Quote:Because an aesthetic bug is not a game breaking bug, and there are often bigger issues afoot for them to push a patch live.So why do costume packs get pushed live without fixes? Both to requested things such as 'please stop pretinting' or to bugs 'hey the collar clips through the models head'?
Why do major bugs make it live when they are reported time and time again in beta?
Trust me, people think that I hate everything because of how critical I am of things--but we need to put criticism to a useful purpose. And griping that a Female-only costume set is being released without male bits is just wasting time.
The time to gripe, and when I did so, was when they first pitched it and I said, "Don't make Female-only costume sets." At this point, the best thing to do is not buy it. -
Am I only the only person who ever bought trading cards?
This "gambling" argument is just sad. -

Quote:That's not true. And I say that as someone who is largely done with beta testing considering how certain things have gone down in the past. Its pretty much par for course.
All the devs want from the feedback threads is a pat on the back.
Hell thats all they want in the bug report threads too.
We owe an awful lot of innovations and tweaks to this game to the playerbase. While railing against a bad choice that the devs have made may feel good, there isn't much point in throwing hyperbole around when they've already stated their decision. And I say that as someone who has been complaining about costumes for a while, too. -
Wow. Tex with the quick-draw.

"Thx Chad. and crap lol." is actually the name of my Console Electronica Power Metal band's last non-hit.
CGM's spreadsheet is the spread****. I prefer to use it, instead of the market itself. If I could buy things through Chad, instead of the game, I would. It is always up to date, in sensible order, written in a language that makes sense, and it has all the real numbers right there. And the stuff in it is cross-referenced, with point breakdowns to boot.
It is the secret guide to the Paragon Market, and you can't go wrong with it. -

Jesus Christ, would it kill you guys to add some comic book super hero costume pieces sometime? Wow.

Holy crap, I don't think I've ever seen Creed on the main boards before. *harasses him about that other game*

Positron, in the in-game lore, has traditionally been the keeping of Hephaestus' forge and is the incarnation of invention. So I don't have a problem with him being the keeping of Prometheus' flame--which is effectively technology.
But I have to agree with most of what Xan is saying. Killing Statesman off is a great way to elevate the player character to center stage. But instead, the Lead Designer of the game is putting what is rapidly becoming his Mary Sue into that spot.
I like Matt a lot. He's a nice guy. This is a really stupid move, and it feels like it goes against every single thing the endgame is saying. We're back to Jack's City of Sidekicks again. -
It's a nice gesture, all the people rushing to answer my original question...but they're not reading the thread at all. Snow answered my question. Other people had similar questions which were appropriately added, but now people are just saying TL;DR to the whole thing and re-answering my original post.
I especially enjoy the people who, immediately after I said "Thanks, but I'm good," read the OP, skipped the rest of the thread, and then posted again. -
Hey, get off my computer, I need to get Marshmallow Manwich to level two!

I appreciate all the new posts in this thread, buy my original question was answered by Snow back in September.

Luckily, I can still play this game at -1 difficulty.
