced that Bearded-Lady had won, I was really eager to see what costume actually placed with the same, bearded lady, concept that I had. I honestly figured it was done better than mine and was eager to see it!
I was in PD1 and I guess they were in another one.
I'll just say that... I feel better about my costume than this version.
It almost leaves me wondering if there was a name mix-up... hah... but I don't mind, hehe.
There may be other understandable reasons that this costume won over mine and I have no negativity about it... Just a bit of a Huh? reaction though, hehe.
Maybe they didn't let me win because of my annoying posts in this thread!!

Really though, I apologize if it seems like I'm griping or putting anyone down (beyond a friendly costume challenge for fun sort of a way).
I only join in on these contests for the fun, both in making the costumes and in seeing everyone there!

I've not been following this book, but I thought I'd tell you that I enjoyed your post and understand where you're coming from.
I feel for you and the fans with similar tastes.
Also, I find it a real shame if it is true that Wonder Woman hasn't had good fortune with creative teams (and it is not like this is the first time I've heard this, at all).
It seems crazy to me that she wouldn't be a real draw for some of the best writers... do it right and you could really have a winner on your hands. That's how I see it, anyway.
I think there's a wide audience for such a character... done well. Beyond your average comicbook readers. And I don't think going darkity grit grit would be the way to go.
But hey... I've always been one who believes that there is a sure lack of talent out there (hey, amazing talent is a rare commodity - in each field, at least)... and a deluge of mediocrity.
The amazon will persevere. -
Would a half issue possibly show up on Test instead of Beta?
I don't mind either way - half issue or next whole issue - I just can't recall how the past ones have worked, regarding the beta and test servers.
Also... I'll take second week of May and a side order of onion rings, please. -

I may as well post about one of my concepts:
I did have a concept, while testing in beta, of a Sasquatch character being a Beast Master...
I've had some Sasquatch costumes saved for a while and I thought this might finally be what I use one for... But a few things have steered me away form it. One of the things is just not being in love with that concept using lions as pets. I could make sense of it in a number of ways, but it just lost its appeal, while working it out.
That's not to say that I'm against the lions... the pet selection just keeps seeming to stymy the concepts that have come to mind. The wolves and dire wolf really worked for that idea though.
I may still go for a Sasquatch, but I'm not in a rush just yet... -

Is it possible that some community-made modifications might help some French and German speaking players to stick with the game after this?
I know it wouldn't be remotely the same, and wouldn't be as extensively covered within their language... but the idea flitted about in my head and I was curious if there might be anyone already going in that direction.
Or are icons the extent of what the community can realistically manage to modify in such a way?
I'm not calling for anyone to do this... and I'm certainly not qualified... but I do hope that members of the community being affected by this work out ways to make the transition better.
It's time we all speak the same language anyway... Let's choose one... How about pig latin? -

Of course this is not an April Fools thing, come on, people.
While I feel for the people who will not enjoy this, and it is a bit sad, I can completely understand this move.
You can see how much of an issue maintaining and continuing to produce the product in different languages can be.
In the end, they really need to look at what worth those efforts produce.
Take issue with the overall lack of globalization, perhaps, but this is just one english-speaking company, within the states, making this call based on their own situation and bottom line.
And it makes sense.
It is indeed sad for any and all German and French speaking players that we have.
I was worried the "cloud" part of the news was going to be far worse, though, based on how long the "sliver lining" intro was... Hehe.
The good news?
The percentage of English speaking people within Germany and France are a lot greater than the German/French-Speaking Americans... So, there's hope that many of these European players will remain.
However, I do understand that not all of them will.
