  1. On mine I took Speed / Leaping / Fighting / Concealment I got my + Perc from Weapons which also gave me web nade.

  3. I have a very effective Bots/traps for pvp... Nade and tp does wonders
  4. Wish they would allow AE content to get Dxp, so people level faster than usual, big whoop.
  5. Rad/Dark Corr + Def mentioned in this thread, are you meaning Rad blast Dark Miasma or Rad emmissions / Dark blast ?

    Em.. a few things.

    1) I'll bet you haven't looked into the cost of PvP IO's yet, that build will set you back at an estimate from 12 - 15 Billion inf

    2) PvP powers are adjusted damage wise from PvE, Blaze took a massive nerf a while back and you will now be better proccing out flares than using blaze.

    3) You lack movement, PvP is alot about manuverability, you haven't capped run or jump, so you will not catch anyone, or be able to outrun attackers.

    4) Blasters benefit alot more from +HP than +rech

    5) No point in slotted manuv + stealth for def, it will make little or no diff at all after DR.

    So i think for less than half the cost of that build i could pur together a stronger one, i'll do that soon... at work atm.
  10. So i've rolled a /Fire scrapper, I had one before that I deleted from feeling super squishy but the burst damage is just too tempting, so....

    When building a /Fire scrapper for Zonal, what should I go for primarily.. is +rech more important that +hp? I have also considered Kb prot.

    What should I be aiming for ?

    50% Ranged def in zone, still to pick up the glad arm proc... Other attacks are all purple and pvp dmg proc'd.

    Mace for Shatter Armour and Nade for planting and escaping with aid self has been very effective as of late. However I'm not underestimating freedom blasters, I can imagine a very different experience if I was stateside.

    I struggle with psi blasters due to the inherent Accuarcy but it's by far my most effective zonal pvp toon.

    And most importantly, it's loadsa fun !

    Stalkers really need hiber at times, travel suppression means that you will find escaping with more than one blaster on you will be very difficult, if you are going for Nin, then io slot for ranged def, Red fortunes and Mako's Bite IO's are your friends along with Steadfast res/def io. 5 Red + 3 Mako + stead fast will have youan extra 26% ranged def which you need after Diminishing returns to be dodgy in zonal. My widow has 91% ranged defense to hit the soft cap in RV of 45%

    Oh btw, the patron for hiber is Mako, not Ghost Widow, so make sure you do the right one unless you wanna respec.

    Had a though, heal power bonus comes from sets that can take heal... would it be wise to take Aid self on a regen as an extra? 5 sets of Doc wounds in heal powers would give aid a 20% boost, so probably heal you for around 580 - 600 hp every 8secs, and keep recon as a panic heal.

    Any thoughts??
  18. I have a very effective Fort that I like to play in RV, I have rare def boost Alpha, and running about 91% Ranged def, so in Zone I get from 45 - 48 % depending on bonus from hide.

    With Aidself and nade it's good fun, but buildup+aim hurts so you have to learn to nade blasters to the floor and allow +tohitt buffs to run out before re-engaging.

    Looks like on mids shocking bolt accepts Ranged IO's and PbAoe ones... can I assume this is a mistake and it's not the same in game.. ?

  21. If you are going to go for a petless mm then go for a set not otherwise accessable, like poison... If you want no pets and /traps make a defender or a corruptor.
  22. A blapper is a cross from a Scrapper and Blaster, hence "Blapper"... Means melee blaster, btw.

    Why Force Epic Psyrene? Just curious as to choice. Is it to do with phase effecting Hiber?
  23. When slotting for a Scrapper /Electric Armour for Zonal and duels... what set bonuses are you looking for to make the most of the set???

    At the moment I have gone for Global Recharge and Knockback prot.. am I right to go this route, or am I overlooking something else?

    Yea that's right, I am only 3-5 seconds off permadom without hasten, so I am well over permadom with it.

    the 173% is including hasten but if I forget to click it mid battle it can drop, or if I go afk inbetween missions it will also drop, would be nice to have Hasten as an extra and auto que Domination and forget about it.
