Dissapointed with Redside WST selection

You know, I get that there are fewer SF's on redside to select for the WST, so I expect a little repitition - but last month Ice Mistral was the WST every other week and its the same way this month. Even in the off weeks its not like they pick another intersting SF - its almost always a respec trial or one of the coop ones.

Its getting a little tiring - I like Ice Mistral well enough but a little variety would be really nice.

Actually it isn't just the redside WST's - look at the blueside ones too. They're all pretty much a copy of what they were in April...

I think it's more indicative that there's just a problem with whoever is choosing the targets. Redside may be sick of Mistral, but blueside is getting pretty tired of alternating Numina/Eden all the time too.

There are tons of different task forces and strikes forces to use. Why we keep getting the same 35-40 batch again and again and again is absolutely mind boggling.

Where's the ITF? Where's Lady Grey? Heck, Dr. Kahn/Barracuda and Statesman/Recluse! Why not Sister Psyche and Silver Mantis?

Even if we don't have a 30-35 Strike force, we've got -tons of other pairings they could use-. They don't have to keep repeating the eden/Mistral Numina/Mistral pairing.

So yeah, Ice Mistral has been run 11 times in the past year. Renault has been 8. Lady grey hasn't been run since August, along with Positron/Tarikoss and Psyche/Mantis.

Pscyhe, at least, -right now-, I can understand. Her TF is an awful slog. But once it switches over to Penny Yin it ought to return to the rotation regularly.

Anyway, just some food for thought.

Don't get me started on the frequency of the Respec TFs as WSTs...

I guess there must be some reason why they only select from the same handfull of TFs (although I can't imagine what that is). Perhaps it's a perception thing as well, although May's running order is almost identical to April's.

Although in a more paranoid moment, I note that there's no official discussion thread for the WST thread. Perhaps they know that we'd be on there whining about the repetition

Actually, lately I've been getting the distinct impression that they've more or less forgotten the WST even exists...

I can almost see them coming into work this morning, going...

"Oh crap! We totally forgot we needed to pick some WST's for May!"

"Quick! Copy-paste April's into the queue!"

"But won't they notice May's are the same as April's?"

"Quick! Change which respec trial it is! That'll make it seem different!"

• Hollows Trial
• Old Sewer Trial in steel
• Katie H
• Statesman
• Recluse
• Binder Of Beasts
• An ouroboros TF once in a while. Quick yes but come on, give them some incentive!

Sadly, you'll never see Hesh, Katie, or Cavern of Transcendance as Weekly Task Forces because they're all locked behind arcs.

Also, they've done Positron before, if you'll just glance up my list, and he was paired with Tarikoss. Understandably, they're hesitant to make Synapse the WST because it's such an awful pain.

It's just getting silly. My guess is people complained when it was itf every 3rd week and they overcorrected?
i just wish they could make it the first tf the toon runs for the week gets the bonus. sure it'd be abused by people only running short ones but they already use the trees and eden all the time and nothing's really shorter than that.
At least it'd give some extra incentive for running tfs in general, and hopefully a variety which isn't an artificial 'let's force people to run stuff they never run' (most aren't run for good reason, i'm looking at you eden, tv trials and revamped longer renault for same merits).
