Hello, I was wondering what if any would be a good MM PvP build for zones. I currently have a Ninja/Dark that i was alot of fun PvPing with but I'm unsure how to correctly Slot him. thanks!

I like this build alot the only thing i added was Some IO procs to Call jounin and i think thats it

Well it sort of depends.

Mm's will be able to beat most melee toons. Ranged toons are a little more tricky because they can jump around and your pets can't hit them as well. Also if you arent doing fight club, you can get attacked by multiple people and your pets can get spread.

Overall I'd say mms are pretty beast. My mm only has about 10 mill put into him and yesterday when i was attacked by a widow and a fire/nag blaster, I beat the widow and the blaster ran at very low health.

You can't really put ranks on ATs in pvp though. Just like in pve each AT brings something new to the table and even if a scrap can beat a tank, a defender might beat the scrap and the tank might beat the fender. IMO it's more about the time and money you put into a character than the AT ( as long as they have decent pvp powers).

So just stay in defensive and kick butt

I have a very effective Bots/traps for pvp... Nade and tp does wonders

Objectively, MMs are not near the top at all, w/e their powersets might be, in duels. The biggest reason is they can not force the issue at all. I have fought many MMs, poison and others. None of them can force the issue. The only melees that lose to MMs are melees who don't think very well in the fight. They almost try to approach an MM like they would another melee toon, and that's just suicide.

Frankly, a draw is the most likely outcome of a fight between a melee and an MM. Some melee's might be able to just Shield bash then Lightning rod and other things, some others cant do similar things.

If a melee loses to an MM, it's because he wants to, but from my experience, MM's can not force the isse in duel fights. They might be able to TP you in arena (if they took TP) but you can run right back out or TP yourself right back out. They sell TP powers in arena and I always pack it when facing MMs. LOL at people who want to duel MMs in a cage.

Some squishies might be able to force the issues with MMs. A grav/FF troller will very likely pwn all MMs in duels since they can easily take out of bodyguard mode, and I have also seen, fire/elec Doms beat MMs pretty hard since bonfire and thunderstrike are kind of a pain for MMs.

But MMs just basically set up and wait for most unwise people to come in and take on them and their army, for the most part.

Make all IO's available in Paragon Market! NCSoft, the chinese are making BIG money selling influence and other stuff in the game. Best way to stop them = make the paragon market a place to buy all IO's and perhaps other things as well.

in a 10 min duel MMs usually can't get a kill on a competent player loaded out with the right inspirations. Also For MMs to get a kill, the PvP Map needs to be tightly closed; as in anything larger than cargo map becomes increasingly hard to kill a good player. I estimate that if played patiently you can force a kill with a well built poison MM after 20 min (15 with heal decay on) or during sudden death if the squishy is not hibernated during the entire sudden death. On top of all that, if the other player has a fast recharging AoE, like fire ball, you will most likely die, but builds that can kill MMs usually loose to mirror power sets built for general 1v1. With tanks having bruise and MMs having slightly better dps (when pets actually attack), Tanks and MMs come out pretty equally when you factor in Taunt and MM debuffs. So if I had to rank them they would be in the middle of the pact still ahead of scrappers, brutes, epic ATs, and even (IMHO) slightly above doms.
