Quote:'Any and all" not just from the primary pool; so, if I had Air Superiority, the damage buff would apply to that power as well? And what that link to Paragon Wiki is NOT telling me (at a glance anyway) and to put it in perspective as to why it's a must have asap type power, is that bonus is 31.25%. Stacked 5 times that's a +156% bonus to the damage of any and all attacks you make during the buff duration as Gaidin has pointed out.

I don't know about all y'all, but I'm really excited for I19 to hit the live servers. My lowbie characters, from tankers to my first-ever Kheld, are practically salivating at the thought of inherent fitness.
My higher-level characters can't wait for the extra challenges and rewards from Alpha Slot/incarnate stuff.
And a shameless plug for GR: probably the best money I've yet spent on CoH/V - and I've been playing since 2007! Loving every feature so far, and i19 seems to add so many more Q0L (merged monorails/ferries stands at the top) features... yay!
Finishing with a question (which I hope I can ask): so when is it coming? Halloween? US Election Day? Day between? Or... Soon™? -
The Vampires especially are kicking my but on a low-level tanker. For everything, I pray that my Sands of Mu won't miss. Can't wait to see how a high-level character (prolly a scrapper) might perform.

Most excellent; thank you for breakdown.

OP, totally in agreement with you.
Found the MFing Warshade guide yesterday. Having never played a Kheldian, it was as good a reason as any to try one - and IT'S MFing AWESOME!
Love this so far. Thanks Dechs, for the excellent jumpstart to a Warsahde. Does this philosophy really not work with Peacebringers? -
Hi, all.
I'm taking advantage of the lowered VEAT requirements, but I haven't played enough villainside to really know what's appropriate for names with SoA. I'm really into backstory, and titles that sound neat or imposing.
So what names are used for your Banes? Crabs? Widows, fortunatas, huntsmen, whatever? Are there any fast and loose naming conventions applied to PvE mobs?
Thanks! -

Blight (140423). The best arc in the entire MA system right now. It's pretty much a crime that it only has 68 votes as of this writing.
[/ QUOTE ]
I actually agree with this. I think Blight has left the most lasting impression of any arc I've played thus far.

As of this time-stamp, I can't find this mission on AE. Has it been taken down? That's fast turnaround, if it's been removed.
Edit: Ha, silly MA newb here. Had restrictive search terms on it. Whoops. -

Posted these in another thread.
What Now, Emmert?

I got a very good laugh from this one. -
Your scrapper, as-is, will really have a hard time continuously going. Despite QR+Stamina, that combination will really be puffing around. Sparing the slots to put one End Redux enhancement in each attack and toggle will help, or you could pick Conserve Power from the body mastery pool. Martial Arts, coupled with the WP toggles and what else you propose, will burn through endurance like nobody's business.
Recommend Conserve Power ove FA because you have a lot of accuracy in each attack; one accuracy, three damage, one end-redux and maybe one recharge redux is pretty effective against darn near most of the game.
Cut the slots of Indomitable Will to two, and just place end-reduction enhancements in those two slots. Defense against psionics isn't worth what you have slotted, since you'll have a really hefty resistance value against psionic from Body over Mind and HPT.
Aside from lack of end-redux, your slots seem pretty safe. Your power selection is excellent, aside from the personal quibble about Conserve Power over Focused Accuracy.
Have fun with IOs, once you start looking to put them in. -
I'm really nostalgic for Martial Arts/WP.
Flashy attacks as the average of scrappers, coupled with no-thought-required secondary. I get to constantly think about how to take enemies down, rather than worry about my own survival.
This combination really clicks in my head for what a scrapper should be, whether secreat agent, ninja, or REALLY IRATE videogame crossover due to the overflowing Matrix. Or the badassery that is Watchmen. -
MA/Willpower will not be your most powerful character; but in my opinion, it's the most fun. I really like the flashy, visceral animations of taking down enemies, and willpower lets you wade into combat a bit more easily than /regen might.
With resists and defense, my six MA/WP scrappers can only get taken down by a really hard-hitting EB or AV. Single target fights are NOT what MA/WP does.
The +end of QR is superior to Stamina; I found I had little endurance problems with 1 EndRed IO in each attack (the level 20 common is 25% reduction). When you get into the 30s of your character, there's little reason to avoid Stamina; I usually pick it up at 35 or 38.
What /willpower will allow you to do is: survive onslaughts of eneimes. Think of that Matrix fight where Neo fights clones of Smith, or Leonidas in 300 taking down 50 guys by himself. Or any scene from Watchmen.
MA/Willpower will let you survive just about everything in the game; figuring out how to survive that last 1% is quite fun. -

Its repeated threads like this that make me hope for the next powerset to be added by the devs to be some kind of nerf dart gun blaster set, so we can go around nerfing anything we want to.
[/ QUOTE ]
God I hope NERF GUN is a weapon option for pistols...
And thread? Nope, no nerfs worth talking about in my experience. -
CoR? Way to coin a new phrase!
Secondaires with this? Strikes me these are two powersets for adding to things. Demons is a mastermind set, with probable low-level fire blast attacks mixed in. I hope we get to summon demons that are new models from the CoT demons and fire/ control imps. Maybe an imp from DOOM?
Pistols looks like a mastermind set expanded to fill a 9-power set; Malta gunslingers will be involved in this. So, maybe lots of tools, with laser pointers, silencers, stun grenades? "Full-auto" nuke should be a PBAoE, with extreme range: 95' feet, 45 second timer.
I don't see gun-fu being especially synergistic with some of the melee sets; my bet is on pistols being a blast set for blasters, corruptors, and defenders. Of course, a pistols assault set for dominators would really want me to play that archetype... -
Fascinating and informative.
Thank goodness for no perma-death or holo-grinding!
