Last I checked, Burst was still bugged to crit 100% from hide. But it's been a few patches since I played my Stalker.

Life's not fair but games are supposed to be. That's why they have rules. Chess wouldn't be as fun if one player got twice as many pieces for inheriting a larger estate.

I still disagree with the idea that a sideways conversion costs significantly more than the breakdown worth of the item. It feels like a serious disconnect in determining the worth of any component. Besides which, breakdown amounts seem completely random. I'm not sure who came up with the numbers, but they don't follow any pattern.

The best healer autopower is the one not on my team.

Quote:People who deal S/L do literally zero damage to Marauder. Whether he's regular, or whether people lay -50,000% RES on him. For the role of killing Marauder, they can't help at all, outside of tossing on some negative damage procs or Reactive. My widow had those though, along with her toxic DoT, and it wasn't worth the effort -- I was assigned to adds.Ok, considering this information I'm inclined to agree with the OP.
I still think S/L ATs can contribute to a Master run but obviously they will have to do something other than beating on Marauder.
And apparently so willl everyone else who isn't dealing Psi.
While true they can still be useful by killing adds, so can everyone else. We tried MoLambda three times, and just kept underestimating how much -RES you need. We started off with around 4 debuffers, and we didn't even come close. Tried with more, still failed. Our successful run had 11 -RES debuffers and 2 kins. I would say at bare minimum it takes at least half the league being debuffers to actually kill Marauder. So when you go to fill up those last spots, it's in your best interests to just add even more -RES to make totally sure. As such, there's not a lot of room for Scrappers and the like.
When it comes down to filling the spots, you could either take a Scrapper who can only deal with adds, or you could take someone who can do both. Rather than taking S/L only people it would be a better idea to just fill the league with -RES people and ask a few of them to fight off adds when possible, but try to keep their -RES on Marauder.
100% RES is an okay gimmick for some AV fights, but having 100% RES the entire time is exclusionary and not a good idea. That and the obscene amount of debuffing and/or psi damage required to actually kill Marauder means people have to be more picky about their league builds. It's not the sort of encounter you just throw 16 random people at and assume it'll work. The majority of your league has to have certain powers in order to have a slim chance of succeeding.
S/L damage dealers are going to have a hard time finding spots, because as-designed, there's no need for them to be there. They'd only be going as a pity-spot or as a friend.
And now that the badges changed, you have to do it three times. -
Reactive DoT doesn't work with any pets on live right now. Other procs do.
-
It wasn't working at all before. Which was still an issue for MMs and other pet-centric characters (Elec Melee and Illusion Control for instance). But in its current implementation, it allows max stacking for long periods of time, inflicting the max possible damage in a large area for a long duration.

Quote:It doesn't really matter if it "can't stack higher if more people are attacking" because the enemies are already dead. A single cast of my Dom's Rain of Fire kills all minions and lieutenants by itself. That's at rare; at Very Rare that would be an extra -10% RES on all enemies. If this was in Freezing Rain that would be -30% RES to go with it. It would probably kill bosses too. With one cast of one power.I'm not really sure this is broken, though I understand your point. All the Interface effects are per attack, and rain and patch powers and the like perform a large number of attacks. The interface powers also have a stacking limit. What rain power are going to do is stack to the DoT limit (which I have read is six copies). Even if someone else dropped a rain on the same foes, they would max out at six of the DoTs and four of the -DRs.
It also manages to more than triple the damage of damage toggles and turn things like Caltrops into nukes. It really should have the same 10 second rule that regular procs have. -
OP updated with Lore pet information, new information on merits and the Mortimer Kal SF, and I also fixed some Destiny numbers.

Quote:People who don't use inspirations should be shot (and then not given an awaken (they don't have room for it anyway)).Glad to see you've figured out what they are for.
I can't even tell you how many times I've tried to pass a Wakie to a dead teammate only to get the message "Cannot give to X, not enough room in inventory."
I just want to tell them that if they had actually USED some of those inspirations sitting in their tray, they might not be dead. -
This is a great mix of changes for all content of various types. There are a ton of much-needed bugfixes here. And a lot of great QoL stuff that we asked for a long time ago. Overall this cheers up my bad mood over the trial reward system. I'd like to see this go live quickly.

I did Barrier and Rebirth. Rebirth benefits me more solo, and in small teams or easier tasks where we don't really need anything. I treat it as a self, full HP heal. But I find that Barrier is more useful to a team and for more difficult tasks. This is also on a widow who has no use for Clarion, though.

I'll get to it, I just need to figure out a good way to format it in the OP. It takes up a lot of room otherwise.

Well me and my friends just completed a 4-man ITF with our incarnate stuff. We played on x8, and finished in just over an hour. We had 2 deaths total, only from doing stupid things.
During the run I soloed Romulus (the first one). And during the Rommy fight we killed one of his Nictus. Considering the time and ease, I think we could do a 4-man MoITF next time. -
Astrals: Break them down into threads.
Empyrians: Save them up until you have 8 or 30 to get rares or very rares (depending on your level of need). -
As I posted, it was changed in i18 and affects all the proc120s.

Quote:And I have the leaping +Stealth in Sprint, and it turns off when I turn it off. The change was made in i18 I believe; the stealth powers in toggles should turn off when you turn off the toggle now. They still do. I have the Unbounded Leap +Stealth in Superjump, and it persists after I turn it off.
It's even on the wiki:
Quote:Proc120 Special IOs: Previously, when the 'Proc120' Special IOs were slotted into toggles, they would continue to 'work' for 120 seconds after the toggle was turned off. Now, they shut off immediately when the toggle is turned off. This is considered a fix to the way they were intended to work. They still work for 120 seconds in a click power and they still remain always on in a working passive power. The Proc120 IOs are the Stealth IOs, Kismet's +6% ToHit, and the three Healing Set +Recovery and +Regeneration IOs. -
Common components. You need tons of them; the rest of the stuff will most likely drop from the trials for you.

Lusca is proving to be an obstacle. The thing is, the head attacks whichever tentacle I go for. And it's phased so I can't smoke grenade or taunt it. And naturally, it will start attacking my pets. So I'm currently considering different strategies and ideas on how to tackle it.
I did get a tentacle down to 20% before it killed the pets. So it's not like it's not possible. -
We're starting to get a pretty good idea though. People with less AoEs get lower scores. People who attack or use less powers get lower scores. It may be more complex than this, but it seems to be based on "how many targets you affected during the trial."
-
No, it would take two hours. I can only kill GMs when my Lore pets are up. If it doesn't happen in 5 minutes it won't happen at all. And they have to recharge which takes 15 minutes. In order to take down all 8 tentacles, it would take 2 hours.

As long as you guys are aware of the concerns and going to work on stuff I think (most) people will remain (mostly) civil. I'm okay waiting. For now, I don't plan on running any MMs in trials.

Killed Jack, but I cheated and used a Shivan (and the crappy Radio pet) this time. I wanted the badge so I wanted to make sure. I'll try to do Echoai without temps later.
