Reactive DoT on pets: not working or display bug?

I've got reactive 75% dot slotted on my crab and I can see the DoT numbers and fire effects on enemies when I attack. When my pets attack I don't see any of this.

Is it not working properly or is this just some sort of display error?

Thanks.

I know you cannot stack more than 4x of the Resistance debuff but what about the Fire DoT? Can you stack more than one?

What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

Fire DoT I believe follows the same stacking rules of Interface. I've seen multiple dots fire off from my own attacks.

But can only stack up to 4x Fire DoT on the same target?

The way the interface procs seem to work is by granting a power to the target, rather than applying an effect to the target. That's probably how they manage the stacking limit, which is 4 per target from any source - to the code, the "caster" of the proc is always the target itself. So then it probably has a limit of "stacks 4 times from the same caster" somewhere.

I don't know about the pets issue, though. This is the first I've heard of it not working properly for MMs. I can confirm that I've seen the reactive proc fire from my Lore pets, though.

Are you sure it's supposed to work on pets? It seems like it'd be absolutely ridiculous with powers like creepers, phantom army, MM pets, etc. If they re-add it then I'll be stoked, but I had just assumed it was disabled intentionally.

It definitely doesn't work with creepers, flytrap, or animated stone.

Yeah, my guess is pets don't get to proc it because otherwise a single caltrops would instantly cap the dot and the -res on everything.

Im pretty sure i saw it proc on my creepers and flytrap... but there was so much AOE going on.....

I can say that the -res debuff in Reactive does work on pets, or at least, Rain of Fire (which is a pseudo-pet of sorts). I have seen it visually on the mobs, and the fact that the damage ticks jump up is a clear indicator.

But I don't think the DoT works, probably because that would just be insane.

All Interface procs work with pets, other than DoT.

DoT worked until they changed how it was applied. It had a different bug before which was arguably worse (the enemies damaged themselves, leading to reduced rewards). It's likely that when they changed it they messed up the pet application.

I don't think the DoT could be any more "insane" than the other bonuses. The DoT still has a stacking cap so it can't go any higher than a set amount of damage no matter how many pets or tics are trying to apply it.

I don't really know the history of these changes, but it seems like you do. Considering what you're saying, are we under the impression that it's bugged or WAI?

AFAIK it's a bug that it doesn't currently work with pets. Because A) all other interface bonuses do, B) it used to.

it wouldn't be ridiculous on pets because of the stacking limit of no more than 6x with the dot portion of reactive I believe

4x but yeah.

As of today, reactive dot damage is not working in creepers.
