In the [just recently] updated WST list, there is a funny bit of information in the final week of the month.
Quote:Reading too much into it or . . . .?May 29th to June 4th - The Ms. Liberty Task Force (from Ms. Liberty in Independence Port)/ The Lord Recluse Strike Force (from Lord Recluse in Grandville) -

Quote:in the last 2 weeks I have started 21 threads on all boards, that is 1.5 a day
13 on this board, less than 1 a day
I suppose one could consider 1 thread a day to be a lot of threads.
I suspect however, that my threads are noticeable and interesting. They get a lot of responses and stay visible due to that.
Or what -
TFs that should get more WST time.
- Positron 1 + 2
- Synapse
- Hollows Trial
- Old Sewer Trial in steel
- Katie H
- Statesman
- Recluse
- Binder Of Beasts
- An ouroboros TF once in a while. Quick yes but come on, give them some incentive!

Quote:Wait, running a level 35-50 TF and not being on a level 50 character means I'm powerlevelling? Isn't the point of having a wide level range to allow people OTHER than 50s to do it so it has broader appeal?
Of course but a lot of people do see it as the TF to get their 35s up a few levels quickly is all i meant. -
Quote:In all seriousness i do think they gave us too many of those for free on every alt. I can see it being handy if you have just the one character from 1 > 50, but if you have any sort of altitis you will quickly gather patrol xp the traditional way too.
Plus, I get four stacks of 5 traditiona XP boosters for free on every character. -
Of course it is, cant remember the last ITF i was on that didnt have at least 2/3 lower than 50. Just saying that the ITF is the only TF/part of the game which i would see myself using it on.
Same goes with the windfalls, i've got a stack of them and only use them on ITFs because solo [or other teamed activities] i find myself not using the power to its maximum value. -

Quote:This is also another reason why i dont like it. The only time i find it'ld be good is on a TF like an ITF where you are constantly fighting for the hour, otherwise it does just scream of a farming/PL tool.Yes, I bought a 1 hour to test it in AE and with Patrol XP, then bought 2 4 hours. They are expensive, but for me the ability to speed through the 40-50 hump on my latest alt was completely worth it. That said, one thing I don't like about them is that a lot of the benefit is lost if you aren't constantly chewing through content, which makes them far more appealing for AE farming or soloing than team content unless you have a fantastic group. When I burned my 4 hour, I almost never stopped, only training 2 times in 11 levels. However I managed to burn through from 39 - 50 with 30-45 min left to spare (on a single 4 hour, I've got the 2nd banked for another alt).

Also on my dark/cold controller i found putting the tohit debuff set + procs in there made it a beast.
-
Not a single one either and dont plan on it ever. I have 50+ experienced temp powers still in my email to claim, that plus 20 per alt means that i am almost ALWAYS at patrol xp values.
-
Finished and nice little survey it was, hard to put them all in a list of importance to me though
Well apart from the bottom 3 *shrug*
My new item for the paragon market? A new zone TP power which summons a portal for you/team to click on and tp to any zone ingame, a nice little feature i thought wouldnt take too much time to make.
Of course suggesting new items might have been wide of the mark there -
Quote:I on the other hand feel that when a defender is on the team, that there is a HUGE increase in performance on the whole
I know in my heart that a defender's shield is saving the team, or speed boost is making them do more damage, but it lacks the feel of being effective.
The reason i dont play defenders however is that i like to solo too, so the higher damage values of a corruptor suit my playstyle better. If anything, i think defenders need a slight buff to make the AT more popular as a solo AT alternative too, however i also fear that it would then make it OP'd. -
In one of Maxs missions you come across Requim who has now become incarnated himself.
He says that he was able to get this new power [and thus be stronger than the now weakened Reichsman] back in the time of Cimerora which would explain just exactly why he went back there. What is not explained however is just how he was able to become incarnated in the first place.
According to the timeline it would have been after the ITF but before we go back to free Cimerora of the Talons as the 5th have all gone now. Am i missing some content lore as i have looked all over and found nothing in relation to this.
Also could this be the start of Requim himself playing a big role in the incarnate picture? -
For years i didnt know you could colour chat channels different to each other.
With the amount of channels i usually have up, it makes life a LOT easier when you simply look out for a specific colour -

*Squeeeeee!*
Edit: April 28th? Is that the date it starts or is Nemesis reporting a day ahead of us? -

I would love to actually play one, i've tried multiple times however i find the low levels to be so boring playing as one.
Yes i could just skip up to the 20s to really start off but im one of those players who love the low level game and if i cant get a sense of enjoyment out of it that early, then i aint going to wait until the mids for it. -
Quote:Actually, I think it's had a huge effect on them - they talk about how they used to travel thoguh spce with their "mother", listening to her "song" - which implies that Shiva was their Well - but once the "Dark Father" forced her to become his "bride", they could no longer hear her "song" - and as Wells are like the "soul" or life force of a species, that means that once Battalion consumed Shiva, the Shivans became a species without a soul or life force.
And that explains why they're so static - they can communicate with humans, but they've shown no interest in trying to form any kind of connection with the various groups in Bloody bay, or to try leaving the place - they just wander around, and attack anything that comes close to the meteor fragments, which are the only memory that have of their lost "Mother" and "soul" - they're a race with no drive or ambition, and they're also aware of it, but they can't seem to do anything about it - like all they have left is an endless sadness that they've lost their life force, which makes them one fo the msot tragic groups in the game.
Well thats put a downer on my day!
