This is what I have done with my lvl50. It's been two years since I hit 50 and still play it.

After doing some checking I found that the most memory your netbook can take is 1.5gb (512m onboard, and a 512m stick are what are in it now.) You would have to remove the 512m stick and replace it with a 1gb, however it's not an easy thing to do. You have to take the entire netbook apart to do it. As for the graphics card, well, you are kind of screwed there. It's not upgradeable on this netbook.

My opinion of the term 'healer' has come from very hard learned lessons. I have yet to join a team that asked for a healer that didn't expect me to just stand there and spam the green numbers over their heads. I've been kicked from teams because I would "waste time" by using my attacks. The worst was the guy that told me to learn my role because I was using my debuffs (and because I only had one rez.) After the 5th or 6th time of getting yelled at, I stopped debuffing. I told the team leader to learn what a defender can do before yelling at one and quit the team after the 4th team wipe from one boss.

You could order a copy from someplace like Frys.com, but then you would be paying for shipping. Unless you really need the disk, it's cheaper (because of the shipping) to buy it from the NCSoft store.

I play a defender. It was my first AT and is still the one I go to first. When someone sends me a tall asking to join them because they need a healer, I tell them "Sorry, I play a defender. I don't know what this Healer AT everyone keeps asking for is." Yes, I have been sworn at.

As for people saying an AV is too hard if a defender can't solo it.... I solo AVs all the time with my defender. If they can't, well then they need to learn how to get the most out of their toon. They also need to learn that some powersets don't work well for soloing.

Right now you can't rename a SG unless the name is a copyrighted name. A lot of people have asked for this, but so far there has been no word on if it will ever be done.

It sounds like it's not working right for you. I just got it on one of my toons, so I don't think it's bugged for everyone.

PvP would be a bad idea. So few use it now. PvP would only make it worse seeings as so few bother with PvP now. A co-op zone with red and blue story arcs would be a much better idea. Making it easier to find would also help. Maybe move it to the spot of the old RWZ portal.

With that said... I would almost hate for more people to go to the Shard. It's where I go for ToTing. I never have to worry about some idiot leaving his spawn behind as he runs to the next door

It's such a minor thing that I really don't see the Devs taking the time to code in a button to turn it off. Even then it would only show up in the newest box version. Seeing as they just put out Architect Edition, it would be some time before the next box will come out. I hate to say it, but you may as well just get used to turning off your speakers when it's loading.

With the new base building rules they put in place, the old raiding system just would not work anymore. It would be possible to hide the IoP behind a wall. Base raiding will require a total overhaul. The only other option would be for them to have two different types of bases. One under the new way and one that can be raided. With how few people PvP, I wouldn't see very many people building the raid type.

When has that ever stopped activists? They sue knowing that they will lose. They want the press to see that they are taking on the big bad company to protect children. Their goal is to cost a company so much money in legal fees (as well as public image) that it's just cheaper to start enforcing the rule.

It's nice that he got disbarred, but he hasn't stopped. He's just not the one standing in front of the judge anymore. There are other lawyers out there that are more than happy to sue for something like this.

All it takes is for someone like Jack Thompson it find out that they are not enforcing the rule. Next thing you know, NCSoft is getting sued to 'protect the children'. People like him don't care that you think it's okay for your child to play. They have the attitude that if you let an under-age child play a teen rated game, then you are not doing your job a parent. They will step in and force the company to do the job for you.

Well it is up to the parent to decide, that is the reason for the rating system. The only thing I really see that could warrant this as 'teen' is the online experience with other players. The gameplay is certainly E10+.

Go look at the back of the Architect Edition box. It says it right there in a red box. I have it in my hand right now. And yes, that is something new that I haven't seen on any other version before.

Intel graphics cards are not so good for this game. They can work, but you wont get much out of them. You may want to look into getting something better for your system

It says right on the box "Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to play" Guess what, that's not a parents choice. NCSoft will enforce it because the last thing they need is for some parents group to come after them saying that they are exposing children to inappropriate things. In our sue-happy world, companies are forced to take the choice away from parents because a few can't be bothered to read the back of a box and then will freak out when they see what they gave their child.

As for me, when I stop to help someone I am very careful not to steal any XP from the person I'm helping. If I'm on my defender, I will heal the other person, slow the mobs and debuff the highest mob there. If I'm on my scrapper, I have ways I can pull the aggro without doing any damage as well as giving them any inspirations they need to finish off the mobs. I wont just jump in and help someone that looks like they have everyone under control. I will watch and see if they have too little life/end to defeat the mobs around them. If someone says they don't want any help, I will tell them sorry and wish them the best of luck.

This is weird, now I'm not getting the glowie sounds. It was working yesterday. I'll do a little testing to see if I can get it back.

If it's a true 'glowie' it will make sound. I've found that some 'destroy objects' do glow, but don't make sound. That bug could be part of why people think that they all should glow.

Are you doing a lower than your level arc by any chance? Obo will auto exemplar you down to the mission level.
